It’s supposed to signify the position a player was ranked before the season started, but then throughout the season, that O-Rank shifts. In the offseason, I felt Sacramento’s frontcourt was a mess and that Hickson would play a larger role in it, leaving less room for Hayes. Hayes has played decently in his limited minutes before getting hurt, but I can’t imagine how Yahoo! justifies a top 100 rank, then or now.

@Ben: Biyombo’s looking like the better buy at this point. Grab him now and expect to drop him for a different Bobcat next week.
