Whoa, it’s already December!  We bring in the final month of 2016 with a look at the big headlines across the NBA including Mike Conley getting hurt, go through some waiver wire PG options to fill in the void, and go over the other key injury updates from the past few days.  We then conclude the week with a look at tonight’s games and our 30-point challenge picks, a reminder to hop in the Razzball Fantasy Movie League (join through this link, password “rball”) as the Winter Season begins this weekend, and finally a look at what we’re watching these days.

Such a shame that these pods come out after the latest round of games.. Woulda been nice to see what y’all thought of Harrison and them Griz. I’ll tell you what: I’m holding JaMychal for as long as he’s hovering at the 30min per mark. That dude’s engine is stupi! Crashes the boards, tries to block and steal everything . Hits FTs. Love him in reality and as long as they’re all injured, love him in fantasy too. Those O brds are going down well in my 14 cat L.

Lin has probably been and will be the worst roto-own this entire season. “Evaluated in two weeks” has somehow turned into “still out after a month with no timetable and no actual update on his injury. Oh, and he went through a hard 40min workout the week before”. About as confusing as the Taiwanese language.

I’m THIS close to dropping Lin, which I know would come back to bite me in the ass. Parsons, D’Angelo and Okafor (Brown saying that he wants to play he and Embiid together in the next one)available on the wire. I picked up Evans yesterday following the broadcasters stating that they heard that he’ll be returning on Fri (so strange that none of the Rotoworld crew picked this up – guess they don’t actually watch the games?). Gentry said the other day that they’ll have a good idea on his return on Wednesday, which I belive is TODAY in the US. Here’s hoping there’s an update. If not, he’s an obvious drop candidate. But yes, y’all are high on Parsons but when the hell is he actually coming back? And you saw how ridiculously limited his mins were when he returned.. D’Angelo should be evaluated early next week..

I think Lopez and Giannis are gonna have nice nights, but I gotta keep riding that Kembaaaa-well against that tough Deron D. Lets do dis!

So i snagged DJA per your advice but was wondering if i should drop him for jamychal or 2pat. Seems more mid term-ish.

Current team:

G-Lowry,Dragic,PBev,LouWill
F-Giannis,Hayward,Gay,Harkless,Kaminsky
C-Gobert,MylesTurner,Ibaka
IL-Tyreke,GaryHarris

Deciding my last roster spot between Jamychal, Patterson or Augustin (Elfrid with ankle inj)

I want to go back to the well, but give me BroLo for 30! Josh Richardson still a hold? Miami just can’t have a healthy wing

@Connor: I came real close to dropping JRich in an RCL, but he got INJ and Reggie is really close so I’m hoping to just swap em out.

Haha JB you definitely jinxed it not going back to Kemba… I’m gonna try again with LBJ tonight, that’s gonna be a great game with both teams salty coming off tough Tuesday losses.

Was offered Myles and the 7 foot Enes for my Millsap – I’m taking that, right? You guys good with a Tony Parker drop? Andrew Harrison, JaMychal, Joe Johnson and JRich are the other options. The Grizz are just so depleted, JJ will get a boost with no Hood, and I’m still waiting for that JRich breakout once he’s healthy

@JB Gilpin: Right?? So weird.

Aight, any target recommendations for Millsap then? I’m nervous all the little sore thises and thats every now and then are gonna turn into a few missed weeks at some point, and I’ve been disappointed with the dip in FG% and Dwight sucked up all his blocks…

Oops, sorry if I wasn’t clear – I own all those guys (just grabbed Harrison on weekly waivers this morning), was just trying to figure out who to drop if I did the deal!

hey I’m tied for the lead in the commenter section too! Gonna catch up to you two tonight…I was tempted to go with Giannis again against the Brooklyn Nyets (shout outs to prokhorov), but I just feel like Klay might be the one to go off in that Houston/Golden State matchup tonight. I’ll take him for 30!

Waiver wire question: in a 12 man 9 cat, are any of the following worth picking up/stashing? Parsons, Marv Williams, Josh Richardson. I have a punt FT, maybe punt points lineup right now…

Guards: Curry, Dragic, Rubio, Pbev, Korver
Forwards: Wes Matthews, Thaddeus, Warren, Winslow
Centers: DJordan, Drumm, Nurk, Capela

Pbev or Korver seem like the drop candidates right now, but they fit my team well. Would you drop either/both for any of the three on the wire?

Thanks guys!

Sean Kilpatrick for 30 again if he’s allowed to keep chucking like Tuesday. Might as well swing for the fence.
