Just like I was telling JB a few days ago, there just isn’t enough time left.  He doesn’t have enough time to prepare for the coming zombie apocalypse just like I don’t have enough time to tell you a story loosely based on fictional people and places.  My goal is to ensure everyone reading this makes the playoffs in their leagues and there isn’t enough time to talk about underground bunkers and if George A. Romero was really a psychic time traveler who had come from the future to teach us how to stop the coming apocalypse.  Instead here are 12, wait, 1,2,3… yeah, 12 widely available weekend streamers that I think could swing a close match in your favor.  Who you need all depends on how you’re doing against your opponent and be they a Romero zombie, a 28 days later zombie, or even Billy Connolly, then maybe an add from this list can help you survive one more week.

Tony Wroten – PG – Phi – It’s well documented that the 76ers are a mess but there are still useful fantasy players up and down their roster.  Wroten has a caveat of potentially ruining your FT% and/or turnovers but he still can score 20 points, get some assists, hit a 3 and give a steal pretty reliably with 30+ minutes whether that be starting or coming off the bench.  Saturday vsWas and Sunday @Orl, sure.

Alec Burks – PG/SG – Uta – Seriously?  Only 29% owned?  He’s been inconsistent all year and you don’t want to fall for it again.  I know, but hear me out.  I’m probably supposed to say something meaningful after a statement like that but I’ve got nothing.  Do you not like points?  I like points, usually need more than the other guy to win.  Friday @Cle, Sunday @Ind, Monday @Mil.

Brian Roberts – PG/SG – NO – He isn’t all that good and he’s had more than a few duds since taking over the starting job.  There’s still no Jrue Holiday and assists can be difficult to find sometimes.  Friday @Dal, Sat @LAC look tough but Roberts should play plenty of minutes.  Monday @Sac and Tuesday @LAL helps to make for what should be a solid 4 games in 5 days.

Tim Hardaway Jr. – SG – NYK – Are you behind in 3s?  Then this is your lucky day.  Introducing the Hardaway Jr.  ohhh… ahhhh… The Knicks have no reason not to play him with Iman Shumpert shumphurt.  Friday vsGS, Sunday @Chi, Monday @Det.  Timmy could get hot and win 3s nearly single handedly, if you need that category with some points and without hurting your turnovers then I doubt there will be anyone better who is as widely available.

P.J. Tucker – SG/SF – Pho – Tucker has been in a shooting slump for the majority of the year.  He doesn’t take many shots so it’s really not as bad as it seems.  His defense has been immeasurable for Phoenix and in return he plays plenty of minutes.  He gives a bunch of boards, usually kicks in a steal or 2, and sometimes give a 3 or 2 usually 1, contact.  Friday vsNO and Sunday vsAtl look alright.

James Anderson – SG/SF – Phi – Not the most trustworthy player throughout the year but his minutes are all but guaranteed.  He can chip in with some points, 3s, and steals, maybe a few assists to boot.  Saturday vsWas and Sunday @Orl could be challenging since he could be matched up against elite defenders but 60-70 minutes in 2 games should help across the board.

Mike Dunleavy – SG/SF – Chi – With Jimmy Butler still unable to play more shots have gone to Dunleavy and like he has throughout his career he’s continued to show consistent mediocrity.  With 36 minutes all but guaranteed and a jack of all trades stat line I can fully endorse him Friday @Dal and Sunday vsNYK.  There is also the added benefit of Monday @Bkn and a 4 game week for those looking ahead and low on moves.

Marvin Williams – SF/PF – Uta – Consistency issues uh-plenty, no guarantee he gets good minutes.  It’s going to take some cajones to stream Marvin but the potential is certainly there for a rewarding run.  Maybe he gets hot and hits a few 3s, 5-8 boards, blocks a shot, doesn’t hurt your turnovers, maybe.  Friday @Cle is nice, Sunday @Ind could go either way, Mon @Mil and a 4 game week if your looking ahead.  Someone’s going to stream him.  Is it you?

Tristan Thompson – PF/C – Cle – Yeah right.  Ok fine I’ll try, Friday vs… I’m not going to look it up.  I don’t recommend playing him against anyone.  You probably knew that already but it’s going to get worse if/when Anderson Varejao returns.

Josh McRoberts – PF/C – Cha – McBob has been reliable all year and that should continue with no less than 30 minutes per game.  We all know what he does by now and lately he’s been hitting his 3s.  They have a tough schedule with Friday @SA, Sunday @OKC, then Moday @Mia but I like it.  Charlotte doesn’t get blown out often, they haven’t played since last Saturday, and none of those teams are all that strong up front.

Kyle O’Quinn – PF/C – Orl – Do you think the Irishman is only for deep leagues?  I don’t.  He should only see 20 minutes per game so I’m sure something more reliable is out there but if not Saturday @Mia should be just fine since the Heat are notoriously bad versus opposing bigs.  Sunday vsPhi is as good as you could ask for for any player.  What will we get, I hope you wonder?  I’m glad you asked, I may be overstepping a little but I think 20 boards and 4 blocks in the 2 games combined.

Steven Adams – C – OKC – I’m such a homer.  Kendrick Perkins is out for a while and while I don’t expect big minutes from Adams I think he’s still going to be a useful board, block, steal streamer in the right situations.  Is Friday vsMem and Sunday vsCha the right situation?  Since both play big lineups then I think it just might be.
