The regular season is over! Records are locked in, only 3 weeks remain, and it’s all up to the Akron Lebrons in the driver’s seat. Shooting up into the #1 overall position on the RCL Leaderboard, we’re all relying on the 5 other playoff teams in the Razzball Snipers to bring him down!
One last reminder of the overall champion criteria – the RCL Overall Champ is the team that wins their league title with the best overall regular season record amongst the title winners. So bring it Razzball Nation, it’s playoff time!
Check out how your teams stacked up in the final 2014-15 RCL Master Standings table, and here’s how the action went down in the final regular season week across our 12 RCL Leagues:
JB’s Random Commenter League – Whoa, look at team Jooooooonnnnaassss! Monster second half with 6+ win weeks in 6 of the last 8 matchups. Of course I moved up to the 3 seed and have to play a hot team in week one! I guess you can take out your REL revenge on my RCL team, Green Beans… #1 seed Metal Face Doom wrapped up with a 115-64-1 record good for 7th overall. Good shot at the title!
EmasculatingHoopsLozengesRCL – Drew says ‘#KD2DC!’ ended with a 5-4 win with Barking BassetHounds coming up only 1 game short of the #1 seed. At 8th and 10th on the overall leaderboard, both are in the running for the overall title.
Slim’s RCL – Look at the juggernaut Slim – Razzball! I wonder who that is… Finished 116-63-1 and 6th on the RCL standings. C’mon Slim’s RCL, beat him down! I need to get my RCL squad further than his!
Hoops fanatics only league – A nice 7-2 win for Injuries Fo Dayz wrapped up a #1 season at 107-70-3 and tied for 14th in the overall standings. Must not have had too many injuries! Injuries Fo Hourz!
Razzball League Awesome – Another #1 squad putting a nice 7-2 cherry on top, Hibbert Forever snuck by AWESOM-O by a half game and good for 16th in the overall standings. Both will have an easy first week of the playoffs against NOBODY!
Take On The Jay(Wrong) – Oh no, the epic collapse! It’s like chicken in the dugout all over again! Pops’s Team fell to 4th place The Appalachians 2 3-6, falling to 1.5 games behind the Akron Lebrons to #2 overall on the RCL Leaderboard. But there’s still a very good chance of claiming the brass!
JB vs. Slim – Whoa, both Primo Pasta’s MVP and razzball rookie took 3-6 losses, with the rookie taking home the regular season title at 109-67-4. At 10th and 12th in the overall standings, there could also be an RCL overall champ lurking over my non-playoff ass!
Take on SethDaSportsMan – Monster 8-1 win for Cronos’s Team to end on an exclamation point, going 109-65-6 and toppling the league by 10 games. Tied for 8th on the overall leaderboard, the Cronos just needs to beat the quartet of teams left in the semis!
Kap vs. Razzball – Back-to-back leagues with the #1 teams ending on a 8-1 high note, with Drew Holiday making a big statement heading into the postseason at 116-61-3 good for 5th in the overall standings. Time to ruin that Holiday with some upsets, Kappers!
Razzball Snipers – After a 5-4 win last week, the Akron Lebrons shot up into the #1 overall spot with a 6-3 win and the big loss for Pops’s Team. With a healthy line-up, it’ll be a tough team to topple, but Kyrie’s playoff sched doe!
Jedball – micoolj79’s Team wrapped up a #1 seed season with a 5-4 win, ending with a 117-60-3 regular season record and 15 games over the Jedball field. Owned it all year! At 3rd overall in the RCL standings, mico’s dominance over the Jedballers will be a big factor in the RCL title race.
Latecomers! – Flip flop up top! Men lie women lie ended with a 7-2 win as the Brixton Guns ended the regular season on a sour note losing 3-6, giving the #1 seed to Men lie by 1.5 games. Late season drama! With byes this week, Brixton may get the last laugh in the championship round if the two juggernauts make it.
Thanks again for playing in 14-15 RCLs and good luck to your squads in Week 1 of the playoffs!
