@Scott: Ehhh probably wouldn’t at all, sure the playoff sched is rough, maybe the first week of the playoffs you could gambel doing it but I wouldnt want to help anyone before then

Hey JB/Slim, any idea what’s going on with Early? Is he injured or did the Knicks just forget they have players that aren’t on 10 day contracts?

He missed the England game with no word of injury, then missed the next two with talk of an injury. Then of course he played 4 minutes in a game and proceeded to miss the next two without any word. Is the ankle still an issue and nobody cares enough to talk about it?

@A Hill O’ Beans: Never mind, there was an Early sighting tonight. Not sure why the Knicks don’t give him some run though, unless they still think they’ve got a shot at the playoffs.

@A Hill O’ Beans: Yeah brief sighting, I guess Lance Thomas and Amundson playing well on their short contracts are giving them long auditions, I expect Early to get PT down the road.

@JB Gilpin: Yeah, looks like they’re signing Amundson for the rest of the year too. Hooray! I meam, what tanking team doesn’t need to add a 32 year old who’s been in the league for 10 yrs and never averaged over 5 ppg.

That’s how you do it Knicks. That’s how you do it.

@A Hill O’ Beans: Phil Jackson watched Moneyball too many times this offseason. “We have to think outside of the box” Not this far outside!

    1. dropped brandan wright and picked up mirotic based on the news that he’s back in the starting lineup. Is this temporary, or do you think he will usurp gross dunleavy?

    2. with the vaughn news, is o’quinn a better stash than mirotic? or should i pick up shabazz napier again? gross..

@hamtime: 1. Ugggghhhhh sorry man. Tibs was not happy at Mirotic’s utter lack of D. Although not like I like Wright. I would move on again. 2. Yup! Gimme O’Quinn!

Hi JB, a desperate owner fighting for the last playoff spot dropped Wade. He is too good to be dropped and I have waiver #5. But the thing is FT and TO are 2 of the categories that I want to win, and Wade will drag them down. What would you do? Or should I try to pick him up first, then trade him later? Thanks for the advice.

@Wen: Can’t blame him for dropping Wade. I think he’s worth that #5 waiver and see what happens. If you can afford to stash and then trade him it’s a big win, and I don’t think he’d hurt ya too bad if you’re stuck with him
