This is not for the fantasy faint of heart. This is the Razzball Commenter League Weekly Recap. In Fantasy Terms, This. Is. Sparta!!! This is a to-the-death battle of fantasy prowess on display. This is the article when we document the evolution of greatness. The separation of the men from the boys, right from the beginning. So, without further ado:

JB’s Random Commenter LeagueEven the league name is scary, penned from the creative genius that is our fearless Editor. Greatness Personified. His team, JB Gilpin (c’mon, save some of that character slam-dunking for your articles, JB!) however, was not great, going 3-6, and currently sits 9th. The team in the lead, both in points and in glorious team name is Baby Got Back, going a sexy 8-1 in week one.

All Country Ball Club. A fine league name for a dandy league. And Wrongsideof30 was on the right side the battle, leading this group of elbow sharpened gritty warriors with a score of 7-2. I’m looking forward to following this league, some great team names in there, like High as Greg Kite, and #hashtagsaredumb. Gold, Jerry, Gold!

JB’s Random Commenter League 2I know. The man just keeps on giving, but don’t worry, fans, JB has more creative juice where that came from. And speaking of juice, Mamba Juice leads this league after week 1 by a score of  8-1. The talk of this league, in this writer’s opinion, is the dude who think’s he’s Prince, and just put an emoji of a face giving us the double flip off as his name.

Razzball League 3 the Ringers. Beeeenga rocked the Ringers with a dominant 7-2 week one performance. And as you informed readers know, Benga is a style of African music to come out of Kenya, combining local instruments and a lively arrangement of guitars, base and vocals. Makes sense to yell it after a victory, like Arenas would yell: Hibachi!

Razzball Hardwood Classic. In this bloody arena, one team emerged victorious. And, as his name suggests, he did not emerge without sustaining damage. He is: Beasley’s Knees, dropping all opponents (well, technically just one so far) with a 8-1 performance.

The Double Bonus Fan LeagueMan, commish TBD Doug had a tough first week falling to 1-8, with the Draft Dodgers taking him down and leading the standings at 8-1.

That’s all for week one. As the action picks up , so will the articles. And should anyone be interested in joining a late Razzball Commenter League, please say so in the response section, I will set one up, to draft in the next week, and be up and running by week 3.
