As I mentioned the past couple weeks, every Wednesday I will release tiers for G/F/C in rotating fashion. Here’s the original tiers, updated Guard tiers, and last week’s Forward tiers. Starting next week, I’ll split this into a morning and afternoon post (morning for recap and afternoon for tiers) to better explain the movement taking place. As always, if you disagree with the tiers then go f*ck yourself. BUT FIRST, the recap of last night’s games:
Nene Hilario – Nope, the Wizards did not play last night but he will return TONIGHT! We’ll see how much playing time he gets, but he is the most offensively-talented big man on the Wizards’ roster. If you own Kevin Seraphin, this is probably the time to drop him if you haven’t already.

My favorite thing in basketball, besides a bunch of other stuff, is the triple double. It should come as no surprise that Kobe Bryant had one. The future Hall of Famer scored 22 points, grabbed 11 boards, and handed out 11 dimes.

Please, blog, may I have some more?The NBA had its second triple double of the year, and it was earned by Jose Calderon. He scored 13 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds. He has been averaging a whopping 1.0 rebound per game, so this was a wee bit of a surprise.
Please, blog, may I have some more?With significant court time of 34 minutes (he had previously been averaging a mere 22:30 MPG), Kris Humphries scored 14 points, 21 rebounds (6 offensive and 15 defensive) and 1 block. I think Kris will have a very productive season, both for his own team and for your fantasy teams.
Please, blog, may I have some more?I considered leading with Greg Monroe and his triple double (and in some ways, I just did), but I decided to comment about Jrue Holiday. He has been off to a great start this season, and last night he put up 14 points, 5 rebounds, 12 assists and a block.

Mayo globbed on 32 points thanks in part to 6 of 8 three point attempts (that’s 18 points from downtown for those of you keeping score at home). He only had 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals, but the guy was busy carrying the entire team on his shoulders, so we can probably give him a pass.

It’s like when your friends sit around and say, “what are your top 30 Arnold Schwarzenegger movies?” Only instead of that, it’s me telling you the top 100 basketball players for fantasy basketball purposes. Now this is going to shock you, but I would not really go by this list during my draft.
