So on draft day today I made a trade in my dynasty league to make way to keep a few players

Batum, Gallo and Okafor for Whiteside. I was feeling decent about it, not amazing but decent.

Right as that’s happening though…FRICKEN OLADIPO GOES TO THE USAGE BLACK HOLE OF OKC. I’ve felt quite depressed since. Please tell me there’s some hope, any hope at all!

Also, do you think Jamal Murray has any value next season? I got him as my second rookie after Ben Simmons.

@Nick: I think Oladipo might be OK in OKC. FG% should go up, TOs should come down, but so will scoring… top of my head I’ll go with a line of

      .450/.830/1.6/14.0/4.5/3.5/1.7/0.7/1.8 :32min

The overall value might actually be higher, but there’s probably going to be a few more duds than he had in Orlando given they won’t need him when he’s struggling.

Yeah I think Murray will have value next year, esp at the end of the year. Denver isn’t going to win too many games and they will eventually let him play and see what they’ve got. Hard to get too excited with his lack of D-stats but the upside in the O-stats is still immense.

@Nick: @Slim: I’m trying to find something to pick apart with those numbers, but I can’t. I’ve never been a big Oladipo believer as a perimeter guy, but he’s gonna get ton of open looks outside with Westbrook driving and Durant’s usage. Mayyyybe the FG% I think will be lower – yes more open looks, but probably more jumpers and 3pta.

Denver also picked that Beasley dude, just to have even more wings. What is this team trying to do, move to Buffalo?! Bada bing… I still think I would take Ingram and Hield and maybe one or two more, I don’t like their clogged wing mix.

Excellent calls on the Could have been Porn Stars there JB, Thon at #10 to the Bucks, aka the all limbs no bulk team, and Georgios Papagiannis #13!!!! to the Kings that and the Skal pick at #28….did Vlade look at the 76ers frontcourt and say I want the discount version of that. Boogie tweeted out a Lord give me strength tonight so they just need to resign Rondo and ……enjoy your 2016-2017 Sacramento Kings anyone that is still a fan.

As a Raptor fan I would also like to take this opportunity continue the annual complain about our draft pick tradition…Jakob….are you kidding me there were so many pfs still on the board..are trying for Al Horford in free agency cause thats the only way that pick makes any sense to me. Jakob seems like a much worse version of Jonas from a few years ago and we’ve seen how much Casey hates to play the current Jonas…

ps. my deep sleeper was so deep he didn’t even get drafted but did get signed to a deal right after the draft on a team that gives him an actual shot at being a valuable fantasy player in deep leagues in the next few years so wooo REL stash.

@Foreign Affairs: Hah thanks man! Crazy that both went lotto… Hah yeah that Cousins tweet… Awesome.

Yeah I was surprised they went Poetato too. I guess they want Bismack-lite right away. I think they want big defensive body off the bench.

Oh nice! I have a few sleepers now for sure. Can’t wait for the REL to come back!

Please tell me the Dragan pick was what’s best for my Suns.

@Dante Green: Yup I liked it! Hope is obviously he can be Porzingis-ish and getting him and Chriss was a great night for you guys, I was impressed!

        @JB Gilpin:

Jeez I wasn’t giving Chriss much attention but I decided to watch some of his videos on youtube just a while ago, and damn! The kid could be something. Yea, just like what you said in your new post, we’re gonna have to wait 2-3 years! Ugh I hope the waiting game is worth it with those two rookie bigs. I mean we’re like 6 years without a playoff appearance!

I just hope they trade Tyson Chandler for a sack of potatoes. Man, let’s play these young guns tons of minutes!!

@Dante Green: Yeah man, he’s a very interesting prospect! Hah yeah might be another year or two, but if they retain those guards and the bigs pan out, watch out!

I know this isn’t related but I’m thinking of making some minor plays in dynasty.

Some underrated guys that might go for cheap I’m thinking about are lavine, mirotic and porter. I’m targeting 3 & d.

Where would you rank those guys in redraft and in dynasty? Thanks a bunch!

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Nick: It’s all related! I’ll probably go Mirotic, Lavine, Porter. Now if Beal ends up signing somewhere else, Porter might go to the top. That’s my ranks for redraft. Long-term I’ll go Lavine, Miro, Porter

    Hi boys!

What do you think about Ibaka in Orlando?

    Thanks

@Toni Vidal Ribes: And Jordan Clarkson? Without Kobe and with Ingram… better?

      • JB Gilpin

        JB Gilpin says:
        (link)

@Toni Vidal Ribes: Hey man! Ummm, it’s a good spot, sucks for Aaron Gordon. Probably low boards stil, FG% likely low, but will hit 3s probably at a career pace and get some blocks, it’s actually pretty solid. Ummmm, I really liked Clarkson last year and he was just OK. About the same, maybe rank him 75ish
