With the football season over we can now fully concentrate on the NBA.  Last weekend the article did awesome.  I had my best day of the year and if you followed the write up I am sure you did well too.  We have a 7 game slate on tap for tonight.  I want you to take note that I am not going to write up any of the starting Golden St. players.  It’s not that they aren’t good plays.   Golden St. is in the middle of a tough schedule.  They are playing their 6th game in 8 days, the  third set of a series of b2b’s.  After playing a tough game in Atlanta last night, a game against the Knicks gives Steve Kerr a opportunity to limit the minutes or rest some of the starters.

Point Guards

On Saturday there is a few different ways to attack the point guard position.  We have great high end options, the mid level is good and there is some nice value.  Guys who are not playing are Jrue Holiday, Kemba Walker, Rajon Rondo, and Tony Wroten.  Questionable players are MCW (DNP on Friday) and Darren Collison.

Right now Darren Collison is on the wrong side of questionable.  Fire up Ramon Sessions.  Bare min salary or close to it around the industry.

I prefer J.J. Barea over Devin Harris with Rajon Rondo out.

Brandon Knight is a top notch defender.  With all the value at PG I think it’s best to fade the rookie Marcus Smart tonight.

Tim Frazier started in place of the injured MCW if you want a min priced option.  He did have 11 dimes and played 35 minutes on Friday.

Shooting Guards

Jimmy Butler is criminally underpriced on Draft Kings at $7,700.  Just put him in your lineup.

I like to roster Monta Ellis in close games with a high O/U.  Saturday’s home game against Portland with Dallas favored by 2 ½ with a O/U at 206 right now.

Bradley Beal is questionable.  My guess is Rasual Butler will draw the start and isn’t a bad value option.

Gerald Henderson shot 10-15 last game.  Will he do that again?  Probably not, but Kemba Walker is out and Lance Stephenson is questionable.  Plus he should see a lot of minutes.

Rumour has it Carmelo Anthony won’t play.  Add Tim Hardaway Jr. to the list of value options we can use.

Also consider Giannis Antetokoumpo in a fast paced game.  The minutes are stable and he has a high floor.

Small Forwards

Gordon Hayward looks like the de facto top option at such a bad position.  The Kings give up the 3rd most fantasy points over the last three weeks.

Chandler Parsons seems to be playing better without Rajon Rondo on the court.  His price won’t kill you and has an above average matchup.

Believe it or not but Nicolas Batum has had two good games in a row.  I know he has killed owners all year long and I wouldn’t recommend him if there were better options at SF.

Power Forwards

As a Bulls fan I noticed that they don’t defend power forwards well.  A lot less skilled and talented players than Anthony Davis have torched the Bulls.  If you can fit Davis in your lineup it isn’t a bad idea.

Robert Covington should see a spike in usage is MCW is out

With all the injuries to the Milwaukee front, it has forced John Henson to play more minutes.  On Friday he didn’t see that many minutes because Houston went small and Henson wasn’t needed as much.  Check if Zaza Pachulia and Kenyon Martin are out before you decide to roster Henson.

When Jared Sullinger isn’t late for team meetings he is playing really well.

If Amar’e Stoudemire sits out then Jason Smith becomes a better value play.

Centers

DeMarcus Cousins has a tough road matchup with Utah.  Kings are playing way down in pace too.  Think there are cheaper options with better matchups I like better.

Tyson Chandler has been a beast lately.  On some sites his price hasn’t risen too quickly.  I love his price on Aces but on Draft Kings and Draft Day he is priced about right.

Al Jefferson gets to feast on the weak ass Philly front court that is dead last in rebounding rate.

If Andrew Bogut gets a day of rest then Marreese Speights should draw the start against a weak Knicks front court
