The Holidays are here and with it comes the usual set primetime NBA comes the next week or so including Wolves and Mavs, Lakers and Warriors and the Sixers and Celtics. I only added the last one in since no matter which team wins, including team asteroid, we all win.
In the meantime, not sure anyone has noticed it, but Russell Westbrook has been putting together a string of pretty nice games the last few weeks. Against the Pelicans last night, he continued that trend with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 1 block in 36 minutes. Perhaps just a coincidence Nikola Jokic also provided 27 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists for his 11th triple-double of the season. Truly the best floor raiser right now. I mean, what’s ceiling raiser, is that a thing? Dude just demolishes building codes like he does the buffet.
Been saying the Victor Wembanyama been on fire the last three weeks. An added bonus is the 3.2 threes and 3.8 blocks he’s been averaging per game, something no one has ever done more than 2.5 of ever.
