John “Christmas Dime Bags” Wall was definitely in a giving mood last night and makes me love the trade offers rolling in right now.
I’ve been trying to punt these damn assists for some time now and have had no luck trading him away but there’s two potential offers that I could pull the trigger on.
Wall and Iblocka for PG and LMA (little Paul George panic button trade)
Or
Wall, Klay, and Iblocka for KD and Vucci Mane
Serge hasn’t been playing as well as I’d hoped lately but what do you think about these two?
@Eddie Rooskie: Haha yeah he looked awesome. Def would need to get a ton back. Nah not doing 1, not a LMA guy 2. Hmmm, nah I still think that’s a hold too, it’s mad close though. Meh, #2 is a coin flip, I do like getting best in deal, I could see going with that one trying to punt AST
I’ve been trying to unload Jon Leuer, T.J. McConnell, and Cody Zeller in my 12er league but no takers. What gives?
@Jesse: Ummm, that they’re not very good? Haha
How good would real life Celtics defense be if they traded for Nerlens? Smart/Bradley at the small, Crowder at the wing and Nerlens up front.
Although I think it might take a PG (Smart) to pry Nerlens from the Sixers
@kw: Be a lot better than D Lee, Olynyk, and Tyler Zeller D! Yeah, maybe Rozier and some picks…?
@JB Gilpin: Sixers love ’em picks (which Boston has a lot of…LOL)
Lowry the challenge.
@kw: oh and Kawhi for 12/25
@kw: Haha yeah it would make sense! Ugh Lowry needs to pick it up!
Heyo, haven’t listened to the pod yet but looking forward to it for the evening commute!
I’ve had Steven Adams for a bit and while he’s been servicable, I’m also eyeing lance thomas off the wire. In a 9 cat, with no particular need for any category this week, which guy do you like for this weeks streamer (or even ROS)? I probably won’t be able to use one of thomas’ games on the 26th but I have elfrid with a cankle and Sully with the back, so it’s pretty much either 2 games of lance thomas or 3 games of Steven Adams.
Gimme Will Barton for tonight and Kawhi for Friday in the 30 point challenge. Happy holidays guys!
@jdubs: Hah, well hopefully this one covers several commutes! We went mad long 🙂 I think I’d stick with Adams. Thomas just doesn’t do enough. Nice picks, good luck man!
Hey, JB! What do you think about swapping Iggy for Jordan Hill? I need a big man since Gobert and Jonas went down. Thanks!
@Jerry: Hey man! Sure, yeah I’d take Hill needing some big man love
Looking forward to listening on my ride home tonight, thanks!
I’d like to add some players from the wire, irregardless of needs, would you mind ranking who you would lose first to last? Clarkson, Sullinger, Dieng, KCP…
@miles proudfoot: oh and while I would like to keep all, someone lost patience and dropped Gobert.
@miles proudfoot: Hope you like it man, thanks for listening! Eesh, they’re all pretty close, I think Clarkson, Dieng, KCP, then Sully, in order of who I’d keep, so Sully is first out, but tough drop. Hah yeah feel great getting Gobert for Sully tho!
Looking forward to finishing up the pod at work tomorrow! Ran outta time today, just wanted to get my pick in for 30 tonight – gimme RJax
@the gintern: Thanks for listening! Hah yeah it was a long one, not surprised it will take a couple listens 🙂 Nice, he’s pretty hot w 14 in first half!
Hi JB, my middleton for valancinas+ilyasova, what do you think?
@Trul: If a big man need and you’re an efficient team, then yeah I like it.
1. my towns kemba dieng for PG al jeff? seems steep but ill be able to have PG, Steph, and drum on one team
2. is burks droppable in a 14m? he’s been awful. you like him or larkin?
3. do you see tyson chandler improving or is this it for him? he’s been so unproductive. can get the likes of koq, tele, rolo, jokic
thanks and happy holidays!
@hamtime: 1. Sure yeah I still like PG a lot even with some duds lately 2. Mehhhh it’s a conversation, I’d hold for Larkin though. 3. I gotta think Tyson can do more. If you need 3s then Telet is a fine add, otherwise nah holding over rest. Happy holidays!
Will Barton for the 30 point challenge today.
Chris Bosh on Christmas day.
@Rob: Nice!
@JB Gilpin: Will Barton will have 30 before half lool
@Rob: hahaha not so fast…
@Rob: @Hk: Hah yeah I was surprised 18 in the first didn’t get it done either
Would you traded sullinger for nerlins?
@miles proudfoot: Yeah I guess I would take the upside of Nerlens. I can’t believe the defensive stats are so bad. Sully’s back kind of worries me, and they have enough warm bodies that they can afford to play him low minutes. Sure I’d gamble on Nerlens there.
@miles proudfoot: @Slim: Yup Nerlens for me too
Is it time for me to switch Monta with M Barnes in my shallow roto (14 cat, 9 team)? I mean this dude is surely must-own in fantasy and I certainly ain’t dropping Barton for him. The only thing I see Monta being able to out-do Barnes in (MAYBE) is assists and a couple of pts. Barnes should be comparable in stls and kill him elsewhere, possibly fg% too. Hell, I may have just talked myself into it haha..
@JB Gilpin: GAH! Not as easy sa I initially thought… will wait on your thoughts and if Barnes is swopped up before then, I guess I’m destined to ride out Monta’s craptacular season.
@Lasandro: Phew… has Monta fell that far? JB will say hold Monta but Barnes needs to be owned. If you truly believe Monta is your worst player (you have got to be killing your league to think that) then I’m not all that against it. Barnes is a perfect fit in Memphis and Jeff Green is no threat. I do believe it’s going to be season long value.
@Lasandro: @Slim: I’m still holding Monta. Barnes should be owned, but that’s he struggle in 8ers! Monta looked good last night
Would you trade porzingis and Wesley Matthews for ariza and dipo? Would that destroy my fg%? Thanks
@Hk: I don’t think I would. It’s a major boost to steals, a few assists but I’m not sure it helps anywhere else. I think Geese is the best player in the deal too. Nah I’m passing but it is a solid offer.
@Hk: @Slim: it’s close but I think I’m holding the Poison Goose as well
Klay THRAGNOF? He’s #3 overall last 2 weeks/#7 last month in 9 cat. Started off slow but I’d say he’s been pretty nice…
@srb: Yep, that’s how I see it. Obviously he can’t be compared to Kawhi or Jimmy Butler at this point but I’ll take it cat by cat…
FG% is good (The Korver part of my argument). I know most ThrAGNoFers don’t give good FG% so this is probably the biggest reason he’s ranked so high.
FT% of 2.7 attempts per game barely registers in our overall FT%. Yawn…
3s, yeah the Thr part.
Pts are above avg for the usual ThrAGNoFer. I did say he was Korver but with points.
Reb 3.5 for a wing is below avg. People complain mightily about Wiggins reb and he’s at 3.8 per.
Ast 2.5 for a wing is about average. He’s no DeRozan! Hell he’s no Middleton…
Stl 0.6 per game is ATROCIOUS for a wing. People constantly complain about Wiggins steals and he’s at 0.6, and once again Klay is no DeRozan in steals. Ugh…
blk 0.9 is very nice for a wing and on par with Kawhi and Butler. I should probably give him more credit for his blocks than I do.
TOs 1.9 is annoying from a wing. He’s no Kawhi (1.2), he’s close to Butler (1.7), but he’s also no Middleton (1.5) and all of them have more assists.
Conclusion: He’s Kyle Korver but with points, although Klay also has fewer boards and steals and more TOs then Korver, so it isn’t exactly a 1-to-1 comp.
@srb: @Slim: yeah blk is a big help. I’m answering on phone so don’t have his ft up, but isn’t the volume rising? Also korvers 3s are still wayyyyyy lower than Klay. I’ve spread my Klay as thragnof to you, while its gone for me!
Currently tied for last place in a 12 team 9 cat h2h league
My current team
Rjax
Ariza
Burks
Parsons
Markieff
Jae Crowder
Towns (recently acquired in exchange for kemba)
Marc Gasol
Evan Turner
John Wall
Wiggins
Crabbe
Deandre Jordan
The injured:
Mudiay
Noah
Valuncianas (currently in my IL)
1. On the wire: Lance Thomas, Temple, Gerald Green, Javale, Courtney Lee, Stan Jo, Frazier, Scola, Stuckey, Canaan, Tyson Chandler, TJ Warren, Iman, Amir Johnson, Aaron Gordon, Bogdanovic, etc.
Veeeery thin wire
Anyone I should swap since Noah/Mudiay are injured?
2. Any trade targets I should go after?
3. I was offered Iggy and Drummond for rjax and gasol or towns is this any good? He is also willing to let go of fournier, maybe wesley matthews or just hold my players? I’m up 6-2 this week so far and idk whether to stay the course and be patient I just don’t wanna fall too far behind and not have a shot at the playoffs. Thanks JB!
@WALLabouthtebenjamin$: 1. Yuck. But I think in a 12er Mudiay can go, since you’re so low in the standings Noah and Markieff can go too. For the time being I would go with Temple, Gerald, the 3rd is tough… Stuckey, Lee would be my top options although they aren’t too good. Whoever has the most games is who I’d go with as a 3rd.
2. Individual players is tough cause I don’t know what the other teams need. But another PG would probably be my 1st target.
3. NO!!! Gasol and Drummond are close if you’re punting FT% and you kind of are with DeAndre, but Reggie throws that trade WAY off and it’s a position you can’t afford to lose. I kind of like going for DeAndre using Gasol. I’d take Fournier but he can only have Burks, or Crabbe. Nothing better. He can have any of those 3 drops too…
@Slim: appreciate the legit analysis slim reaper how do you feel about deandre for Brandon Knight?
Merry Christmas btw!
@Slim: @WALLaboutthebenjamin$: that’s a tough one, and you kinda need a big still I’d likely hold, but the value is close
@Slim:
@JB Gilpin: @Slim: How do you guys feel about trading JV for Deron Williams with my current team as is
@WALLabouthtebenjamin$: It’s close, I don’t think a healthy JV is worth Deron though
@JB Gilpin: sorry about all the questions but what about George hill? Appreciate the input guys!
@Wallaboutthebenjamin$: I do like Hill… With losing Burks, I think Hill would be a solid G fit for ya
NER FRICKIN LEN FRICKEN NO FRICKEN EL FRICKIN SHIZ.
I do not know what to make of the guy anymore. I PASSED #OCCUPYDRAYMONDGREEN FOR HIM.
@draco21: Wow that burns… someone wasn’t following our ranks. Tsk tsk…
@Slim: in hindsight, CP3 Noel combo was killer. Now. Noel is just… killing my team. benching him for now. no trade value whatsoever now.
@Slim: @draco21: hah yeah I liked Noel, but then yahoo pre ranked him something nuts and I became about average on him. Dray I had a good 20-30 spots higher in my ranks 🙂
Dang it. Wrong Kobe day.
@Slim: I feel you Slim, I called Kobe last Thursday… tell you what, we each get a half point and call it even? haha… happy holidays!
@Slim: @jdubs: haha the board is pretty tough! Seems easier until you do it and we barely score haha
Traded Tyreke and Schroder for Hassan per your advice. Feel good about it. Just got a new offer that is intriguing for a league that seldom trades……
My Tobias and Bosh for his Chris Paul and Harrison Barnes.
My current team:
DeAndre, Hassan, Gortat, Capela
Butler, Harris, Bosh, Ariza, Crowder, Aminu, Taj
Wall, Elfrid, Mudiay
What do you think?
@Johnc: Yeah Whiteside is getting a lot more run recently, it’s a heck of a trade.
Another PG would be nice, and you do have an extra wing… It just feels like a little too much given CP3s age and current injury concerns. Steals look really good… maybe switch in Ariza or Crowder for Tobias so you don’t lose so much scoring. Barnes is useless but the open roster spot is not.
@Slim: great advice as always! I am killing steals as you noted and have an owner who loves Ariza. His key guys are PG, Jack, Jonas, Rubio, McCollum and Leonard. He won’t trade Leonard but I think the rest are in play with the right package. He already sent a feeler for Ariza and Hassan for PG the same day my Hassan trade was posted. Would you look at that? (Haven’t even played Hassan yet LOL). If a straight Ariza trade, who would you look at on his list?. Merry Christmas.
@Slim: @Johnc: LOVE the Hassan deal. Yeah I’m not huge on the cp one either. Problem is Hassan fits you so well for that pg feeler. Ariza and Tobias for pg while he’s a buy low?
@JB Gilpin: thanks a bunch…..I also love that the fantasy gods mess with you….as I watched in horror as Tyreke went bonkers last night. He is a good one in that system but hopefully Hassan is the real deal ROS.
@Johnc: hah yeah whiteside was solid tho too I think in the end the gods will be with that one 🙂
Would you say Lou will is sell high? I do need the 3s but maybe guys like KCP or even fournier win in the long term?
@jonny: Yeah I think so. I wouldn’t be shocked if a playoff team comes asking about Lou and LA deals, also LA will want to play Russell/Clarkson as much as possible late in the year. Yeah I don’t think he’s a 30 min guy during the playoffs, but there is a chance. I’d take either of those over Sweet Lou.
@jonny: @Slim: yup agree. I’d take either of the other guys long term
Funniest pod yet – from Jason Kidd’s hip injury to “waiters? oh, you mean dion,” good stuff all around!
Phwef, glad I wasn’t the only one to suffer from premature edropulation of Gorgui this year… Just traded Duncan and Jeremy Lin for Tony Parker and Otto Porter, so I’m looking to grab someone to replace Timmy’s blocks, thinking maybe Gorgui or Hibbert? Hoping to give away a steals and 3s guy, ideally DeMarre, thoughts??
Here’s my squad (16team, 9cat roto):
CJM, Parker, LaVine, Colly, Kendall Marshall
Redick, Korver, DeMarre, Lord Covington, Otto
Favors, Gortat, Vala, Bookworm, Powell
For the christmas 30 point challenge I’m going with D-Wade, it’s too bad Cliff Paul’s troublemaker little brother isn’t playing a realer team otherwise I’d have to take him.
Discovered Razzball this year and have been loving reading and listening every day, always look forward to it. Appreciate all the advice you guys have been giving, keep up the good work!!
Oh and I was a fan of naughty or nice, btw. Cheers guys, happy holidays 🙂
@The Gintern: Thanks. Yeah those 6:00am ones are a little different…
I’d give DeMarre for Gorgui, esp if it fits a need. Hibbert, not so much, although I agree a few more blocks are needed.
@The Gintern: @Slim: thanks man! Yeah we def wanna get back to afternoon pods at some point, I take blame there :). Yup I like gorgui for demarre as well. Haha wade is def a good pick.
Thanks so much for listening and reading man, happy holidays!
Hey JB, happy holidays!
Btw, what do you think about this trade,
My Demar Derozan and Jabari Parker for Al Jefferson and Kyle Korver.
16 team h2h league. 9 cats.
Im in need of some blocks and 3ptm.
Thanks bro and great podcast as always! Very entertaining!
Cheers!
@Wayne: There’s some risk since you’re getting the significantly older players but given my disdain for DeMar as a fantasy player I would do it. Although I may be alone in my thinking.
@Wayne: @Slim: nah I def like the deal too. I think big al is gonna be solid when back. Thanks for listening to the pod!
Hi jb , would you trade clarkson + collison for dipo in 14ers ?
@Nont nontiskul: Err… more than I WANT to give. Nah, that’s too much.
@Nont nontiskul: @Slim: I don’t mind it, obviously love depth in a deeper but I think it’s fine
Schroeder just became available in my 12 team, 8 Cat dynasty league. I’m likely going to bid on him to get him off waivers but it puts me in a tricky spot moving forward.
We’ve got a rookie slot where we have to have a rookie and it locks in as of December 1st, then opens up again before the Allstar break before it locks in for the rest of the season.
I’ve also got Beal in my IR spot so when he comes back he’ll take a roster spot.
With all that info, here’s where I’m at. I currently have Nokic locked into my rookie slot but picked up Portis thinking that he’ll be the better stash in dynasty and potentially the better play ROS post ASB.
When Beal comes back I would need to decide who to drop then. My team is good enough to win this year too so it isn’t a simple decision for me dynasty wise. All that being said, assuming I win Shroeder off waivers who would you drop out of these three (hopefully trades are made before Beal comes back and it makes my decision easier, but I doubt it)
Jones, Schroeder or Plumlee. OR should I drop Portis if he isn’t “freed”? as Roto likes to say.
@Nick: Definitely Portis is a keeper. Jokic is OK but it’s going to get messy when Nurk gets back and the Bulls are desperately trying to get Portis more playing time. In dynasty I think Porits is WAY out in front of Jokic.
Tough… I guess I’d let Schroder or Plumlee walk. I guess it’s more need dependant than anything. If you don’t need a big as much let Plumlee go. And yes I think Portis is going to be better next year and could absolutely be better at any moment this year.
@Nick: @Slim: I think Plumlee is the one out for me. I just don’t see him having a bright future.
Covington dipo fournier in a vacuum?
In order plz…
Also,
Would u do hayward dipo or bledsoe?
9cat roto 10 team
@TheJohn: Pretty close… I’ll go Oladipo, Fournier, Covington even though I know that’s not how it’s been lately.
Yeah I’d take Bledsoe there since in a 10er you can fill that roster spot with a real good player of the wire. The more shallow the league the more I lean toward the best overall player, and almost always the 1 in a 2-for-1.
@TheJohn: @Slim: I’ve still got Covington ahead of Fournier but Dipo #1.
Yup gimme Bledsoe too!
hey
Collison or Olynyk in a 9 cat?
Collison was just dropped
thanks!
happy holidays
@sliimbo: I’ll stick with Collison. Olynyk is on a tear but it’s directly related to Amir Johnson being down. I trust Colly more.
@sliimbo: @Slim: agree sticking with colly
Colly, Fournier and Harrison Barnes hit the wire today. In 12 team league, they are fairly appealing. Rebounds and Steals are my string suits. Could use more points, threes. Thoughts?
@Johnc: strong suits
@Johnc: Barnes is bleh. Collison vs Fournier. Tough one… both are very solid for your needs. I guess I’ll go with Fournier but I think Collison is the better player, but strictly based off needs Fournier shoots more 3s so yeah, I’ll go with him, but Skiles… I feel like whichever I choose the other one will probably be better.
@Johnc: @Slim: haha yeah Barnes is bleh to me too. I’m taking Fournier as well, glad he’s getting over that lull he had
Merry xmas @Slim and @JB Gilpin! Hope y’all are having a great time wherever you are.. well Slim should be enjoying himself at the beach, no doubt!
So, outta nowhere, we have a trade that could have some interesting ramifications. After Philly witnessed a former PG of theirs burn them when MIL came into town, they must’ve contemplated on all their past floor generals of yore and how they long for their return. Murder She Wroten, as he hits the waiver wire! In comes Ish, only several months removed from his tenor in PHI haha. What are we thinking here? Fantasty relevant in even my 9team roto L? My only cut candidates, if that, are Dieng, Monta and Barton. I’m a Gobert owner, so I thought grabbing Dieng off the wire would help. But my PGs comprise of two very inconsistent dudes in Teague and Jack. In a roto I guess them being inconsistent isn’t that big a deal but I see Ish possibly outplaying Jack, if he gets 30min. Monta is bordeline tradeable in my league but no one’s very keen on getting him on their team. It’s a xmas conundrum!
@Lasandro: Merry Christmas to you and your as well.
Yeah Ish was immediately picked up in all my RCLs, in a league that shallow I’m not so sure. I guess you can probably take a wait and see approach.
@Lasandro: @Slim: merry Christmas man! I am far from home, but I know you’re working far from your original home as well…
Hah I think you’re leaving ish out there for now, I’m not rushing to get him in 12ers either
Hello, I just received a blockbuster trade offer and I am not sure if I should consider it. This is what my team looks like right now.
PG – John Wall, Kemba Walker, Jordan Clarkson
SG – Jimmy Butler, Will Barton, Danny Green, Garret Temple
SF – Lebron James, Danilo Gallinari, Omri Casspi
PF – Paul Millsap, Taj Gibson
C – Gorgui Dieng
IR – Rudy Gobert
I was offered Kevin Durant, Christ Paul, Eric Bledsoe & Kent Bazemore for my Lebron James, John Wall, Paul Millsap & Rudy Gobert. My initial thought is no, but I may be overlooking something. Thoughts?
@Andrew: You are correct, it’s a no. But it may not be too far off. Durant > LeBron. CP3 = Wall. Millsap = Bledsoe. But the Gobert thing throws it off and you’re giving up 2 bigs, easily your biggest weakness, and getting non back. Nah.
@Andrew: @Slim: yup looks like they’re trying to swindle some crazy depth. I dunno if I would trade wall for cp3 given the risk for those two in a comparison either. Ill pass
omg I think I made a mistake. I traded my drummon and wiggins for his pau gasol and demar derozen…
12 team, 9 cat , H2H This is my team now
(9) Damian Lillard (Por – PG)
(16) John Wall (Was – PG)
(40) Gordon Hayward (Uta – SG,SF)
(57) Reggie Jackson (Det – PG,SG)
(88) Robert Covington (Phi – SG,SF)
serge Ibaka(by a trade)
zaza paculia
jared sullinger
pau gasol
demar derozen
thoughts about my new trade and team?
@hanns: It isn’t that bad… you are no longer a punt FT team which is nice since you were pretty much a punt FG team already, and you kind of solidified that with DeRozan. It’s fine. If anything though you a few more blocks would help since Pachulia and Sullinger aren’t particularly useful there.
@hanns: @Slim: yeah I woulda held personally, but not longer noting ft% helps, and if Wiggins doesn’t take a step forward it won’t be that bad
I know Tjones’ playing time still hasn’t been that great but I like that D-mo, for the past two games has only averaged 7 mins each. And Tjones is somehow playing better than Capela. It’s either his minutes are going to creep up sooner (we’ll find out against nawleans) or he’s going to find himself wearing a new uniform.
@Dante Green: I think most likely answer is his minutes Creep up. He’s been playing too good and as I mentioned on the old, they win every time he plays 20+ mins!
@JB Gilpin: Would love to see him wear a new uniform. Maybe the Suns? Been reading a lot about how deal is basically in place involving Morris and TJones+Brewer. Just waiting for Jan 15 due to Brewer’s type of contract (?)
One of the only reasons why I’m trying to hold until then (aside from hard cap on moves–35- of our league and I’m @ 26 😀 )
@kw: Suns certainly make sense with that kind of move. Hah yeah you’re def holding him with only 9 moves left 🙂
Would you trade away bosh and Wes Matthews. For Westbrook?
@Gg: Absolutely.
@Gg: @Slim: Yup i certainly would
What’s up JB? Merry Christmas.
I’m in a standard 12 team league, and need some advice from you guys. My team is below.
PG: Wall, Lillard, Collison, Beverly
SG/SF: Hayward, Barton, Bazemore, Marcus Morris, Matt Barnes, CJ Miles
C: Pau Gasol, Taj Gibson, Olynyk
IL: Gobert, Valanciunas
With Gobert coming back this week, I have to drop somebody. I was thinking Beverly or Olynyk, but I think they are too valuable to be on the waiver wire. I’ll hold onto Taj until Gobert comes back since his value only has a few weeks of life anyway.
I was thinking of selling Barton high (he can’t keep this up, can he?). I tried to package Lillard and Barton for Curry, got rejected. Tried to package Hayward and Barton for George, got rejected. Then Jimmy Butler’s owner sounds willing to do Barton and Hayward for Butler. I would be losing a lot of 3s with that trade, but Butler over Hayward would be a clear upgrade, right? Or… would it not..? Hayward and Barton can have some really amazing games sometimes and Butler doesn’t make many 3s. Should I go ahead with this trade? Or would I be better off just dropping either Olynyk or Beverly? Or look into doing a different 2 for 1?
@Mike:
So it would basically come down to Butler and Olynyk or Hayward and Barton
@Mike: Yeah Butler > Hayward but I don’t really see Barton slowing down too much. I think it’s a solid sell of Butler and yeah I’ll take the Hayward/Barton side. I would have taken Curry though, but not Paul George. I think you might be awfully grateful you got away from that offer.
I haven’t heard that Gobert was all that close but at least you get JV back this week.
@Mike: @Slim: Merry Christmas man! Sorry I just got in from a lot of travels 🙂
I agree, I don’t see Barton slowing down “too” much, but he should maintain value. I still think getting Butler for Hayward+Barton would be huge though.
I personally would take the Butler side still in a 12er. I think it’s a big enough upgrade to get best in deal
In 12 team, h2h league seeking guard help. With your guys advice, I recently rejected a Paul and Barnes for my Bosh and Tobias offer. He has come back with Paul and Collison which may make more sense given my lack of point guard depth. My team:
DeAndre, Hassan, Gortat, Bosh, Capela
Harris, Ariza, Crowder, Aminu, Taj,
Wall, Payton, Butler, Bojan
IR: Mudiay (drop due to %s??)
Thoughts on the trade? Also, watching Capela getting minutes without much production is making me wonder about his role on my roster especially since I have blocks handled well with DeAndre and Hassan. Thanks for the guidance!
@Johnc: Yeah that’s a much closer trade. You know what… I’ll take it. But with losing those 2 I think you are going to need to add more scoring. Capela can go for a hot FA and yes Mudiay can go in a 12er. I’m done with him this year, even in a FT punt. We’ll see what happens next year.
@Slim:
Thanks. He added Dieng to the deal. So it ended up Bosh, Tobias and Capela. For Paul, Collison and Dieng. I Wanted another guard but his pieces did not allow it. Seems close enough to actually help both teams. Again, appreciate the insight.
@Slim: @Johnc: Yeah I think I take that deal too. Ah nice yeah I like getting Dieng in it too.
Hey JB! Merry Christmas
Bledsoe going down has really put a spanner in the works for me. Im in a very active 12man league, and was wondering whether you think i should hold him or drop him?? Just worried that someone with a bit more patience picks him up n that’ll screw me
@Dally: I’m currently winning my league 8-1 but there are a couple other guys on 7-2 and whilst I would preferably hold onto bledsoe (Ive been holding gobert in my other league)I dont want it to cost me a top seed
@Dally: Yeah without an IL spot it’s tough. I’m holding for now, I know it’s rough but I think it’s the right thing to do… at least until things start going too far south.
Saturday was unreal… I lost Griffin, Bledsoe, Burks, and Favors all in one day on one team.
@Dally: @Slim: Yeah I’m a little late to the party, but yeah he’s a goner now… 🙁
Eesh, yeah that was a rough one Slim…
How long do you think Bledsoe will be out for . Should I trade him for someone like casspi. Get 20 cent for a dollar
@Nont nontiskul: 2 months minimim, the rest of the year is completely possible. Let’s see what they say after the surgery. If you can get 20 cents on the dollar then you probably did pretty good though. If you’re fighting for a playoff spot and can’t stash him then I wouldn’t be entirely against dropping him outright.
@Nont nontiskul: @Slim: Yup, we got the rest of season, uggghhh.
Henson got 25 minutes of playing time and did pretty well. Is it worth dropping larkins for him?
@hanns: I wish I could trust Henson to get 25 minutes a night, but alas I do not. Monroe only got 19 minutes and I don’t expect that to continue. Monroe+Henson+Plumlee equaled exactly 48 min. So he still isn’t playing any PF. I’ll stick with Larkin, at least he plays next to Jack a little and his minutes should come back fairly quickly.
@hanns: @Slim: Yeah with Jack getting benched a little, things are looking up for Larkin. Unless dire blocks need, I would have Larkin
JB or Slim: ROS Dragic or Ish?
@Mic C: It’s a heck of a lot closer than it should be but I’ll stick with Dragic. Ish will probably shoot sub 40% and the TOs might get really out of control, but he’ll top Dragic in assists… also we’re yet to see Okafor play with Ish so the jury is a bit out on how that will effect the numbers.
@Mic C: @Slim: I’ll stick with Dragic too, those TO are indeed the bugaboo, 8 cat might actually go Ish
thoughts on covington ROS?
@hanns:
also, do you think barton is doing even better b/c galinari isn’t there? Should i try to sell high on him?
@hanns: With Barton – yeah no Gallo and no Mudiay. Sooooooo much usage. I think he’s safely in the 50-75 range ROS. So selling no lower than a solid haul. Covington has been bad, and Ish isn’t helping yet, I’m holding, but he looks to be 75-100ish
