Hi JB / Slim, Robin Lopez, Nikola Pekovic, Andrew Bogut and Ersan Ilyasova are available in my league. Who should I drop Courtney Lee for? I am leaning toward Andrew Bogut if he does not miss too much time, but Nikola Pekovic and Ersan Ilyasova are interesting too. Thanks for advice.

@Wen: Yeah I’m going Bogut too, doesn’t sound like he’ll be out that much longer. Ilyasova is #2, but still out himself

Hey JB, predictions for Top Chef tonight? I’m thinking a surprise exit for Mei, and then the culinary instructor gets axed in LCK.

@fields: Haha, I think Padma is gonna try to makeout with Gronk, and chick with the half-shaved head is out. She’s been kinda weak. Haha, but don’t chat with me about it until tomo night! Not watching until then – DVRing

Sooo, Dennis Schroder eh? Surprise start. Double Double. Leads the Hawks to a blowout win over Irving and the Cavs. Very nice!

Any idea how long Teague is gonna be out?

@A Hill O’ Beans: Yup, good call by us getting that news in in time! Plus an awesoem draftkings play for me. At least a couple more I’d imagine, it’s a hammy you just never know sometimes.

@JB Gilpin: Yep, very nice job on that. They crushed Cleveland tonight too, and boy is Atlanta rolling.

How about this for PTS/REB over his last 6. Shooting 57% from the field and 87% from the line over that period too.

        18/12, 18/15, 10/14, 8/13, 6/8, and 16/10 so far tonight.

Know who that is? Its a shame he’s not really giving anything in AST/STL/BLK though.

do you guys prefer ilyasova or meeks?

both seem to the hot talk about guys at the moment with meeks top 50 last year new team coming off injury and ilyasova top 50 two year previous and last year not so good…

@david: Mehhh, tough to answer until we see Ilyasova back and how Kidd uses him. If making a pickup I’d get Meeks, but would switch it the first time we hear word Ersan will start

  5. Melo says:

What do I do with melo in a 12er? Do I hit the panic button and trade him? Yahoo notes are really trippin me out jb!

@Melo: Hah it has beennothing but bad news more or less. I wouldn’t give him away, but I don’t mind selling. You can always shop around and shoot some offers you’d def take and open a convo

Yo JB as u can see i always read your posts! Good stuff man! But i’m not here to ask anything, i just wanna give a shoutout to all the batum owners out there including myself. So anyway this season batum decided to fcuk us all up… We should thank batum for drafting him in the 3rd rd and getting a corey brewer-like stats in return, nah, i even think the latter is playing much better than him. I don’t care if he’s contributing in other department, but if he’s making just 38% from the field(24 from 3)! Screw him! I cringe everytime i see his fg% and u can’t even trade him cos nobody wants a piece of shit. Srs, we are all screwed. A version 2.0 of last seasons Illyasova. That’s all i gotta say JB ma man, u da best!! Keep postin!

Sanders is a punk! Thanks again man!

having a hard time imagining Meeks not producing. The guy handles the rock well and plays multiple positions. I am above average in steals and threes, plus his FT shooting is a plus. It is hard to tell at what point to just right him off as a victim of time share. I like his ability to possibly play the three spot at times if Monroe or Smith is shipped out but I have only heard rumors. Do you know if Meeks has played the SF position before and if you had to stash someone over the two (Mcdaniels or Meeks) who do you prefer ???

@Eric Echales: I feel like he did in LA but a lot of that was running combo 2/3 with Nick Young. Technically got 2 starts at F last year… I think that’s his biggest upside, is after a trade, but I hate banking on trades. I’d rather have McDaniels over Meeks, past that it’s tough to know without who’s out there. I’m turning the corner on Marcus SMart, but then again that’s banking on a trade too haha

Do I drop Lou Williams for Rasual Butler while everyone’s not looking his way? He may catch attention pretty soon.

@LOLER: Nahhhh, I’d rather Sweet Lou. His ups are much better while both’s downs are about the same
