Most fantasy writers, when they sit down, ultimately write about dragons. Most fantasy sports writers start their articles with the important news. What I tend to do is find the person I wrote the most about and lead with that. It’s just who I am!
Please, blog, may I have some more?Mo Williams
I thought about naming this post “The Buck Swaps Here,” but then I realized that no one cares about the Bucks. Which means that Monta Ellis is dead to the NBA fan. It was a nice run. We all shared some laughs and we’ll remember the good times.
Please, blog, may I have some more?I may never forgive Corey Maggette for being just good enough that, when he plays 10 minutes and leaves the game with back spasms, I have to mention it. He knows how much I hate mentioning Bobcats! So here it is.
Please, blog, may I have some more? Before we get going, I just want to take a moment to thank Grey and Adam for giving me this opportunity to contribute to the site. This is my first post for Razzball and if you enjoy what I bring, and want to stick a feather in my fedora, then go ahead and do so in the comments.
Please, blog, may I have some more?J-Smoove (or Joove to his friends and accountants) had 30 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists. Which brings up a good question: was he close to a triple-double? Seven dimes is pretty outstanding, but getting three more would have been the equivalent of scoring about 10-12 more points.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Jeremy Lin started over Iman Shumpert again, which suggests three things: 1) Shumpert is still very, very raw and not ready to lead this team anywhere but downward. 2) Baron Davis will be used when he returns. Oh, yes. He will be quite used.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Chris Paul sat out his fifth game yesterday. That, along with Caron Butler‘s recent tweak, paved the way for Mo Williams to get his minutes up. It’s all I can do not to mention Williams’ 77 points and eight three-pointers in his last three games, except that I just mentioned it.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Let’s just get it out of the way now: I don’t follow college basketball. Every year, a new line of freshman enter the league and I think, “It would really be helpful if I knew anything about these guys.” Then a squirrel passes outside my window or a dust particle hitting the sunlight catches my eye and I’ve already forgotten what I was just thinking about.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Ha! We beat the NBA in handing out awards. This way, if any of our awards coincide with the Association’s awards, I’ll be able to claim the league as a loyal Razzball reader when I solicit companies to advertise on the site. Yes, I know the voting for those awards ended weeks ago, but did you know that the voting for these awards ended weeks ago?
Please, blog, may I have some more?Three months ago, the Charlotte Bobcats were an aimless team with two underwhelming fantasy options (Gerald Wallace and Stephen Jackson), a slight surprise late-round draft pick (D.J. Augustin), and a long-shot stud that, again, has underwhelmed (Tyrus Thomas).
