I think it’s obvious that I am big on Demarcus Cousins. Looking back, I should have ranked him #1. No, not above LeBron James (who had 20 points and 5 assists, FYI) for this season. I meant #1 all time. Better than Jordan, Magic or Chamberlain.

The Rain In Spain Falls Mainly From Non-NBA Teams

The Raptors and Cavaliers faced off against Real Madrid and Siena Montepaschi Siena, respectively, and won both games. They did so, however, without much help from beyond the arc. Andrea Bargnani, for example, played in excess of 30 minutes,  but missed four of his five three point attempts.

Derrick’s Return Was Not So Rosy

Derrick Rose finally returned to the court against the Knickerbockers Sunday after missing 12 games with a groin injury. That is the longest period of time someone has been incapacitated by a groin-related issue since the summer when the 13-year-old me discovered a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

Ryan Anderson has been kickin’ it with Stephen Curry too much, as he went down with an ankle injury in Sunday’s game. The injury looked bad, but luckily for his owners the x-ray results came back negative, the good kind of negative.
