Hudson Floods Fantasy Stats

LeBron who? There’s a new star in Cleveland, and his name rhymes with molester. However, don’t keep your children away from Lester Hudson. As a reserve on Tuesday, he played more minutes than anyone else on the team and looked great doing so.

Groan Granger

Danny Granger didn’t score his first two points until 7:16 in the second quarter. By the time he sank his first shot he had already bricked seven – four of which were from downtown – and I had long ago hurled my plate full of Hot Pockets at my TV.

Sometimes things can get a little snarky here at Razzball. Sometimes? Well, yeah, Italics Baldwin. Sometimes. Uh, and ‘a little snarky’? Just a tad, yeah. What of it? Razzfall? No. You simply misread that one. I clearly typed it Razzball. Bifocal-up, son.

I watched two games last night. The first being the D.C.-Sacramento open gym scrimmage. The second being the L.A.-Cleveland Globetrotters fiasco. Last night, according to those two games, the NBA died. Too bad mi amigos. I mean, really, if you watched either of those games and thought, “Yeah.

The big news from the weekend is that Glen Davis damn near triple-doubled on Sunday against the Raptors. Wait, that was the XXL news from the weekend. Sorry. I keep my news sizes as confusing as movie theater popcorn sizes. Wait, the medium is the smallest size you can order?

Harrington Dislocates From Denver

At this point, any news involving anyone on the Nuggets can be considered Carmelo news. It’s ‘Melo’s galaxy, everyone else is just orbiting in it, baby! That includes Al Harrington, who left in the first quarter with what was described as a dislocated thumb.

Go Wes, Young Man

Old men should also ‘go Wes.’ Or young women. Or old women. Just kidding. Old women don’t want anything to do with fantasy sports. But the point is that anyone who does do fantasy basketball should have already grabbed Wes Matthews after his game-winning 30-point, .579-shooting night.

When Pace Cars Ride Like Race Cars

The Pacers scored 54 points in the third quarter after going 20-for-21 from the floor. They were 20-for-20 until Josh McRoberts heaved a lazy three with four seconds remaining (why was Doc McRoberts shooting a three? Oy!). I mention McRoberts’ heave because his 2/10/4 line isn’t enough to get him mentioned otherwise.

Better To Perform The Hinrich Maneuver Sooner Than Later

Assume for a moment Gilbert Arenas is Eric Stoltz’s “Back to the Future” footage. It exists and has potential, but ultimately, it’s just not gonna happen, man. Kirk Hinrich is Michael J. Fox. He’s there. He’s inexpensive. He can do the job without having to carry the entire franchise.

Yao To Have Less Traditional Foot Binding This Season

Houston GM Daryl Morey buzzkilled on Monday saying that despite Yao Ming’s current healthy feet, the plan this season will be to limit his minutes and perhaps have him rest his dogs in the second half of back-to-back games. Buzz?
