We looked at the top 20 shooting guards for 2010 on Monday. Today? The 20 best fantasy swingmen (“fantasy swingmen” sounds naughty) from the year that was. You know the deal, here’s my preseason Top 20 Small Forwards for 2010.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Luol Deng
Danny Granger didn’t score his first two points until 7:16 in the second quarter. By the time he sank his first shot he had already bricked seven – four of which were from downtown – and I had long ago hurled my plate full of Hot Pockets at my TV.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Derrick Rose scored a career-high 39 points on October 30, the second game of the season. Fifty-two games later, he bested his career-high by three, scoring 42 in a huge win over the team with the best record in the NBA last night.

Please, blog, may I have some more?Minnesota’s Darko Milicic has a 3.6 PER and an ORtg of 58 despite averaging nearly 23 minutes per game to start the season. I honestly didn’t know either of those statistics could get that low. I thought I could walk out onto a pro court wearing a sumo suit and ice skates and earn better than a 3.6 PER.
Please, blog, may I have some more? The 2010 fantasy basketball rankings just-a keep on rollin’ with the top 20 small forwards for 2010 fantasy basketball. The small forward position is tricky and the one you want to navigate with the thickest of rubber fisherman boots. The top of this list is stronger than any of the other four positions, but the drop-off after the first 11 is steep.
