I hath returned from my pilgrimage!  After several beers and several pounds added to my waistline, I’m back to my home country of Razzball Nation, and Slim and I catch up on the last few nights of action.  We discuss injuries to Blake Griffin and Clint Capela and possible pickups there, plus I eat some crow with how the Nuggets are looking these days…  Womp womp…  We then play another edition of Can We Make Slim Look Stupid, preview tonight’s games, and wrap the show with our 30-point challenge picks.

Haha nah I’m serious, the NYC broadcasters said that the way it’s actually pronounced IS “Billy”. Must be a random Spanish-ism I guess. Perhaps his nickname should be the Spanish Inquisition?

Ugh, listening to @slim bum me out about Warren makes me wonder if I should continue holding him in my 10er roto L. Let’s see how he does today.. I need to see more than 10mins outta him tho, cmon Watson! Random note, coach is only 37 geez! Prob younger than Grandpa Tyson!

I LOVE the yodel man on the Price is Right! So much tension as he ascends that hill.

@Slim didn’t you JUST say that you won’t be taking guys on back to backs for the 30pt challenge!? A man without honour. Gimme Jimmy in a fast-paced one against WAS.

@Lasandro: @Slim: No one expects the spanish inquisition! Yeah I think Warren can go, sadly. Was looking sooooo good…

Hahahaha, yeah I burned Slim on that too in the daily notes 🙂

    Hello, I want an opinion about a dynasty league 14man H2H 9-cat I’m into.
We have 3 keepers (max 5y each player), and I had Kyrie, Gobert, Milsap for the 1st time.

This year I picked Jokic with the first pick, he’s playing like a keeper, and I think that I should trade him along with another keeper to get a better keeper, because at the end of the year I will be forced to toss him or one currently keeper.
Who do you think I should target?
What do you think of my thinking?
(For example that’s what my brother did last year, he had Dame, Porz, Dipo, Vuce and he traded Vuce+Dipo for Drummond)

@jw2: Totally agree, with a limited keeper set, you always try to consolidate into the best 3. It’ll be tough since his price is high, but mmmmmm Myles Turner. Jokic + someone good for him? Or Gobert, who is really coming along yet off a ho-hum game for him with the Jazz being blown out

Pod well done guys!! I’ll take The Freak for 30 tonight against Lebron and co. coming off a pretty uncharacteristic poor shooting night 🙂 no need to worry bout dem young freaky legs in the second ‘leg’ of back to backs!!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Doctor G: Thanks man, we had a fun time as always! Damn I almost went Greek too, yeah his legs are so young, they won’t wear out!

      • Doctor G says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: ahhh 2 points short. Much better shooting night though :). Kidd didn’t play him the last 6 mins or so of the 4th and the score wasn’t THAT lopsided! I’m getting on the board next time though for sure!!

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:

@Doctor G: Yeah he looked good! Yeah I hated the end of that game, not getting the guys involved. Early white flag. Dumb!

i’ll go with bledsoe for the 30-point challenge

@pbomb: I thought about that one, but PBev scared me off… Could happen tho!

  7. The Gintern says:

I think Mo Buckets will be alright, he’s always been pretty effective in small minutes anyways. So you think Tobias will be okay if he moves to the bench, huh? He’s definitely a metrics guy, and I did name my team after him… but if I were to try and ship him what range would you want in return?

Jimmy disappointed too badly last time, gonna go John Wall for 30 tonight.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@The Gintern: Yeah I would think Tobias would still get 30+ minutes and the same shots, maybe even a handful more. Ohhhh i like the Wall call!

  8. Dusty says:

I’ll take Zach LaVine for 30, someone on Minnesota seems to go big every game.

My score card says Jokic 15, Nurkic 9 for games they’ve both played in so far.
In price is right yodeler guy theme, Gary Harris really fell off the mountain top last night. Drop Harris for Deandre Liggins? Per 36 in 2013-14 he was 72ppg hahaha

    • JB Gilpin

@Dusty: As LaVine owner in REL, I hope so! And woooo! Yeah I need to remind Slim on that 🙂

Haha yeah def full yodel-man fall, but I think it will be fine in a non-blowout. Hahahaha, sure, gimme Liggins!!!

      • Slim

        Slim says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Yep. It’s all Jokic’s fault though since he couldn’t play PF. I’m not sure what they plan to do in the long run there now.

The entire Nuggets starting lineup was terrible. Drop Jokic for… Faried?

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Dusty: @Slim: Haha sure, all Jokic’s fault 🙂 Nah, drop Jokic for Darrell Arthur

  9. jdubs says:

I’ll take Hayward for 30 tonight!

How do you feel about Starvin’ Marvin Williams right now? he’s had 3 usable games in a row, I’ve picked him up before his last game. Worth a hold in 12ers right now in a hope he rounds back into form?

    • jdubs says:
      (link)

@jdubs: oops, didn’t see your next article before I commented! I know slim’s hating but I’m gonna take your advice and see whether those blocks come creeping back to what they were last year.

      • Slim

        Slim says:
        (link)

        @jdubs: Coming into the year I projected…
        .435/.800/1.7/10.5/5.8/1.3/0.8/0.6/0.8 :28
        And he’s at…
        .384/.781/1.8/10.4/5.7/1.3/0.4/0.3/0.7 :28
So cut my projected dstats in half… yeah no thanks.

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@jdubs: @Slim: Hayward it is! Slim, Marvin started mad cold then got hurt. He’s playing better now. If he gets cold again in 2-3 games, sure cut again. Ain’t no thang. I think the blocks can get back to 0.5ish, mins are over 30 right now, yeah he’s worth owning for a little bit to me

  10. TheMuppetManiac says:
