    Hi Guys,

Gary Harris is available in my league, shuld I drop Barton for him? H2H, 9 Cat, 12 Teams

    My Team:
G: Harden, DeRozan, McCollum, Kilpatrick, Rose, Barton
    F: Ilyasova, Booker, Henson
C: Howard, Adams, Pau Gasol, Zeller

@Shahed: I sure hope you’re picking up Harris instead of reading this comment!

    • giantsFTW says:
      (link)

@Shahed: I know what Slim will tell you 😀

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Shahed: Yep I think that 24ish minutes from Barton is what we can expect moving forward. Fine for a deeper, not enough for a 12er. Run don’t walk.

  2. Lasandro says:
    (link)

@Slim you HAVE to be feelin good right now. Harris looked like a monster but I had no one to drop him for in my 10er. 12er? Dropped D’Angelo for him hahaha! Yeah yeah, prob not the best move ROS but whatever. Needed the efficiency, while maintaining 3s and D. Assists I’m good with.

4/5 of the Denver starters looking damn near must-own everywhere right now. And I own none of them. Stupid Malone and his preseason gushing over playing Nurk and Jok together..

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Lasandro: Harris won’t be a slouch in the assist department either. Yeah 6 per game is too high but with Mudiay being nearly incapable of playing PG somewhere in the 4ish range is completely reasonable and he should do it with a stellar ast:TO ratio. I’m not feeling too good though with Nurkic losing all his minutes, yes he hasn’t been good but I absolutely blame it on Jokic’s inability to play PF. And Juancho didn’t get off the bench. I’m actually less excited to watch Denver right now but whatever I guess I just have a different reason to that’s all.

        JB Gilpin says:

        @Lasandro: @Slim: I still think I woulda said keep D’Angelo, you didn’t have a better drop in a 12er?!

      • Lasandro says:
        (link)

@Jb gilpin: honestly, I did. But I’m not a fan of the kid’s game and don’t enjoy watching him. I can get board with Harris and dropping Sergio if his assists trend down if Simmons returns to PHI. Us Sri Lankan Aussies are so passionate man!

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Lasandro: Hah I hear ya, and yeah get Harris for White chocolate!

          • Slim

            Slim says:
            (link)

@JB Gilpin: Losing Sergio is tough… With Bayless done there isn’t any competition for playing time at the point, yes Simmons might take some assists later on but he won’t play the PG position, kinda like Giannis, or maybe Simmons never comes back ala Embiid last year. I don’t know it’s just a tough drop, he definitely has value and it’s looking to be season long at this point.

          • Lasandro says:
            (link)

@slim @jb gilpin: hence why I dropped Russell for Harris. I need the volume dimes and ok stls and 3s combo from Sergio. And I like gary more than dangelo’s brown sugar. I know D is a bit of a brand name but I really don’t need his stats and inefficiency on my squad..
            Meh

            • JB Gilpin

              JB Gilpin says:

@Slim: @Lasandro: Still no other cuts in a 12er though?!

  3. giantsFTW says:

Did Slim just pick 9th ranked Jimmy Buckets for the 30point challenge? Gonna go with ma boy Gordon Hayward against the Mavs.

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@giantsFTW: oops. yeah I didn’t have the list up. I’ll switch it up to Wall. It’s a solid matchup.

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@giantsFTW: @Slim: No Slim was right, i think Buckets was 11 when we recorded. Curry was def 10th, and with only 8 pts last night, fell out. And maybe Kawhi fell out with only 18? I dunno, Buckets was 11 or 12 when we recorded. Slim, still want Wall, or wanna stay Buckets?

  4. Lasandro says:
    (link)

@JB Gilpin: “Hot COQs!” Tobias would love to join such an acting troupe. Homie? He don’t play dat.

Oh man, that KOQ v JaMychal didn’t work out all too well in that funky game against GSW, BUT 5/7 with a stl in 15min is pretty hot. Should fare better against DEN. Haha I was just thinkin how KOQ contributes a little like Nurk did off the bench last season – per minute bohemoth. And now they’ll both be versing each other off the bench. That’ll be fun to watch!

That was MEEEE who picked Goose in the last challenge! Gimme RJax trying to prove his worth against Wall!

You havent finished Westworld?? How the hell haven’t you been spoiled!?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Lasandro: Haha Hot KOQs! I might still with KOQ> Nurk right now, as weird as that is. Hah yeah I got you scored now! Just was behind haha.

I’m good at avoiding spoilers! All my web traffic is on sports sites haha

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Niko-Cola Kevin: Turns out he’s #9, but I think this may be because Curry had that dud last night. I figured this might come up with the 1 day delay. I’ll let JB figure it out. Go ahead and hit a provisional… I’m playing way too much golf…

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Niko-Cola Kevin: @Slim: Buckets is 100% allowed, was some shuffling in the top-10 based on weird games last night

        • Slim

          Slim says:

@JB Gilpin: Yeah I’ll keep Jimmy.

@Slim: Harris, Ingram or Barton in a Lakers-only league?

  7. Toni Vidal Ribes says:

    Hi Slim!

Westbrook + Nurkic + Tobias + Covington (I don´t have him in my roster but I have his rights)
    x
    Lebron + Griffin + Teleto + Barea
    What would you do?

    My team is:
    G: Curry/Westbrook/Bledsoe/E. Gordon/Kilpatrick
    F: Tobias/Parsons/Valentine/Ibaka
    C: Dieng/Chandler/Kanter/O`Quinn/Henson/Nurkic

    Dinasty – Roto – 12er – 11cat

    Thanks

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Toni Vidal Ribes: Dunno what Slim would do, but I think I would hold. Westbrook>Bron, Griffin is best secondary piece, but it’s a lot of junk on that side and you have youth and upside.

      • Toni Vidal Ribes says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:

Sorry JB! I send it and I can´t edit it. Apologies!!!

How Jon Bon Jovi said, must I “Keep the faith” in Nurkic, Henson, Dieng & Kilpatrick?
And about Tobias… It´s difficult to me to think than he could be better than he is. Will bring some D-stats someday?

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Toni Vidal Ribes: Damn you can’t take down a proposed offer? hmmm that’s weird. Well it’s just soooo much youth, and Dieng has been fine! Love Kilpratick, Henson could flourish more if Monroe moves, Nurk is like 21… And Harris is mad young too, agree not much more upside, but something to be said for young n steady

          • Toni Vidal Ribes says:
            (link)

            @JB Gilpin:
Then… if it wasn´t a dinasty league, it would be good for me. But I lost too much for the future. Is it?

            • JB Gilpin

              JB Gilpin says:
              (link)

@Toni Vidal Ribes: I think in redraft its a lot closer and prob would do it

  8. Nukna says:

@JB Gilpin: This is the matchup of the night. Remember Wall getting annoyed that Reggie was getting paid the same amount he was? Yeah a little extra effort from both tonight.

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Slim: Wall comes off a little whiny in pressers sometimes…

        • Lasandro says:
          (link)

@Jb gilpin @slim: between he and dmc, it woulda been kinda annoying watching those Kentucky boys whine their way to wins. Yeah I think both PGs are gonna go hard but I think rjax is coming up trumps in the 30pt challenge

          • JB Gilpin

            JB Gilpin says:
            (link)

@Lasandro: Hah yeah that would be a pretty whiny team. Add Carlos Boozer as a coach, and it might cause a rift in time and space. RJax sounds good!

  11. miles proudfoot says:
    (link)

Are you good dropping Henson or Plumlee for Harris? I know the answer is Plumlee, but he’s been on a mini tear and the fg% is pretty good.

    • miles proudfoot says:
      (link)

      @miles proudfoot: actually, I think it’s henson…

      • Slim

        Slim says:
        (link)

@miles proudfoot: Yeah I think it’s Henson too. I just wish Plumlee would quit getting fouled. If he was just a 70% FT shooter he’d be a monster in fantasy.

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@miles proudfoot: @Slim: Yup Henson can go. Love Plum’s dimes!

          • miles proudfoot says:
            (link)

@JB Gilpin: if you don’t mind, one more curve…Harris or kilpatrick? Thanks!

            • Slim

              Slim says:
              (link)

@miles proudfoot: I find this to be pretty easy. I don’t like what Kilpat is doing. Way too many TOs, too few dstats, usually a FG% drain, higher volume FT% is all he’s got on Gary, maybe a point or 2 also I recon, but that doesn’t overtake all those negatives.

              • JB Gilpin

                JB Gilpin says:
                (link)

@miles proudfoot: @Slim: Man I like Kilpatrick… I think it depends a little on build – need D stats and more wing stability? Harris. Need more scoring and FT volume? Kilpat. Kilpat should get more 3s too I’d think…

                • miles proudfoot says:
                  (link)

@JB Gilpin: great stuff to consider, thank you!

                    (link)

@miles proudfoot: Also I think LeVert gets more run as the year progresses and it’s got to eat into Kilpats.

                    • JB Gilpin

                      JB Gilpin says:
                      (link)

@miles proudfoot: @Slim: Why would they stop developing Kilpatrick?!

                    • Slim

                      Slim says:
                      (link)

@Slim: He’s 26 and I think at his ceiling. Maybe he can shoot a better % someday but the defense won’t get any better. It’s a good story and on a playoff team he could be a 20 minute bench scorer. LaVert is a much better athlete, 22, and their 1st round pick.

    • Slim

      Slim says:

      @Michael: preseason I was…
      .465/.820/1.7/14.0/3.3/2.1/1.5/0.3/1.4 :32
I’ll add about another point, reb, and assist. Maybe tick up TO a smidge. so…
      .465/.820/1.7/15.0/4.1/3.2/1.5/0.3/1.6 :32
I think this is the floor for minutes, could definitely go higher and prorate accordingly.

      JB Gilpin says:

@Michael: Like him now that he was healthy! I thought stashing him with no IL in shallower leagues was a wasted spot, but holding him in IL was great. I think he’ll be like top 80ish and a nice wing at the back end, not huge upside. Def don’t think he does last nights line all yr haha

        JB Gilpin says:

Not the best highlight reel, they don’t show his assists, but the alleyoop from Jokic was nasty.

Chip on their shoulder guys. At least that’s what it means for me. As a UF fan I always wanted to avoid them, and yes Mateen Cleaves as a senior beat UF in the Championship game. Mike Miller, Udonis, Bonner, they were legit.

The penalty for picking someone in the top 10 should be you now have to pick a 76er. Force some people to hope they can really stretch their EMBIIIIID production. That will teach them.

Put me down for Giannis getting 30.

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Dusty: Apparently Butler wasn’t top 10 at the time we recorded. I don’t know if I’d take Embiid, might roll the dice with Covington right now.

Giannis was on my list but I guess I got a little scared away by his ankle. But yeah I guess that’s fine after the line he put up last night.

    Hey Guys,

I am in a ROTO, 9 Cat, 12 Teams league,

    My Stats: FG%-1, FT%-9, 3PTM-10.5, PTS-10, REB-11, AST-12, ST-11, BLK-1, TO-1

    My Team:
G: Walker, Wall, Batum, Jackson, Gordon, Collison, Beverley
    F: Hayward, Porzingis, Harkless, Ilyasova,
    C: Horford, C Zeller

I traded away Westbrook, Marvin Williams and Taj Gibson for Kemba, Gordon and Porzingis,

Firstly was that a good trade? And secondly, I need blocks, I have been offered Pau, what do you think of him, he has less minutes and games right, is he still fantasy relevant? And who should I trade for him?

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Shahed: Yeah that’s a solid trade. Esp in Roto where Westbrook is almost at Dwight Howard levels. Yeah we need to find more blocks. Pau is ok in Roto, I don’t mind the missed games as much since there’s no risk of a 2-game playoff week like in H2H. You can definitely afford to lose a PG. Not Wall, Not Kemba for sure. I’d try Reggie. I like Collison for the help in FG% and TOs so I’m a bit less inclined to move him and I think you added quite a few points with your trade.

        • Shahed says:
          (link)

          @JB Gilpin:
Thanks, I haven’t watched much Spurs so wasn’t sure on Pau, his FT% seems to be down too. Anyway the guy rejected R Jax, is it worth offering Beverley or Collison? He also has Capela and Plumlee, but I don’t like the FT% for them. He has Millsap and Whiteside too so is keen to trade a Big for a Guard. Or do you think I should go for Embiid or RoLo, I think I may be able to get them for RJax.

            JB Gilpin says:
            (link)

@Shahed: Sure, I would start with beverley + maybe a throw in. Embbid’s TO still scare me. RJax seems steep for Rolo, but maybe see if he has a big man sweetener at the back of his roster and it would work

would you trade Bledso(3rd round) for A.Bradley(8th round) in a 12 team 9 catg standard league with 5 keepers. Im 3rd in my league so i plan to go for it this year, but Bradley at 8th round value which i can keep for 7th round next years seems like a good deal.

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Game of Zones: I get it but I’m going NO. Just win, I think Bradley is a solid sell high guy right now. If I were a betting man I’d bet he regresses closer to the mean. Bledsoe is doing exactly as planned and is no slouch in any of the stats Bradley is good at.

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Game of Zones: @Slim: I think it’s close. Bradley in the 7th next year is nice, but by 2018 will he be a 6th? Yeah I think I’m holding too

Would you drop Nurkic, Henson, TJones for him?

    • Slim

Drop Murray for oubre in dynasty? I’ve got harkless and Lou will I could drop too, but they’re doing too well to drop this year and my team is rolling

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Nick: Eeeeeesh. I’d hold Murray. I know Harkless is a tough drop but the offense has tailed off and Oubre has a ton of upside. I think I do that in a league I’m sure I’m going to keep him.

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Nick: @Slim: Yup Harkless was my call too. Sucks to lose him, but Oubre has too much upside

        • Nick says:
          (link)

          @JB Gilpin:
Oh wow! I was not expecting that, harkless has been so good! His value has been in the percentages, 3 & D. Our league is only 12 team and 13 on the roster. Does that change things at all? Hmmm I’m left with a tough decision now

          • JB Gilpin

            JB Gilpin says:
            (link)

@Nick: It’s just the dynasty aspect and the upside, I mean Harkless is def at his peak, Crabbe is playing fine and Evan Turner is playing better…

              Slim says:
              (link)

@JB Gilpin: Yeah this may be a little more of a question of do you play for now or play for next year. The concussion for Oubre hurts.

shout outs to Ip man! Slim, definitely need to take some time to watch the first Ip man. Great movie. I feel like that franchise went the same way as the Fast and Furious franchise: start with a realistic fighting/racing movie, then slowly devolve to crazy cars flying over helicopters and Donnie Yen fighting Mike Tyson.

Anyways, give me kemba for 30 tonight!

    JB,

In a 12 team league, I am first in blocks and I just traded JV for Eric Gordan (I still have Brow, Dieng, The Process, and Okafor). Should I drop Henson for Oubre who was dropped a couple days ago? Chriss and Aaron Gordan are also available.

    What do you think?

    Thanks

    Dick

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:

@TheFantasyDick: Hola dick! Damn, solid blocks! Roto or H2H? Ehhhh, this one is so hard, I like all 4! I think I would add Gordon again, just because he won’t last another night if he’s good tonight

        TheFantasyDick says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:

I gave up JV and I’m getting Gordon. Deng is also available. So drop Henson for Aaron Gordan you think? Oubre’s upside not as good with Morris coming back?

        Thanks!

@TheFantasyDick: Sorry, last one: I have Jamichael Green too I could drop over Henson, but I like Green, my bench also has Parson, Josh Richardson, Justice Winslow and Barea…Henson is the one to drop in my opinion since I’m solid in blocks. Just making sure you have all the info. Aaron Gordan is on waivers till tomorrow, so I can see how he plays tonight. Oubre too

      • TheFantasyDick says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:
        Jb,

Ok, gonna drop Henson for Gordon in that league (if I don’t get gordon, should I drop Henson for Chriss?)..in another league where I do need blocks, would you drop henson or finney-smith for Chriss?

        Thanks

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@TheFantasyDick: Yeah I think Aaron Gordon would be my guy over Henson with good blks. Looked pretty good last night. Is Barea in an IL? If he’s burning a roster spot I might not be holding him. In that other league, yup you can lose Finney Smith for Chriss

  25. Doctor G says:
    (link)

Ahh I’m kinda rooting against this one because my opponent this week has him, but sign me up for John Wall for 30! How would you rank the following players in terms of ROS in a 12 team H2H 9 catter? Got a few open roster spots now from the 3 for 1 trade for Giannis so don’t mind taking a few fliers. Already picked up Oubre, just love his game and going off a hunch here. The players are Oubre, Chriss, Sergio, Knight, JRich, Tyreke, Elf, Delly. I own Oubre Reke and Elf. Was thinking of trading a PG (Reke, Lin, or Elf) for a big Cus I only have one centre on my roster and then replacing that PG with Sergio and/or Knight/Delly. Thanks man!!

    • Doctor G says:
      (link)

@Doctor G: sorry forgot a few names. Wires looking kind of deepish. JR Smith, Marvin, Smart, Deng. Haha that’s a lot of names I know, my bad. You don’t have to rank them all but if you can give me a general idea of who to add/drop that would be great!

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Doctor G: That is alot of names for a 12er. With a big as a need Chriss is the only one on the list but it’s definitely still a flier. The potential is huge though. Oubre is in the same boat I guess but I don’t think he has Chriss’ upside because Chriss adds blocks. Elfrid I trust most but Sergio has some nice stability with Bayless done. I don’t know where to put Tyreke though, he’s let me down way too many times. I’d have trouble letting JRich sit there. Smart is tough with Isaiah back but that’s fine since we’re already through 3.

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Doctor G: @Slim: Damn Wall was sooooo close! Hah yeah that’s a lot of names. Yeah sounds like you need a big, I like Chriss and Sergio for you. I’d rather take the shot on Knight or JRich over Reke too

        • Doctor G says:

    • Slim

      Slim says:

  27. miles proudfoot says:
    (link)

I’m double dipping today. Planning on dropping Henson instead of Plumlee for Gary Harris, but actually wondering instead of Henson is the stop Illyasova…is Henson in a vacuum the weakest, or does it depend on if I’d rather keep points/3s vs blocks? Thank you!

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@miles proudfoot: Yeah very much need based. Ilyasova is fine for what he does. Henson is fine for what he does.

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@miles proudfoot: @Slim: Yup, I would say blocks are harder to find/stream vs. pts/3s so I would value Henson more. Obviously if you have good blocks, he could go

Drop nurk for chriss, monta, oubre, biyombo, mkg, brandon knight, or bazemore? (rank them too if you can)

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Rock: I’m rolling the dice on Chriss. If 30 minutes continues he won’t be available for long. Monta doesn’t have any upside left in him. Barely top100 looks like a ceiling. Oubre is probably 2nd for me. I know Bazemore can have big games but if Oubre breaks out I want stock in it.

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Rock: @Slim: Ugh I mean these are impossible to rank, all could fit certain builds. What needs do you have? LIke FT punt, I would take Biyombo, Chriss might indeed be the best all around plus upside

Any way Gary temple keeps this up?

    Chriss > Finney-Smith?
    Chriss > Henson?

(In a 12 team roto league where I need everything but points and assists and turnovers don’t count)

    Thanks guys!

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@TheFantasyDick: Over DFS fo sure. Not saying he’ll definitely be better but with equal minutes (the current case) Chriss has WAYYYY more upside. Yeah over Henson too for sure if the 30 minute role continues, Chriss is no slouch on the shotblocking front. If Chriss doesn’t stick and only gets 20ish minutes then I’ll take Henson but it doesn’t look like Henson will ever see 30 minutes and Chriss just did twice in a row. I think Chriss is the best upside gamble this year and could give rookie Goose types of lines, with more boards and a bit fewer blocks.

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Marshall: @Slim: Yup from me too!

    • Lasandro says:
      (link)

@JB Gilpin @Slim: More so than Willy’s upside? Man he looks legit! Hate that O’Quinn is suffering but Willy is taking the reigns in a similar role to Chriss’

      • Slim

        Slim says:
        (link)

@Lasandro: I don’t think we can trust Willy. Yeah he looks legit but OQuinn could have a good night and Willy might not even get off the bench. Looking solid in a dynasty though huh, wink wink nudge nudge. If I trusted Willy for 25 minutes per night then we’d be looking at maybe a double double with a smidge more than a block, 2 good percents, with a bit of contribution in assists. He’s even fixed his TO yipes he had earlier. There could be something here but it’s really tough to trust.

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Lasandro: @Slim: Yeah but even Chriss has been maddeningly up and down and at least starts so we know he’s getting off the bench for a little haha.

    Hey man,

I’m in a standard 12 team 9 Cat ROTO league, I need to drop someone to activate Isaiah Thomas.

G: Wall, McCollum, Teague, Batum, Matthews, Gary Harris, D’angelo, Lin
    F: Gay
    C: Drummond, Jordan, Howard, Capela

    My stats: FG% 12, FT% 1, 3PTS 6, PTS 12, REB 12, AST 10, ST 12, BLK 12, TO 1

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Shahed: Wow tough to win with the punt FT but nice job. Killer everywhere else. It would be nice to bring those TOS up if possible but can’t lose any assists or 3s. This is really hard. I think your best bet is to try for a 2-fer-1 with a focus on improving 3s and TOs without losing too many assists.

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Shahed: @Slim: Damn, so many 12s! Yeah you don’t have any good drops at all. I would focus on an urgent 2 for 1. Batum I think is a good trade for you due to low FG%. And I like selling Lin right now. Those two for whatever low TO source you can find. Tobias Harris?

        • Shahed says:
          (link)

          @JB Gilpin:

        (link)

@JB Gilpin: That was a crazy blowout but yeah DellaV is getting tough to hang onto in a 12er. Probably just a streamer, although a pretty good one considering the assists.

        • Johnc says:
          (link)

          @Slim
: I held on to him for one more week. My opponent has tons of boards and blocks if AD plays. So kept the assist file open. Jennings, Chris’s, Willy, Henson, Faried the most interesting names on the wire. Despite his shooting woes, Jennings is interesting give Rose’s issues.

I have an open IR slot…stash Barea, Waiters (crowded), Sully??

          • Slim

            Slim says:
            (link)

@Johnc: Yeah Jennings has been solid for NY. Chriss is tops on that list for me. Faried has played well nbut Malone hates him.

Umm… Sully’s injury is too serious, he’ll be really slow coming back. Waiters is crowded but I don’t think Barea goes back to 30 minutes a night. But if he does he’d be tops. Sure I’m fine with Barea, I’m not a fan of what Waiters does to both percents and TOs.

              (link)

@Johnc: @Slim: I’m a little late catching up, but I like Henson for pure BLK need, then would gamble on Chriss for another game or two for all around. Waiters I would stash now that Barea is back, just cut him

Thoughts on Garrett Temple while Rudy Gay is out? Would be dropping Aminu, who can’t seem to stay healthy.

@Zinger: Looks solid, taking alot more shots. Solid 3-and-D guy. Aminu has too much competition these days.

@Game of Zones: @Slim: Yeah it’s 3s vs more consistent scoring, I would prob take Wes

How would you rank Winslow, Richardson, Thebo and TJones? Thanks!

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@miles proudfoot: Thabo is last for sure. Winslow is tough with the 2 poor percents and TOs but I he should lead the group in minutes and most counting stats. TJones is probably next while Richardson is playing so passively. But once Richardson gets his legs back under him he should pass Jones, vs Winslow should be neck and neck at that point.

    JB,

Thanks for the help. I got Aaron Gordon on waivers for Henson and I grabbed Chris for finney-smith in the leage I needed blocks (also in the league, where I need boards and blocks and I’m 2nd to last in FG% I traded Westbrook for anthony davis…I know risky, but westy killing my fg% and I’m 1st in assists with good guards and Blake and Marc gasol as assisting bigs). What do you think? I’m in 8th place so wanted to mix things up

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@TheFantasyDick: Yeah not bad, obviously you added a shizz ton more upside with a hit to assists, but I’m not sure you lose out in any other categories.

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@TheFantasyDick: @Slim: Yeah Brow is riskier, but yeah with good dimes it works! Aaron Gordon. Ugh. I mean I think you kinda had to off the monster game, but I might move on again there

  42. Dante Green says:

Jesus, what a time to have a bad week. You know you’re having one when Hayward scores 13, McCollum 10, and Schroder 12 (Hah Nowadays, Schroder scoring 12 is considered a bad game. He’s changed! Haha). Jesus. And add to that the fact that I’m in a 4-game disadvantage this week. What a bummer

I asked my friend if he wants to trade his Knight for my Miles, he said he’s interested. I know Knight is lost in PHX but I’ll give him a try for a week (if my friend truly accepts my offer).

My next move is to drop Nurkic. I’m looking for a PF/C and I think these players would suffice: Aaron Gordon (Lol)
    Mah boy Marquese Chriss
    Dwight Powell
    Nogueira
DJ Agustin (if don’t get Knight, I would try and sign a pg instead)

Waiver wire will run later and I hope Nog stays on the wire, because I’ve used my only move for the week. My next chance to sign someone is on Wednesday. Wish me luck

    • Slim

      Slim says:
      (link)

@Dante Green: Yeah I’m feeling it too, half my REL team had their worst week of the year, and I’m in a game disadvantage too. I’ll be lucky to squeeze out a 5-4 win.

Yeah Chriss is an amazing gamble. I like that, then Gordon, then Powell v Nog is a bit roster dependant. DJ is so hit or miss. I’d stay away if at all possible.

JB doesn’t seem to agree but CJ Miles to me is a streamer in a 12er at best. Knight too at this point but I think there’s a better chance Knight gets traded and plays more than there is CJ goes over 22-24 min per game. You could make an argument that right this second it’s need dependant since both are playing about 20-22 minutes a night.

        @Slim:

Huge loss for me, 2-7. My opponent’s main guys are Wall, Cousins, Beal, and DeRozan, man I’m telling you he’s last in our standings and hasn’t won a match up until this very week, and it was friggin against me. His guys all went HAM on me, and my players played like shit. Smh

Gordon is gone, so I would go for Chriss! And I like that he’s a Sun bcoz I’m a #SunLifer myself. Hah

Yea, I think the trade should be fair, only Knight is more recognized because of his name. Lol I’ll just be banking on the hope that he gets traded sooner rather than later! Thanks bud, would make the offer right now.

        @Slim:

Forgot to tell ya, an owner just dropped JaMychal Green. I will try and outbid everyone just to get him

        • Slim

          Slim says:
          (link)

@Dante Green: I almost droped JaMychal but I held on, I think I like the Chriss gamble a little more than JaMychal. JaMychal doesn’t have the upside but he’ll be better to the percents I imagine. I could probably make a case for either.

I lost 4-5. Lost Points and rebounds by about a dozen a piece. I’m just glad it stayed close on me.

            (link)

@Dante Green: @Slim: I liked Chriss of those too, and yeah i like the upside gamble there over JMike too. Slim losing Nurk and Juancho at the same time sucks, but his squad is really scary

Hi guys, need advice and opinions. I feel like i need another rebounder PF or C

    G-Lowry, Dragic, Bev, LouWill, GHarris
    F-Giannis,Hayward,Gay,Harkless,JRich
    C-Gobert,Turner,Horford
    IL-Tyreke

Should i try the following trades:
    1. Dragic for Jokic
    2. Dragic for Gortat
    3. Dragic for Dieng
    4. Lou for Jokic
    5. Lou for Gortat
    6. Lou for Dieng
    7. Hayward + Lou for Jimmy Butler
    8. Dragic for Blake Griffin
    9. Dragic + Lou for Millsap
    10. Dragic + Lou for Love

Trying to unload some Guards in 2for1 to free up a streamer and activate Reke. Also need another PF/C eligible player.

    • Tyler says:

      @Tyler: 11. Lou for Dipo?

        Yes’s -> 1,2,4,5,6,7,9,10, 11 Obviously hope you didn’t do the Blake one 🙂

So Gay just got the Inj tag in yahoo.
Should I swap Gay to IL and activate Reke?
Was planning to keep reke in IL for a month while he is recovering but now contemplating on activating him so i can add and drop players.

If i activate reke, im thinkin on dropping jrich for nick young or speights with the griffin news and my teams lack of PF/C.

      Current lineup btw:
      G-Lowry, Dragic, Bev, LouWill, GHarris

      C-Gobert,Turner,Horford
      IL-Tyreke

@Tyler: Barea is also still available

        • Slim

          Slim says:
          (link)

@Tyler: I would do… 1, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10. I let Josh Richardson go in a 12er, he just doesn’t look as aggressive as he was last year. I still think it’ll happen but he needs a good yelling at by Spo.

The IL swap won’t hurt ya, might as well.

I added Speights in a couple of 12ers but I’m not sure it’s such a good move, I don’t watch much Clippers but apparently Speights barely plays next to Jordan.

I don’t think Barea goes back to 30 minutes. He’ll be good if he does but I think he’s a 22-24 minute guy like his whole career.

          • Tyler says:
            (link)

@Slim: Thanks Slim! Think Jokic is worth giving up Dragic for? Can I take the hit in assists?

            • Tyler says:
              (link)

@Tyler: also, would you be worried taking Love and hin resting during fantasy playoffs?

              • Tyler says:
                (link)

@Tyler: oh yeah marquese chriss is also available. You think he’s a better stash than jrich? I do need an extra PF

                • Slim

                  Slim says:
                  (link)

@Tyler: Yeah the loss in assists is kind of minimal, and Gordon+Giannis is solid out of position assists. The real loss is in scoring but you seem fine there.

There’s some concern with Love sitting but it will only be 1 game at most.

Yeah Chriss has significantly more upside but the minutes are no guarantee, but he has the potential to finish the year in the top 50. Richardson doesn’t have that amount of potential, he tops out at maybe top75, maybe.

@Tyler: @Slim: Yeah Barea is blah to me too. I’m iffy on Speights, but they’re about to tip tonight, so I’ll be monitoring for tomo daily notes.
