    1. My favors ibaka Porzi for AD Hayward? Feels like too much

    2. My dragic for kmid? Or ride it out w goran

    3. Should I be looking to move ibaka or favors? Is favors dragic for Teague derozan giving up too much?

@Hamtime: 1. Nah I like that one, soooo much upside to you. 2. If no AST need sure 3. Yeah I’d prob wanna keep Favors, I still think they’re at solid values right now, rather move Ibaka since I think he can bring a tad more back

      • TheJohn says:

@JB Gilpin: u rate ibaka higher than favor?

          (link)

@TheJohn: I think I’d take Favors, but I was saying I think Ibaka could get more in a trade, never know your league – some lean more on career-history, others on smaller samples

@JB Gilpin: more upside with the AD/Hayward side? Wow.

    Hi JB,

Unfortunately experiencing the TJones dilemma in my 14teamer.
Wires pretty barren, but Jeff Green is on waivers.

Worth a shot, or hold strong on TJones?

    14 Team (11 CAT w/ FGM + FTM)
    Lillard, Teague, Collison
    IT, RJax
    Mirotic, TJones, Bazemore
    Griffin, Porzingis
    Hibbert, Kanter, MLeonard

I noticed you guys didn’t really touch on DMo returning in the podcast. No concerns about him putting another dent in Jones’ value?

    Thanks!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@J: Yeah it’s been annoying.. I think I’m holding over Green. Well last update is “hoping to return to practice” and he’s a big man with back issues, too far off the horizon right now

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:

@TheJohn: Nah I don’t think so, prefer losing Kemba to Hayward, but I like either way

Would you drop anyone for Jokic or Stanley Johnson? Also, who do you think I should use for a stream spot if needed?

    Thanks!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@booya: He has a lot of supporters, but I would nab StanJo for Leonard. Then JR is next one out to stream if needed. Any time!

      • booya says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Maybe I could dump JR for StanJo and hold Leonard for a little longer to see what happens there?

        • booya says:
          (link)

@booya: Actually Charlie just recommended dropping Collison over on the message board on his post. I can’t say I disagree with his logic on Collison. Leaning towards dumping Collison for StanJo…do you think that’s inadvisable?

          • JB Gilpin

            JB Gilpin says:
            (link)

@booya: I like Collison I think a little more than he does, especially ROS with the chance Rondo gets moved still. I’d much rather lose Meyers

Is Wall a sell-while-he-still-has-name-value candidate? Or are we holding because we’re confident the turnaround is coming? The crazy high TOs, even for Wall, I could sort of ignore and just punt the cat at worst, but the shooting woes and the drop in assists is beginning to seriously worry me that he’s in the midst of a bust year.

Keep the faith or listen to offers? I’m not saying I’d sell him for a pack of hot dogs, even Nathan’s, but if we’re losing faith in him, it may be time to pursue other options while others still believe.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Joe: I am pretty confident it will turn around, all of the Wiz are in a funk. I have to imagine they get better. If you got a decent value, maybe lik .85-.90 cents on the dollar and it fit a need, I’d be good with it

      • Joe says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:

Ironically, my need is at PG and in particular assists. So the only way I sell Wall is if either Wall + someone gets me a better PG like a CP3, or if Wall + someone(s) gets me a top flight big like Millsap plus a mid-tier PG (like R-Jax).

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Joe: Yup that would be the only way to move him IMO.

    Harden, Dipo, Hayward, Kemba
Tyreke, Joe Johnson, Otto, Bazemore, Rondae-Hollis, Matt Barnes
    Porzingis, Al Jeff, Jval, Mahinmi

MCW clears waivers tonight, is he worth a #1 waiver on? If so, who’s the drop, leaning towards Rondae-Hollis or Matt Barnes?

Also, I proposed a trade on Hayward for IT2, I need 3s and assists, is it a fair trade?

    Thanks!!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Good STUFF: I’m not a big waiver-holder kinda guy and yeah you could use a PG, I’m good with that claim losing Barnes. I’d still take Hayward, MCW will help AST coming in, at least when he’s playing…

      • Good STUFF says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Yeah, I figured holding waiver isn’t really worth it either.

I’m considering offering my Hayward, Al Jeff, Otto, for his Marc, Wes Matthews, and Affalo or Aaron Gordon. He has an open IL spot, mine has Jval in it. What do you think?

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:

    (link)

Hi there JB. I have an offer on the table, his danilo and jeff green for my dragic and markieff…this is a 14 team league, nothing on the wire atm. Should I pull the trigger? Im thinking of trading my draymond for lowry if I do the trade for gallo since id have to many sf-pf

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Sebastian: Well I think Dray could get more, I love Gallinari but I kinda wanna hold off on that trade, I think Dragic and Kieff get better

  7. Sebastian says:
    (link)

Now i have an offer of lillard for my draymond and gobert..? Too much ?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:

      @Sebastian: Yeah that’s a lot of depth to give up in a 14er, I’m holding off…

  8. RJ says:
    (link)

Thoughts on these trades in h2h? The wiggins side is who I’m giving up. 2 and 3 are more just me worrying about injuries from CP and brow, but would love to hear your opinion.

    1) wiggins and marc gasol for jackson and middleton?

    2) wiggins and marc gasol for CP3 and hood (or KCP)?

    3) wiggins and marc gasol for brow ?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@RJ: Gotcha, 1 – Nah too little 2 – mehhh, dire PG need mayyyyybe, but doubtful 3 – this is the only one I’d do

  9. JG

    Kw says:
    (link)

Have both TJones and Markief on my roster. Getting tired of both really. I also have KD. Does trading Markief for Kanter make sense? I’m inclined to take it just because it’s a natural hedge for a KD injury and at least Kanter doesn’t hurt my FG.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Kw: Yeah definitely makes sense, I just still see Kieff doing more as the season wears on… I’d try and ride out Kieff

  10. Would you trade Anthony Davis and Elfrid/ABurks FOR Lebron/JButler and Kyrie? Keep in mind I am in an 11 cat league (FTM &FGM). The rest of my team is currently (pre-trade):
    – Strong in FT%, Stls
    – Weak in Blks, Reb, FG%
    – Everything else could go either way

Right now I am 2nd in the League and this deal is aimed at making me more of a threat to the #1 guy. Should I make it?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Ebonzieb: So you’re weak in REB and BLK with Brow? I think given those needs and Kyrie’s healthy I’d hold off, especially getting two Cavs with DNP risk late in season

      • Surprisingly yes! I have AD and KAT…but my other bigs are RoLo, Nurkic, Aaron Gordon, Marcus Morris and Bjelicia. I have been last in the League in Rebounds every weak.

I am not actually weak in blocks, I’m actually 2nd in the league. But by comparison to the #1 team I’m trash. He beat me 67-37 last week. Our two teams are far and away the top overall squads of the league. Barring injury, we’ll meet in the playoffs.

But his team has DeAndre, Whiteside, Porzingis, Plumlee and KD. I can’t touch him in Reb or Blks, so I’ve basically given up on the categories. Trying to build up the categories where I have a chance. Does that make sense? Is it too soon for this strategy?

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Ebonzieb: Ugh yeah, no one helping other than you’re big two. Oh yeah, sometimes a fluke matchup can make you reassess a strong cat haha.

Yeah in 11 cat, definitely like trying to build up where I can. So I get the idea of punting and losing Brow, but that’s just too much risk getting two Cavs for me

  12. Dante Green says:
    (link)

I have a dream, that Tjones gets his shit together sooner rather than later. Hah. Imagine if Howard misses time, Capela gets the starting C gig, and Tjones takes back his starting PF role, both plays 32mpg, with averages of 14/11/1/3 and 15/8/1/1.5/1.5. I mean I already have a formidable frontcourt headed by Favors and Gobert! Damn

So I just noticed that Stanjo in his past two games suddenly plays a good amount of minutes, how is that? Am I missing something here? If given the minutes the kid can contribute in steals, 3s, points and boards. Would you advice to grab him if he cracks another 30minute game?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Dante Green: Hah good dream to have! And a likely one with Dwight’s history… They like going small, him to SF, M Morris to PF for a more dynamic lineup, especially on D. He flashed a few big min games early so I’m not 100% back in, but he’s closer

      • Dante Green says:
        (link)

        @JB Gilpin:
Did our boy Wiggins miss a potentially tying freethrow that could’ve sent the game to overtime? Cos I was only looking at the stats and the score was like 92-94, his FT was 7-9 then the score moved, 93-94 and his FT went 8-11. Hah

Agordon just played 13 mins but still manages to block twice….. But this low minutes I think is the indication that I’ll probably need to move on…. I wish I could ride this Agordon train with you until the very end, you know I’d love that but Skiles is a scumbag and I don’t think I still have enough patience left… 13 fcuking minutes….. FU Skiles….

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Dante Green: Uggghhhhh yeah I was watching the game, he did. Made the first, missed the second. Then with 4 secs left they gave him the ball to try and tie it down 3, and he got blocked, I think it mighta been by Gordon! Can’t remember…

Skiles is fantasy’s worst nightmare, he kinda looks like a supervillain too…

  13. Trul says:

Good stuff as usual guys. Just asked Dan this in his post but wanted to get another opinion: Should i trade my griffin for PG13? Its h2h 9 cat and I could use the 3s and stls. Thanks for the input!

Here’s what the team looks like:

    PG: paul, hill, collison
    SG: jr.smith, dragic, matthews
    SF: dray green,thad young, crowder
    PF: griffin, markieff morris
    C: drummond, whiteside

    • JB Gilpin

@Jerry: Man that’s a tough one, if it’s a bench spot you’re rarelyl playing in weekly I like Collison, if you’re punting FG% Canaan, overall might go Crowder

This is what he does and he’s feeling it right now, averaging 23.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, a steal, a block and a 3-pointer on 46 percent shooting over his lats five games. Nice.

The guy has McCollum and DeAndre on the same team, might be one of the worst pairings I’ve seen. He’s at .370 and .576 for the week. @Slim: Thanks.

        It’s Actually a 16-team..

These are my weakest links.. Aaron Gordon, Terrence Jones, Meyers Leonard, Chalmers and Dellevedova. TJones is frustrating.. I feel like Gordon has a high upside.. Delly will be droppable soon.. Chalmers is eh-ish.. i.d.k.

But if one of the guys on the previous waiver list can provide more value into the fantasy playoffs, then i’d wanna jump on them right away..

Guy want Batum straight up for Bosh.
I love bosh and i could use a big but im worried about my assists (Paul/Dray carry me with help from Batum/Wade/Monroe) im probably 2nd best in assists right now. This is my team

    Dragic

I’m trying to wrap my head around the fact that I will live the next 4-6 weeks of my life without Gobert. I’m still trying to stay positive given the fact that I’m sitting at 11th place ( just when my team is starting to turn things around), bcoz I believe that 6th spot is still within reach. However, I do need to make an amazing pickup. Would Tbooker be that guy? If so, I would need to drop one of these guys: Colly or Capela. Thanks brotha

@Dante Green: Ughgghghghg yeah rough one… Nah I don’t think Booker will bring enough, he’s better stretching the floor next to Gobert than next to Favors. I’m still holding your guys

Without running the risk of sounding crazy… would you ever consider dropping Nerlens for Jerami?

@Jay: Not crazy given how things have gone, but nah I would hold Noel. Any other drops for Grant?

@JB Gilpin: Probably not since I’m 5-0 so far and first in our league (although I’m probably taking an L this week due to lack of games). Used to be top 2 or 3 and blocks and they’ve since fallen off largely because of Nerlens.

        Here’s my team in 10 man, 10 cat (standard + OREB) H2H.

        Damian Lillard
        James Harden
        Thaddeus Young
        Paul Millsap
        Karl-Anthony Towns
        Mike Conley
        Tyreke Evans
        Jarrett Jack
Andrew Wiggins (lot of points, little of anything else… smh)
        Zaza Pachulia
        Nerlens Noel
        Tony Parker
        Ian Mahinmi

Only real glaring deficiency is threes (which I’m basically punting anyways unless Dame + Harden go off), TOs obviously, and blocks now that KAT and Nerlens have games where they don’t block anything.

@Jay: Top 2 or 3 in*** blocks. Myyyyy bad.

@Jay: Yeah that’s a mad solid team. I think at 5-0, it makes more sense to stash Noel since you’re not in desperate need of wins right now
