What a 2013-14 Fantasy Basketball Season its been!  There have been tears, there have been laughs, there have been [formerly] Luminescent Lithuanians… Hard to believe a mere six-and-a-half months ago, we were launching into the season.  Man, was I right to be scared of Tobias Harris‘ ankle!  It ended up being scarier than watching Alien as a 10-year-old!  Something was popping outta something!    While this is the last daily recap until October, we’re going to have all sorts of fantastic content through the season starting with a rankings review with Slim and I, my very fun “Way Too Early Rankings” right around the end of the month, a few big announcements, and a video of me shaving “High as Greg Kite” in my head.  Which, well… Sigh… Anyway, it’s been a great year, hopefully we’ve helped win you some titles and can win a few more for you Roto players.  Here’s what’s going down on the Season Finale of Fantasy Basketball:

Carmelo Anthony – Has a torn labrum, so unlike Tracy McGrady, his post-NBA baseball aspirations are probably null.  I think he got the injury as Spike Lee was tugging his arm begging him not to leave like a 5-year-old when their parents go to work.  “Stay home and bake cookies with me!”

Tim Hardaway Jr. – Another ultimate ThrAGNOF performance!  16/0/0/0/0 with four treys.  He should be the picture next to the dictionary definition!

Mason Plumlee – 16/9/4/1/0 and should get a lot of run tonight against the Cavs since he’s the only young player on the Nets.  It’s like Taco Fall playing with the Uncle Drew team out there!

Marcus Thornton – 24 points last night, and I think will play a lot again tonight if you need some last minute ThrAGNOF contributions.

Andray Blatche – 6 TOs in 19 minutes.  Oh man, I hope my bet vs. Slim with him vs. Tristan Thompson is swung by those TOs!

Aaron Brooks – Not to be outdone, Brooks had 9 TOs last night.  Man, I hope a Roto team vying in TOs didn’t have those two in…  They’ve kicked their computer by now!

Ty Lawson – Almost certainly out tonight, so you gotta roll with Brooks and Randy Foye and hope they don’t turn the ball over 8 times each.

DeAndre Jordan – 13/16/3/2/2 and his penultimate game is a sick rainbow.  And it of course came with 1-8 FT.  Such a microcosm of his year…

Blake Griffin – He and J.J. Redick won’t travel for tonight’s game, so be sure and come up with a Blake substitute tonight.  He got his 16th technical anyway, so he was toast regardless.

Chris Paul – The Clippers play late, and could bench everyone if [read when] the Thunder beat the Pistons early on, making the Clips game irrelevant.  A little scary for fantasy owners.

Goran Dragic – As expected, is sitting in the finale with a bum ankle after the Suns got bounced out of the playoffs.  Slow clap for Dragic for what he did this year…

Gerald Green – In shallower Roto, he’s close to a must-play tonight against the Kings.  Will be hungry to finish the year strong in the starting line-up.

Mike Conley – Hurt his hammy Monday but it seems like he’ll be able to play tonight.  Worth checking until the last minute though.

Chris Wright – Dude has some hops!  Didn’t know much about him until late this year when the Bucks brought him in, and he brought some good energy.  Got a multi-year deal, so he could be 20-team relevant heading into next year (cough, $1 REL draft buy, cough).

Blazers Starters – Portland is locked and Stotts has already all but said LaMarcus Aldridge and Mo Williams are resting.  Probably will mean little to no minutes for the other guys too.

Pacers Starters – The #1 seed is shored up, so no one gonna play!  BOR-ING!  George Hill and Roy Hibbert are reported to get a couple minutes, but bleh.

Evan Turner – Another close to must-play, after 23/7/9 against the Bucks in his last start when the Pacers sat their studs.  Shouldn’t be too hard to ball on the Magic even with the B team.

San Antonio Spurs – Sounds like everyone is going to play 20ish minutes to stay fresh.  Which means fantasy players will continue to stay fresh with their remarks of Pop.

Golden State Warriors – Another team with a locked seeding, so tread lightly.  David Lee is likely out with an iffy hammy and Andrew Bogut is probably out for the playoffs with a broken rib anyway.  But you know what that means?!

Draymond Green – #OccupyDraymondGreen!  Should be played in virtually all Roto leagues tonight.

It’s been a great year, and I’ll be able to check in with comments until close to the 7:00 PM tips tonight, so if you have any questions with your finale Roto line-ups, shoot below and let’s win Razzball Nation more titles!
