Happy 2017, RCLers! Sorry we’re just now updating again, lots happening in the early goings-ons of the calendar flip. Twas not my intent to have these turn into bi-weekly updates, but with things so busy, I decided to be bi-curious and see how this works until we get closer to playoff time. Not set in stone though! And I’ll be sure to run the standings every Monday either way…
In the past two weeks, we’re still all looking up at Brad’s Awkward Team! At 67-31-1, Brad has a share of the overall leader, so I guess one team is looking directly at Brad’s Awkward Team in the standings! Look out for surging The Doc is In, in the WE-GOT-A-TROPHY! league! Both squads have 67-31-1 records and 135 RCL points to set the pace for the final 9 weeks of fantasy hoop’s regular season action.

EmasculatingThroatLozenges RCL – Starting with our incumbent, Brad’s Awkward Team has hit a little bit of a bump, going 5-3-1 and 4-5 in the past two weeks. Had a chance to separate from the pack! Damn, losses last week by 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and only 1 TO! And Giannis had to sit on Sunday! Things could’ve been much Greeker for Brad if Giannis was taking his Emergen-C.
WE-GOT-A-TROPHY! – We got a Trophy…? More like we have an RCL superstar climbing the ranks! After back-to-back 6-3 wins and on a 6-week winning streak, The Doc is In first place! See what I did there?! The combo of Kawhi/J Buckets with PGs Elfrid and PBev stepping up has this team a defensive juggernaut. The Iron Curtain of RCL contenders!
Take on the Jay – While also falling on some rough times, Cronos’s is still well in it! Back-to-back 4-5 losses, but still at 66-32-1 for 133 RCL points. Cronos gets Jay this week as well, who I’m guessing is on a 3-week long bender now that fantasy football is over. He’s gotta get crankin’ on those 2017 ranks in a few weeks though! …silly football…
JB vs. Slim Year 3 – Completely outshining the civil war between Slim and I this week is Big Baby’s Lovechild just blowing us out of the water! I’m glad that sentence ended with “out of the water”. Tied for 4th place, but they’re off a 3-6 loss! Could’ve been right there at #1, Big Baby Jr.! Erstwhile, my team is on the lamest 4-game winning streak ever (haven’t gotten to 6 wins in that stretch) and I think Slim might spank me, even though our team names would say the reverse…
JB’s RCL 3: “RCL Harder” – I’m doing a terrible job keeping contenders from emerging in my RCLs! ImpOSHible Mission remains tied with Big Baby Jr. for 4th place, off 7-2 and 6-3 wins. Hey, I’m only 3 games behind, I could still keep from embarrassing myself in this league! JB Harder! Weird… is sitting pretty right there at 14th. I’m in range! Stay on target!
H2H 9-12 RCL – Our good friends who have their Dicks Out 4 Harambe also have their Dicks out looking for an RCL title! Kinda a wild ride lately for Harambe, 8-1, 2-7, 7-2 the last 3 weeks?! So many emotions for poor Harambe! At 120 RCL points, Dicks Out is in 25th place, but still well in the running! Stay strong, Harambe, we must protect this house! Oh wait, ummmm, poor wording…
