That’s right, fantasy season may be over, but that doesn’t mean we just stop talking about basketball, especially when the playoffs start tonight!

It’s been a crazy road, we’ve seen the Luka trade, which pretty much will stamp this season as one to remember in of itself, but we saw the emergence of what will likely be a potential dynasty in the West with the Thunder having one of the best team-seasons in history, ever. No hyperbole. Yet to be tested deep in the playoffs, MVP-favorite SGA looks to lead a young team to clash with an Eastern Conference team that should end up being one of the Celtics or Cavs. The Bucks could make some noise too, but nearly 75% of the drama will surely come out of the Western Conference. It ever was and always shall be, am I right?

And quickly on the MVP, I’ve pretty much had Joker as my vote (as if I have one) for most of the year, but now at the end, one thing keeps nagging at me. No, not your mom. It’s just this thought, maybe at the end of it all, it really should be the best player on the best team that wins it. Sure, that’s simplifying it a bit, I’ve seen some great nuanced arguments out there for both, but beyond all that, I’d like to just make it simple. I think it’s okay to say both could be MVP, it really is a testament to how great those two have been this year. I even think Giannis has a fair argument as well, but the feeling is that SGA will win and I am absolutely just fine with that.

So how does your bracket look? Can’t look any crazier than mine!

Let me know below and we’ll see you again soon, preferably in a week, unless something happens to Kawhi, then yeah, hello darkness my old friend…
