For those of you following my Nikola Vucevic saga (for some reason), I was able to reclaim him off waivers. It took $5 of my $11 waiver wire dollars, but it was worth it, as I found out I beat out at least one other claim. By the way, waiver wire dollars are the greatest. I like being able to bid dollars for a player rather than hoping my waiver priority is higher than some other jerk’s. I think I may implement it for the RCLs next year. Any the friggin’ way,Grabbed 16 rebounds, including 7 offensive, plus 6 points and 2 blocks. It’s puzzling why a guy eligible at PF/C who is averaging 10.2/8.6/1.6 with 1.3 blocks is still available in 40% of Yahoo leagues, although maybe 11% are really shallow and 29% have already been abandoned. Yes, I know I just led with him a few days ago, but freakin’ add this guy already! By the way, in the last week, the stats are up to 11.3/9.5/2.0 and 2.0.

Carmelo Anthony – Scored 20 points in the first half, then went cold in the second, dove into the stands, cut his finger, and got stitches. He may not play the next game. Overall, he went for 23 points (3-7 from deep), 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and a block.

Tyson Chandler – If I typed out 8/9, would you think that was points/rebounds? Well, probably not now, because it’s clear I’m setting up a situation that isn’t what it seems. Anyway, those are actually his offensive and defensive rebound splits. He finished with 17 total (in case you can’t add), plus 18 points, 2 assists, a steal and a block. He is having his best season in 4 years.

J.R. Smith – Did any of you see that movie Frozen that was released 2 years ago? Apparently Smith saw it on TV, because he was ice cold from behind the arc, where he missed 8 of 9 shots. He did, however, hit the game winning shot, and finished with 13 points, 4 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks.

Jason Kidd – He returned and produced 7 points (2-3 from deep), 2 boards, an assist, 2 steals and a whopping 3 blocks.

Gerald Henderson – He played 25 minutes and finished with 18 points, 6 rebounds and a block.

Jeff Taylor – In 39 1/2 minutes, he finished with this line: 6/3/3. I could do that, and I get winded running up a flight of stairs.

Nicolas Batum – Give the man a lede on Razzball and he goes ahead and follows up with 5 points, 0 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal.

Luke Babbitt – The Portland bench had 6 players who saw time, and they finished with 13 points total. Babbitt had 5 of those points, plus 5 rebounds.

Paul George – There’s a lot of chatter in comments about Paul George. Not sure why anyone is trying to move him. Last night, he went for 22 points (4 threes), 8 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal.

Roy Hibbert – He finished with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks but only made 3-13 from the floor and lowered his FG% to .383. J.F.C., dude.

Josh Howard – 12 points, 3 steals, 0 rebounds, 0 assists. Da hoy?!

Nikola Pekovic – Little Nikki (it’s a joke, see, because he weighs 290 lbs) went for 14 points, 9 rebounds, an assist and a steal.

Alexy Shved – After his lede yesterday, he finished with 11/2/2/2. Huh, move over SI Cover Curse.

Brandon Bass – In addition to blocking 3 shots, he pulled down 8 rebounds, stole 2 and dished out 1 dime. He also makes a very comfortable dress shoe.

Rajon Rondo – He returned to action and picked up where he left off, minus the shoving: 17 points, 11 assists, 1 rebound, 1 steals and 5 turnovers.

Klay Thompson – Led his team with a season high 27 points, including 5 of 8 from downtown, and threw in a handful of other stats, including 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and a block.

Jarrett Jack – Missed all 5 three point attempts to finish with 8 points, 4 assists, and a steal.

Carl Landy – Led Golden State bench players with 25 1/2 minutes, but only managed 7 points, 4 rebounds and a block.

Kyle Singler – In 32 minutes, 3 points, 3 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals. Ya used me, Singler, ya used me! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9B-r3ASxdck

Andre Drummond – Andre the Giant (the living one) grabbed 12 rebounds, shot for 15 points, threw in a steal and swatted away 2 blocks.

Andre Iguodala – He had less points (5), rebounds (4), assists (4) and steals (1) than turnovers (7).

Ty Lawson – Earned himself 32 juicy points (5-5 from downtown), 7 assists, 5 steals and a rebound.

Zaza Pachulia – His 11/7 and a block is what we would like every night from him, but he has proven pretty inconsistent and underwhelming. He’s would be a typical 7 ‘n’ 7 except he fell an inch short of 7 feet, too.

Lou Williams – Gotta love 16 points, 6 assists, 2 steals and a block. The single rebound is negligible but acceptable.

Joakim Noah – He went for the Double Double and a Half with 13 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. He also tossed in 2 blocks and a takeaway.

Nate Robinson – Only played 13 1/2 minutes and finished with 6/2/3. He has played less than 15 minutes in 3 of the last 5 days, because hey, who really needs a good waiver wire grab to bolster their team?

Donald Sloan – Led the Cavs with 14 points…say what? Who? Donald Sloan? HE led the team? I…I feel sick.

Kobe Bryant – Scored 30,000 points. Not in one night, but over the course of 1,180 games. Last night, specifically, he went for 29/5/4 with a “nicely done” 3 steals. It’s important to realize this is an elite player and we all have the privilege to watch him, even if he is an (alleged) rapist.

Pau Gasol – Has knee problems, so he did not play, and who knows what his role will be when he returns. Like a posterior hole, Kobe called Pau out to the press and basically deemed him a whiner and told him to act like a man, which always works.

Antawn Jamison – Saw 26 1/2 minutes in Pau’s absence and produced 15/4 with a steal.

Chris Duhon – Started and managed 10 assists, 5 steals, and 3 points. He averaged 1 shot attempt per 11 minutes.

Al-Farouq Aminu – Only 6 points but still had 10 rebounds.

Austin Rivers – He took up 21 1/2 minutes of court time for 1 points, 1 board, 3 assists and a steal. This is why I wouldn’t mind seeing a minor leagues for the NBA…oh, wait, maybe STAY IN SCHOOL AND LEARN TO PLAY. At the rate he’s playing, he’s going to need a degree to fall back on.

Ersan Ilyasova – He was 2nd on the team wih 17 points (as a bench player), but he only had 5 rebounds in 30 minutes. That’s E.I.: his love is real, but his stats are not.

Larry Sanders – Lar, what’s with the 4 points? Goaltending the other team doesn’t count.

Tony Parker – He had 22 points, 10 assists and 7 turnovers. He usually doesn’t have 7 turnovers. It’s a season high, in fact.

Matt Bonner – He led his team with 12 rebounds, which makes sense as he has averaged 16 all season. What’s that? 1.6? Oh.

Derrick Favors – Out due to Plantar Fasciitis. Mr. Peanut was not available for comment.

Al Jefferson – Hey, why not talk about him? He went 31/15/2 with a steal.

Ed Davis – He has been putting up some decent numbers for deeper leagues recently. Last night, he had 13 pints, 11 rebounds and a block. He’s had a block in 5 straight games, plus at least 6 rebounds in 6 games. Eh, like I said, deeper leagues.

Andrea Bargnani – The original 7 ‘n’ 7 lived up to his status with 8 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and a block. He also missed all 6 of his three point attempts, just in case he didn’t screw you over enough.

DeMarcus Cousins – He produced 25/13/1 with a block. It’s the most points since November 16th. Let’s clone December 5th and let him duplicate that line for the rest of the season.

John Salmons – He had a nice line of 12 points 2 rebounds, 7 assists and a block. It’s his first block since the first two games of the season, but they say that Salmon(s) have strong olfactory memory.

Jamal Crawford – Off the bench, he led the team with 31 minutes and 20 points (3-6 from behind the arc). He also had 4 assists, a steal and a board.

DeAndre Jordan – The 12 points are okay, but the 4 rebouds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block are a little meh.

Chris Paul – He’s kinda okay: 14 points, 13 assists, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Shawn Marion – So, 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. What do you think? Rosterable with a season average of 9.2/7.4? 14 team leagues? Yes. 12 team leagues? I dunno. You tell me. No, I’ll you – I would pass.

Chris Kaman – No one on the Mavs had double digit rebounds, so despite his Marion-esque 14/6/1, I would still want Kaman over Marion just because of the better looking 13.6/6.9 numbers.

Vince Carter – Led his team in points (16) and rebounds (7). That is Vinsane. Anyway, forget Dallas. Vince may be on the tail end of his career, he is still seeing a nice bounce back over his output last season. So, may as well Vindulge in Carter.
