With the All-Star Break behind us, the home stretch of the NBA season is official underway. As general mangers adjusted their rosters for a final playoff push, fantasy owners are adjusting as well to put themselves in the best position for the most important part of the season.
Likewise, appearances on the RCL Update are more important than ever, so let’s give a little credit to all the teams that have consistently performed well throughout the year.
Check out how your teams stacked up in week 16 of the 2015-16 RCL Master Standings Table table, and here’s how the action went down in the sixteenth regular season week across our 22 RCL Leagues:
JB’s Random Commenter League – With three weeks left in the fantasy basketball regular season, RJ (94-47-3) holds onto a 1.5-game lead over The Big Fundamentals (93-49-2). Ironically, RJ’s ability to practice the fantasy fundamentals may be the difference in this two-man race.
Slim’s RCL – After a 8-1-0 victory in week 15, Cronos’s Team (86-55-3) has jumped into first place in the league standings with Dick Champagne! (86-56-2) sitting just a half game back.
Adam’s RCL – Even with a 3-6-0 defeat last week, nothing can apparently stop Walkers Wingmen (94-47-3) from soaring high over the rest of the competition, landing in the top spot for what seems like the 50th straight week.
Kap vs. Razzball – Sniff & SCurry (98-44-2) is just running (or scurrying) away with the league lead. His 13.5-game lead is the fantasy equivalent of Forrest Gump running down the tunnel after scoring a touchdown.
Khang’s RCL – Nick is Razzy (98-43-3) has officially clinched a playoff birth. Just let that sink in for a second. With a 16-game lead over second place, I honestly don’t think you could lose even if you tried.
Stanley’s RCL – Also clinching a playoff spot after 7-2-0 victory last week, Scotty G (98-46-0) continues to intimidate the competition with his 10-game lead over second place.
Drew’s Premier Razzball League – Some Type of Mudiay (92-47-5) finds himself in first place once again with a 12.5-game lead over second place. Given all the free publicity generated from the RCL Update, I’d imaging his life is looking more like Mudiay’s after the draft.
Al’s RCL – Tied for fourth in the Master RCL Standings, IT2/3 of a cup (99-43-2) is also destroying 11/12 of the league with a 17-game lead over second place.
Phil’s RCL – Finally some excitement! El Toro Lloilo (86-56-2) is currently in first place with a 1-game lead over Rondo’s Gay Boogie (84-56-4) and a 3-game lead over Diego’s Team (83-59-2). I know it’s hard to coordinate your lineups to ensure the league stays competitive, but please, do it for me?
Sock Puppet RCL – With the number one overall spot in the Master RCL Standings, alligno (103-39-2) controls the fantasy basketball universe for another week.
The Pete Nice Challenge RCL – Also tied for fourth in the Master RCL Standings, Smokin’ Fine Cubans (100-44-0) has smoked the competition en route to a 20-game lead over second place.
Slim’s other RCL – Fear the Beard (85-57-2) continues to Euro Step his way through the league and finishes with the number one spot in the standings once again.
London RCL – Finishing in third place in the Master RCL Standings, Big-O-Miller (100-42-2) is out to remind all millennials of one simple fact: He is better than you at fantasy basketball.
Adam’s League #2! – With a 3-5-1 loss in week 16, DunkeycornApocalypse (87-54-3) remains in first place with a 5-game lead over Splash Brows (83-60-1).
Khang’s RCL – Part Deux – Four teams within six games of each other? I’m excited. Counting Coup (83-59-2) currently sits in first place with a 3-game lead over Khang’s Bland Team (80-62-2). However with LINSANITY (77-63-4) and Just like Kobe (78-65-1) sitting 5- and 5.5-games back respectively, the league standings could change in an instant.
JB vs. Slim – Mr Green Beans (89-53-2) must’ve been forgetting to eat his veggies over the past few weeks allowing JB BITCHSLAP SLIM (85-57-2) move into second place, four games behind the leader.
RCL is my hot hot _____ – SBC (96-45-3) maintains a 15.5-game lead over second place with a 6-3-0 victory last week.
ATOWN RCL – Three teams within three games? This just keeps getting better! The Bookhouse Boys (92-50-2) are currently in first place but with James’s Superb Team (91-51-2) sitting just one game back and One Bid Barker (89-53-2) three games back, it’s still anyone’s race.
JB’s surprise RCL – Second place in the Master RCL Standings, Heat Apologist (103-40-1) has made everyone forget about Team GIANT’s (90-49-5) early season successes.
EmasculatingHoopsLozengesRCL – Kobe beef Curry (91-52-1) holds the title as most delicious team name for another week, while extending his reign atop the standings for another week as well.
Charlie’s RCL – Brixton Guns (96-46-2) are really good at fantasy basketball. Blah blah blah. More importantly, I have recovered and moved into sixth place in the standings!! Playoffs here we come (hopefully)!
Kap vs. Razzball Round 2 – With a 8.5-game lead over second place, looks like Kap’s Team (91-52-1) is on his way to winning the second round of Kap vs. Razzball.
