Adieu Ginobili

It’s time to start calculating whether eight weeks of the best free agent left in your league pool is better than five weeks of Manu Ginobili, ’cause that looks to be the sitch, mes amis. That’s assuming those five weeks are top-notch Manu and I’m not getting that kind of vibe.

New York Stickershockers

Okay, I give up. I’m flabbergasted by what’s going on in New York. Just like the last rave I attended in which everyone wore furry animal suits, I don’t get it, it scares me, but here we are and I’m going to roll with it as best I can.

Nate Rob Set To Regulate

Monta Ellis played 32 minutes. The rest was spent nursing his broke-ass face that became broke after Anderson Varejao elbowed it into a million pieces. It was heinous. I puked a little. Babies were crying in the distance. Grandma said a prayer.

Keep An Ayon Gustavo

I’m just gonna say this, and then I’m gonna stand by it: I’m almost positive that whenever anyone thinks of the Gustavos of the NBA, Gustavo Ayon‘s name will be mentioned. Sit on that, Potsie. 8/5/2, with 2 stl and 2 blk as Monty Williams has been leaving some slack in the leash for this guy in the last three games.

Redd-Led Redemption

Boston, Dallas, Memphis and the Lakers share one win amongst themselves and 10 losses. So understand me when I tell you that everything – absolutely everything – written here is a complete guess. So it goes when you’re watching basketball as messy as this.

Top 20 Centers, 2010 Fantasy Basketball

We’ve got a bit of a Good News / Bad News situation. The Bad News is that the NBA regular season is finished, and with it, your fantasy team – rendering all your strategery as useless as a neck full of Mardi Gras beads in March.

The Guard Situation In Jersey Now Farmar Confusing Than Before

March 30, 2011 | Fantasy Basketball Daily Notes | 4 Comments

Jordan Farmar played, at least in the beginning. He ended with a sorta solid 12/4/7, with four threes line, but Avery Johnson’s egg timer went off and he realized he hadn’t gotten pissed at Jordan Farmar at all yet this season. Farmar played poor defense.

Delonte’s Inferno

Delonte West started in place of Rajon Rondo‘s nagging pinky injury. Or is it pinkie? Does it matter? You know what I mean either way. I could have typed “pinkee” and you would have accepted it. But that’s poor spelling and you ought not let me get away with lazy writing.

The Ky’s And Low’s Of A Houston Reserve

Who knew that Kevin Martin would drain 34 points and sink a perfect 18-for-18 from the line and he wouldn’t even have the most impressive line on his own team? Kyle Lowry triple-doubled in his first career game last night (28/10/11, with three treys and three steals) and has come on this season like gangbusters.

Pierced Through The Heart, And Paul’s To Blame

Paul Pierce played almost 40 minutes and went 0-for-10 from the field, and 1-for-2 from the line. Forty minutes, bro!?! I get that sometimes players have off nights, but half his shots were from behind the line. Scoot up and maybe make a shot, huh, Paul?
