Over the past week, Matt Barnes is averaging 13 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. Can you dig it? Even a one armed prospector could dig it. I also humorously confused the names of Harrison Barnes and Matt Barnes. Hopefully, you missed that part. Pick up Matt. Matt. Anyway, here’s a handful of other names for your weekly Buy/Sell…
Buy
Nate Robinson – I was not kidding yesterday. Over the past week, he’s producing 15.3 PPG, 2.3 3PG, 4.7 APG, and 3.0 SPG. That’s Jason Kidd with the bonus of points. I wouldn’t just buy him for the short term, either. While his good output comes in spurts, those spurts are frequent, like a teenager’s.
Andray Blatche – He has recently been a double double monster, gifting savy owners with 16 points and 10 rebounds every night. He’s already owned in the more competitive leagues, but his ownership numbers are still low.
Sell
J.J. Redick – His value has never been higher, as he has become a three point machine over the past 2 weeks. He’s hit 26 threes over the past 7 games. If you can find a good piece (or pieces) to move him for while he is at maximum production, then jump on it. He’ll still remain a solid source for FT%, threes and assists, so don’t think you have to dump him.

Folks, sorry for the short update today. I hope to be back in full health next week. Shoot me some questions and I’ll try to get to them.
My team in a 16-team, h2h, deep league:
Pg: Dragic, George hill
Sg: James Harden, Dwayne Wade, Lou williams
Sf: Nicolas Batum, Landry Fields, Turkoglu,
Pf: Lamar Odom, Josh Mcroberts, Markieff Morris, Seraphin
C: Monroe, Kevin Garnett, Andrew Bynum
I’ve been playing well so far, but as always, I think moving players while they’re hot needs to be done to stay on top. What would you do (if anything) with this squad?
@Pavel: If there is any interest in Odom, I would move him. It seems like you might be light on blocks. True?
@ChrisV: No doubt. I traded away J. Smith (cuz I wasn’t trusting him a few weeks ago) for Wade. But my 3′s, ft%, points, rebs, assists have maintained their strength. But, yeah, my blocks are low.
@ChrisV: And no, no one is interested in odom. I wish they were.
@Pavel: I love Monroe but you need blocks, dish him off right now while he’s hot, he prob will stay hot, he’s elite but thats why you’ll get another elite for him, maybe aljeff? i see him picking up the sack and he will get u more blocks, or someone else! u can def win a trade if u trade him OR trade harden, tell ppl he’s a all-star locked in and is on th e up up , im not so sure.. sure he can score but everything else will drop a lil.. still great and again, why u can win a trade! gl bro

PG – Irving SG – Vasquez G – Conley
SF – Igudola PF – Parsons F – Henson
C – Asik C – Monroe
UTIL – Mayo UTIL – Stuckey
BN – Jo.Crawford BN – Howard BN – Pau
Hi, 14-team, 11-cat, H2H daily changes (5 add/drops per week), start 9, who would you cut or “sell-high” on my roster, if any? Im in first place by 14 games.
My roster: CP3, Lillard, Teague, Shump, M.Barnes, KY Leonard, C.Parsons, O.Asik, Pat Patterson, Millsap, Bosh, Hibbert, kevin martin
FA: Dunleavy, Splitter, Zeller, Byron Mullens, John Henson, wilson chandler, sullinger, Earl Clark, kevin seraphin.
Thanks!
I @timmy riggins: I don’t know why Shumpert is on your team when Seraphin, Mullens, Spliter, and Zeller are available…
@Pavel: He’ll be back soon. SG elig, is a knick, cool hair. other guys are a dime a dozen that dont contribute much, maybe 2-3 cats in an 11-cat league.
just trade patrick patterson, okafor, and j.r. for greg monroe and thaddeus young. i win right? its a points league
Blatche or Drummond ROY?
@Zandy: drum is legit
What do you think about Kyle Lowry. Is he going to bounce back? Do you think he will get more minutes?
@Jeff: yes and yes
Picked up Nate, U think he will still put out decent numbers with Hinrich back tonight?
nate is a better fantasy pick up then Hinrich? funny how th at is considering Hinrich is th starter! I wonder what will happen to either one of them when rose is back, one of them will die down big
@Moez: also im going to start Nate tonight over Gerald Henderson… think thats a good idea?
or I could remove Gordon Hayward but he’s lookin good/consistent as of late
Im behind so im just trying to make the best decision
Larry Sanders for Andre Iguadola?
And will Jenson (Milwaukee) be any good this year?
@Kevin: no, keep iggy.
and jenson is up an down.. too much down I think, depends with the new system
hard to say, things are changing in milwauk but … id just k eep a close eye on him, if he starts DD’ing it up again , grab him but… I wouldnt trade iggy for sanders
Whats wrong with Reddick? Do you really think his fire is temporary? I’m just wondering cause i got him and I never thought about dropping him… This week he has 46 points, 10 3′s, 9 assists and 16 FGM.. If you think his fire is gonna burn out then do you think I should pick up Nate Robinson like you had in your blog???
@Frank Lynch: I would keep reddick
I wouldnt drop him, d00d knows his basketball, he’s a players coach and he gets all his mins as a magic and he’s been waiting since his rookie season to get the mins he has now, keep im active.
well, id keep him on for sure
If you tell me to keep him then do you still think I should pick up Robinson? Maybe for Alexy Shved or is Hinrich’s return gonna throw a monkey wrench in Nate’s game?
Nate Robinson
Kirk Hinrich played a surprising 38 minutes against the Knicks on Friday and had six points, four rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one block.
It’s a bold statement to play an oft-injured player like Hinrich that many minutes, so he does gain some value with tonight’s output. He and Nate Robinson (five points and three rebounds in 10 minutes) are going to cancel each other out and neither have much value in standard leagues at this point.
none the less he’s playing tonight so im glad i picked him up, they could be wrong but if rose is back , next month even just half the time .. i will kill their value even more..
Fields went for 11 boards again last night so ill hopefully pick him up sunday when he comes off the wire, in hopes someone else hasn’t picked up on his play/hard work.
@Moez: hopefully nate can spurt something out tonight , if so ill keep him maybe, … but he needs to get at least 15 points and 5/3steals or something
Whats up Moez… What do you think abouy Alexy Shved?
@Frank Lynch: I like it a lot
does a lil of everything and they need healthy, young guys to get all the points they lose with bad luck this season
he was only one the wire in one of my 5 leagues and i picked him up! d00d can play!! my thoughts! id see how nate does tonight , if he doesn’t light it, 15+ id go for shved
if u look at his points as whole on the ESPN board, he has a nice collection of stats for sure
@Moez: sorry bro im on my touch screen cell phone atm
@Frank Lynch: Spin:
Shved started at shooting guard and still got significant minutes even with Ricky Rubio returning from a back injury, which shows he’s going to continue to be a major factor in the offense.
Spin:
Shved continues to get starters minutes amid Minnesota’s constant injuries. His start at small forward may qualify him at a new position in some formats.
goodmorning guys… Well its 9:50 here in Jersey so its not that early. Especially when I got 2 year old twins… LOL.. Anyway since I lost Love I picked up Glen Davis like I said yesterday but they said he would be back after there road trip but now therte F’n saying maybe early Feb.!!!! So is he worth holding on to? dont wanna drop him and have someone else picking him up. Unless he’s not worth holding on to? Since he has an absence I had to drop Drummong cause he’s only playing 2 games next week and I need the games.. I read Blairtch”s blog and picked up Devin Harris.. What you think??
@Frank Lynch:
Jacque Vaughn said Glen Davis is progressing in his rehab from his shoulder.
“Progressing, he’s getting shots up, nothing negative and conditioning-wise he’s improving,” Vaughn said. Davis is targeting a return in late January and no other frontcourt player outside of Nikola Vucevic has done anything to suggest Davis won’t resume his role from earlier this year. He is averaging 16.0 points and 7.9 boards, so he is a candidate to begin stashing in most formats.
I’d hold but i guess it all depends who is dropped but for the most part, hold for u! id say anyway
pistons love Drumm, keep a eye on him
I got a couple questions in there so if you can please help me out I would appreciate it
Thanks dude… I actually dropped Devin Harris and picked up Jared Sullinger… Oh also I read this morning that Davis was practicing with the team yesterday and he’s questionable for tonights game. He probly won’t but it says sooner then later now.. Thats good news! Thanks for telling me to hold on to him.
