One thing I absolutely hate, I mean really despise, is when teams relocate. I think it’s a giant middle finger to fans and a blemish on the legacy of the team. That also leads to bizarre team names, like the Lakers in L.A.

Bradley Beal is learning how tough it is to be a Wizard. Now he understands why Harry was always so stressed out. Expelliarmus! Last night Beal scored 22 points night adding 4 rebounds and dishing out 2 assists. The rookie had his best game of the young season and clearly wasn’t even at his best (0-4 on 3 point attempts, but he did go 8-8 from the free throw line).

Whether or not you follow baseball, I am sure you’ve heard of them new-fangled Sabermetrics that have revolutionized the evaluation of players on the diamond. Statistics such as BABIP, FIP, xFIP, WAR, GWAR (oh wait, that last one wasn’t right) allow owners to look past the traditional statistics in order to find value in players who may not look so pretty on the outside.

Telling you to go full throttle on Marvin Williams is like telling you to go rent “Charlie’s Angels 2: Full Throttle” on Netflix. Both are stuff from the mid-2000s, both will excite you for a second but ultimately leave you feeling shallow and empty for even that momentary excitement, and both leave one wishing it had more Bill Murray.
