Enticed By Cousins

I think it’s obvious that I am big on Demarcus Cousins. Looking back, I should have ranked him #1. No, not above LeBron James (who had 20 points and 5 assists, FYI) for this season. I meant #1 all time. Better than Jordan, Magic or Chamberlain.

Rudy Gay Makes You Happy, Not Bicurious

The big man came through with 28/9/4, a steal and 2 threes. Although, I guess 99% of NBA players are big men, so it’s a good thing I didn’t make you guess who had that line. It was Rudy Gay  all the way!

Hudson Floods Fantasy Stats

LeBron who? There’s a new star in Cleveland, and his name rhymes with molester. However, don’t keep your children away from Lester Hudson. As a reserve on Tuesday, he played more minutes than anyone else on the team and looked great doing so.

A-Toll’s For Bea’

Anthony Tolliver, Derrick Williams, Wayne Ellington are your adds (in order) for every day Michael Beasley is out and maybe even some of the days he’s in. Because even when he’s in, he’s kind of out. I don’t like recommending these three guys, but the playoffs are upon us and people have holes to fill.

Most fantasy writers, when they sit down, ultimately write about dragons. Most fantasy sports writers start their articles with the important news. What I tend to do is find the person I wrote the most about and lead with that. It’s just who I am!

Outside the NBA Lockout disappearing 16 games and the remaining 66 games being stacked on top of one another as efficiently as a Hell’s Kitchen slum, Ricky Rubio‘s injury strikes me as the saddest turn of the season. Just as the Thunder went from terrible to terrific in three seasons, it appears the same thing is happening in Minnesota.

Rondo Or Rondon’t: There Is No Try

Rajon Rondo might have tweaked his ankle yesterday. I mean, he definitely tweaked it, but this is the Celtics we’re talking about and I’m not entirely sure he didn’t TV tweak it. When he was taken to the locker room in the second quarter, Paul Pierce could be overheard shouting, “that’s my boy.

New York Stickershockers

Okay, I give up. I’m flabbergasted by what’s going on in New York. Just like the last rave I attended in which everyone wore furry animal suits, I don’t get it, it scares me, but here we are and I’m going to roll with it as best I can.

Panning For Golden Nuggets

February 9, 2012 | Fantasy Basketball Daily Notes | 56 Comments

Leading up to last night’s game, it was fairly unclear who would make up for Danilo Gallinari‘s minutes, or if not minutes, his production. If Corey Brewer can go 16/5/3 in 7 mpg, God bless him. But he can’t, so the Nuggets are a game of Clue, right now.
