I think you're low on Cousins. I don't think there's any way he shoots .430 again (.500+ in college after all), and it's also one of those accepted hoops trends that players with high Ast and high TOs tend to normalize on the TO side as they mature. That doesn't mean that Cousins isn't going to turn the ball over like a fat kid eating smarties, but I think the smartie consumption tails off a little from last season. Actually, I think you need to look at his developement there more like a guard than a big, at which point the rookie TOs and Ast numbers actually look like a good thing (developmentally speaking).

He's still going to foul a lot, turn the ball over a lot, etc., etc., etc., Also, as a side note, I'm not convinced that JUST losing weight is a good thing. Cousins wasn't chunky last season. If Eddy Curry loses weight, cool. But I remember Roy Hibbert getting applause for losing significant pounds last offseason and he ended up looking and playing weak last year. Bosh gaining significant muscle this season is fine, but that's different than losing weight. Just a thought.

I just got asked to join an auction league and having never done one for bball, what should my strategy be in these settings: only start one pg, sg, c, sf, and pf. Five man bench. 10 team roto. 66 game limits per position. How would allocate spending (I'm assuming dump all money into starting 5 cuz with the condensed schedule Ill seldom be swapping players out). Any guys in particular you'd spend big on in this format?

Is Hickson's prescence really enough to lower DMC that much? I know Hickson likes to shoot (not literally), but Dalembert was doing a lot of that last year, and Cousins still had a strong 2nd half. I think the addition of Hayes and subtraction of Dalembert will actually help Cousins' offensively. And word on the street is he lost some weight and has a better attitude. Then again, what player doesn't "lose weight and have a better attitude" during the preseason, haha. Anyways, just thought your prediction was a little low for Boogie, but great stuff as always. I am excited to get the season started!
