In yet another bad turn for fantasy top-100 Cs, JaVale McGee joins the triage with Tyson Chandler as centers with broken legs.  However unlike Chandler with the impact fracture, McGee discovered a stress fracture in his tibia with the ominous “out indefinitely” declaration.  It’s a very tough break (ugh) for the Nuggets and fantasy owners hoping to see stat lines of 10/10/5  when the Nuggets were on the slate.  All joking aside, I hate seeing players get injuries and it’s my least favorite open in news recaps in any sport.  There are a select few that are funny (my favorite will always be Bartolo Colon trying to swing for the fences and throwing out his back, and I have little sympathy because he’s a roider), but I wish McGee a speedy recovery.  For fantasy, he’s droppable in virtually all leagues.  A tall guy with a stress fracture isn’t swell, plus he was only playing 16 minutes a game anyway.  J.J. Hickson and Tomfey Mozgov get immediate boosts in value, Mozgov is decent when he’s not getting posterized, but Hickson I think is the biggest takeaway and probably should be scooped up in most leagues if he’s not owned already.  He proved he can be valuable with starting minutes and is a quality big man.  Here’s some other headlines from over the weekend:

Kyle Korver – My arch nemesis.  I am like the fantasy Sheldon Cooper to his Will Wheaton.  So what if he’s better looking than me and can score the girls.  I’m taller!  Ummmm, that’s all I got… Well, officially we’re the same height… Dammit!  I could, ummm, yeah I doubt I’d win in horse.  Around the back and look-the-most-awkward layup!  Tough for Korver to beat that one.  So as I said in my last update, “If he keeps up the multi-cat stats, of course he’s a must-own.”  That’s me quoting me!  Then everyone’s favorite ThrAGNOF went 14/8/5 on Saturday.  Looks multi-cat to me!  I own Korver in a league, he didn’t play Sunday, and despite making a run at a few cats and streaming another spot, I didn’t drop him.  He’s past a ThrAGNOF!  There, you happy Razzball Nation?  YOU HAPPY?!

Brandon Knight - Returned!  Rejoice!  3-7 6/0/1 in 15 minutes.  Ok so not too much rejoicing.  But he should be back into the starting lineup this week, and if anyone cut him, he’s a great guy to look to add.  Still think he can have a really good year alongside O.J. Mayo, even if it’s a little slow-going early on.

Kyrie Irving - We can rejoice for overtimes instead!  Irving with the big game-winning layup capped off a fantastic 39/5/12 line but shot 15-33.  33 shots!  What is this, Animal House!?  I love that Irving said after the game “shooting 33% isn’t bad, I’d take that any day.”  Owners in FG% leagues are like, “um, no.”

Caron Butler - Took 19 shots on Saturday?!  What the hey?!  Get this guy a straw!  I mean, uhhhh, don’t.  Got 19 points, but more surprisingly pulled 13 boards for a 19/13/3/2/0 line.  Played over 38 minutes after not topping 30 the previous 3 games, I’m not buying this much at all.

Evan Turner - Another guy I might be wrong on, but despite going 31/10 had only 1 Ast, no Stls or Blks, shot 9-23 and got aided by the double overtime.  It of course all counts, but it’s another uncommon boost to his averages.  A sell high if any buyers.

Michael Carter-Williams - Crazy.  The name so nice, he got it thrice!  Wait, I don’t think that really applies… A ridiculous 21/7/13, shooting 9-17 (nice!) and only 4 TOs in 50 minutes (very nice!).  He’s shown the FG% and TO bugaboos won’t cut into the production.  ROY winner!

Anthony Davis - I tweeted out after 2-3 minutes in the first quarter on Friday that the Brow would be a top 5 pick next year.  Next thing you know he goes 32 (career-high)/12 with 6 blocks.  It’s like I saw the future!  Followed up with 14/12/1/4/1 last night.  Definitely value him as a top-10 player right now if assessing any trades.

Andrea Bargnani - I also tweeted he was a must-own in virtually all leagues Friday night after going 25/8/3 with three treys and shooting 11 for a ridiculous 25 shots taken.  Followed that up with a subpar 16/1/0/0/0.  1 rebound?  Doug Collins shout out!  Still think he needs to be owned in virtually all leagues.

J.R. Smith - Returned!  Rejoice!  Ok, no rejoicing at all.  Abysmal 1-9 and 4 TOs in 21 minutes.  Smith was still half-baked for this game.  Couldn’t tell if it was him or Jim Breuer out there.

Kawhi Leonard - Came off the bench?!  WTF?! Ok, chill out, the Knicks went out and started Raymond Felton, Pablo Prigioni and Iman Shumpert, so sorta like two 1′s and a 2 instead of a 1/2/3 which comes up 3 short.  I just did some sort of weird Beautiful Mind stuff on ya right there.  As in, it makes sense to me, but maybe not to anyone else!  I’m a good code cracker!  And married to Jennifer Connelly – I love my life!  That’s the only reason Marco Belinelli got the start at the 3.  Still, Kawhi was decent going 18/4/0/1/1 shooting 7-10 and hitting a 3.  Hold tight.

DeAndre Jordan – I think just got another rebound… Totals of 19, 14 then 18 to round out the week.  And to think I lost by 11 rebounds in REL to DJ and Bismack Biyombo getting boards.  Ugh.

Steven Adams – The stand in for the walking trees in The Lord of the Rings movies had a huge Friday night going 17/10/3/1/3 in 31 minutes, but I wasn’t completely buying in.  The Thunder seem insistent on starting Kendrick Perkins even though he’s terrible, and that big game from Adams was in a game the Thunder had locked up fairly early. Followed that up with only 1/2 with 2 blocks in 20 minutes last night and that was without Nick Collison dealing with a hip contusion.  Help, I fell and can’t get up!  Hopefully Adams at some point starts at the 5 with Serge Ibaka at the 4, but who knows if Mr. Brooks will let his team roll that way.  He may just kill any criticizers with a shovel with William Hurt whispering in his ear.

Andre Drummond - Where’s the Drummond fans today?!  A measly 4/3/0/1/2 in 23 minutes on Friday night.  One of my biases turning out right!

Reggie Jackson – In 28 minutes had a fantastic 12/7/4 with 2 steals.  Ok, ok so I called him a drop in most leagues, but Russell Westbrook was ice cold at 4-16 and will heat up.  I don’t see either line as a theme.  Plus Westbrook go ejected.  If you’re in a really deep league and can move Jackson for something, I would.

Greg Monroe – I feel like perception from commenters thought I had him way too low in early rankings, then a tad too high in final rankings.  Maybe I’m writing a false narrative there, but he’s been ridiculous with double doubles in 4 of 5 while shooting great from the field and the stripe.  Still feel like he’s been underrated, and looks like a much better player from the guy I saw last year.

Wilson Chandler – Practiced and indeed looks like he’ll return tonight.  Probably won’t start his first game back, but that team is in turmoil and needs offense.  I see a lot of rock coming his way.

Damian Lillard - Somehow managed to shoot 1-15.  That’s like Boomhauer’s success rate.  At least the Omen managed 4/6/6, but yikes!  He’s managed to have his FG% go down in 6 straight games to start the year.  That’s tough to do!  But it’ll be even tougher to shoot lower than 6.7% in game his seventh game!

Klay Thompson – This is what he is and why he’s never on any of my teams.  After the huge 30 point effort last Wednesday, 11/1/2/3/1 Friday then 12/1/2/0/1 Saturday shooting 31 then 39 percent.  Why I called him a glorified ThrAGNOF!

Harrison Barnes – Another dimming star, fading off after a big debut to two unusable games.  Definitely droppable to stream.

Patrick Beverley – Slim went out and got wasssssssssted after this one!  19/5/3/4/2 for a delicious rainbow line on Saturday night.  Jeremy Lin 6/1/7 and played 11 fewer minutes.  I would mention something about his armor, but I’d like to keep my job…  Still think Lin needs to be owned though, I like him in that 6th man role.

Marc Gasol – 18/7/3/1/3 and no turnovers.  This is the kind of tapas I was looking for!

Goran Dragic – Returned to action, and despite not starting got 30 minutes for 12/1/3.  Not huge, but getting back on the court is huge.  How are the Suns 5-2?!  I think this is about the end of the road for Gerald Green‘s value in shallower leagues, so feel free to drop in weekly leagues and/or look at wire options.

Anthony Morrow – Played just over 28 minutes to Tyreke Evans playing just over 7?!  Yup, 7.  Morrow 16/3 to Evans 0/2/1.  Evans’ multi-cat upside keeps him worth holding on to in deeper 12 teamers, but he’s certainly droppable if you need the spot.

Markieff Morris – On a tear and probably the best run of his career.  What is in the Phoenix drinking water?!  Gold Bond?!  23/5/2/2/1 shooing 9-13 in 34 bench minutes.  Channing Frye after a hot game a while back has looked fried.  I don’t know if that metaphor makes sense, but Morris is clearly the 2nd big man to own in Phoenix.  Miles Plumlee with another solid line of 8/12 with 5 blocks has him the gas giant you want (not an indictment of his flatulence but a star metaphor.  I need to go to metaphor school).

Archie Goodwin - My boy!  6/4/0, but 3 blocks in this one.  He doesn’t get minutes, but has shown he can contribute anywhere, even if he shoots 0-4 from deep like yesterday…

Danny Green - Has the resurgence on Wednesday, I stream him in a league on Friday and does nothing then drop him, then has a huge Sunday.  Fantasy feels so personal sometimes… 8-11 (6-9 3PTM 2-2 FT) 24/10/0/1/1.  Not making me feel green, Ruby Rhod!

Bradley Beal - 34/6 with 6 treys in a near upset win.  The only thing sexier is his sister Jessica…

Ricky Rubio – Triple Double.  Or ¡doble triple! 12/10/14 and 5 steals.  The Rubio that makes me want to rub-you!  5-9 FG and 2-2 from deep.  I knew he could shoot!  I’ve been saying he’s a buy low and this is what I was looking for.

Corey Brewer – If only someone had said this would work well in ‘Sota!  17/1/3/4/2.  Brew it up!

Xavier Henry – Wheels is dealing with quite the flat tire.  Droppable in virtually any league.

Next Game: I’ve got DEN @ UTA then MIN @ LAC tonight.  Great Denver story lines with how the playing time will break down with JaVale on the shelf and how Wilson Chandler looks in his return.  Then what should be a fantastic game with the upstart Wolves playing well.  I’ll probably be tossing out a few tweet (@jbgilpin) if you’re bored.  Good luck in week 3!

@DanThePoorMetFan: I honestly wouldn’t pick up either of those Nugs with Wilson Chandler coming back. So it’s down to Jackson and Blake. And I agree with your two guys to drop. I’d do Green for Jackson 1, then Blake for Carroll as waiver claim #2. Thanks for the drinks man!

I’ve got this Yahoo Pro-$100 League. What do you think?

    PG Kyrie
    SG Kawhi
    G Kemba
    SF Iggy
    PF Monroe
    F Brewer
    C Jordon
    C Sanders
    UT Beverley
    UT RoLo
    Bn Nicholson
    Bn Tobias
    Bn McLemore

Even with the injuries I’m 12-5-1. Nicholson is about to be dropped for tue/wed games out of Blake. My opponent this week has 6 PGs.

@JB Gilpin: Parker, Lin, Nelson, Stuckey, Felton, Chalmers. then James Anderson. Klay. WMatthews. Love. Aldridge. Noah. Bosh.

My other option was tue/wed from Jason Smith. I think the PG would help more.

Is Markieff Morris worth picking up while dropping Patrick Beverly? Or maybe Bargnani?

Have a hard time choosing among Beverly, Bargnani, Morris.
I like Beverly the most, but I’m pretty packed in PGs so…

    10 Team HTH
    G: Westbrook, Wall, D Green, G Hill, P Beverly, T Lawson
F: G Henderson, Jeff Green, DeRozan
    C: Hibbert, Valanciunas, M Gasol

Hey JB, I’m in an 8 man, standard H2H categories league and i feel like my team should be really good, but my players have been struggling. Do you have any advice as to whether I should have patience in my stars or make a deal? If so, with who. Here’s my team:

    PG – D Rose
    SG – Danny Green
    SF – Gordon Hayward
    PF – Andre Drummond
    C – Enes Kanter
    F – Carmelo Anthony
    F – Nikola Vucevic
    G – Kemba Walker
    G – Brandon Jennings
    UTIL – Dwight Howard
Bench (westbrook is obviously a starter):
    Russell Westbrook
    Goran Dragic
    Spot for Add/Drop, currently Kidd-Gilchrist
    IR: Kobe Bryant

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Sam Savitt: If there’s any Drummond believers I would move him, but his value is pretty low. I think Green is droppable in an 8-man, maybe wait another game and see if he duplicates another solid line, but he’d be another guy you can stream for matchups.

My matchup this week is against pretty much all the hottest players right now (Iggy, Klay Thompson, MCW, K-Love) and is leading the league in 3s. Im decent in 3s and we’re fairly even in most other cats (i’ve got him by in wide margin in blocks) should i go for his knees and play korver and CJ Miles as my UTL spots or shore up my strengths with Thad Young and JJ Hickson? Im dying over the anxiety so any advice would be sweet. thanks

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Yoni R: I usually shore up the strengths so I’d go Thad, and while I like Hickson’s upside, roll with Korver too. Korver gives you the 3 upside and is playing multi-cat these days…

  10. chadillac says:

    Hey JB,

What value are you giving Kobe the rest of the season. I’m 2-0 and looking to steal him from an 0-2 owner who is also holding Rondo.

Do you think Dirk and Afflalo is too much?

    Thanks

    • chadillac says:

ha@chadillac: categories are reb, assists, steals, blocks, TO’s, fg %, 3′s, ft%, dd, td, and Pts. 14 team league – 10 player rosters with 1 IR

Pts is our tiebreaker if necessary

Had a trade agreed, receiving Westbrook for Teague and Hayward. There’s been some pushback and looks like it may be vetoed. Just interested in your take on vetoes – should be used for any trade that looks unbalanced in the slightest, or just for ridiculous trades? Cos I can just as easily make a case for Teague and Hayward being thebetter side. Thoughts?

    • Teama says:
      (link)

      @Prodders:

That’s a joke, I think it’s fair and actually don’t want Westbrook at this point. Teague is a beast and Hayward gets all the run he wants on a terrible Utah team.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Prodders: Vetoes are one of my pet peeves in fantasy. It’s more appalling to me to more I play. You easily can make the case for Teague side, I loved Teague coming into the year and that’s a decent team where he’ll need to stay strong, and the Jazz are god awful and Hayward will get tons of shots. Westbrook might be rested at times down the stretch if his knee is sore. I narrowly like Westbrook side more, but definitely not voteable. I do commish review in all leagues now, accepting all trades that aren’t collusion.

      • Prodders says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Yeah I agree. For me part of the fun is trying to trade up, ‘buy low/sell high’ etc. It just cleared, with 3 veto votes (4 required)… although I think I actually should have stuck with Teague and Hayward.

Now been offered Jefferson for my Jordan and Korver, which I’ve accepted. More veto votes coming on that one no doubt!

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@Prodders: Yeah it’s close but you get the upside and a free roster spot. Same with the big Al move, but Jordan looks pretty real. However more playing time will lead to more FT% sink. So I like it, and you got two top-20 players most likley! Well, maybe 30 for big Al…

    Hi Jb!
I’d like to have an opinion about my fantasy team. I’m in a 24 teams(yes,i wrote 24 :D ) league.
    G- Rubio-Beal-Foye-Caldwell-Pope
    F-Tobias Harris-Barnes-Outlaw
    FC-Love
    C-Sanders-Olynyk-Len

Yesterday, two trades were offered to me,the first one:
    FC – Pau Gasol (LAL)
    G – Eric Gordon (NOR)
    GF – Jared Dudley (LAC)
    for
    FC – Kevin Love (MIN)

    The second one is:
Dalembert or Hansbrough and Casspi or Taj Gibson for Sanders and Barnes. I ask now Wilson Chandler and a a C for Sanders and Barnes, but i have to think on it.
    What’s your opinion?
I play on hoops ad i have several problems to reach all the minutes on F and C.
    These are my scoring settings:
    Assists: 1.0
    Rebounds: 1.0
    Blocks: 1.0
    Steals: 1.0
    Points: 1.0
    FT shot: -0.2
    2PT shot: -0.3
    3PT shot: -0.3
    Turnovers: -1.0
    PFs: -1.0
    Team Win: 1.0
    Team Lose: -1.0
    Home Court: 3.0

    Thanks for all,really

@Ciwa: Whoa 24! Blowing our 20 outta the water! I know depth is the key, but I don’t like that Love deal. Think you should try to keep your star. I tried to make a play for Anthony Davis in our 20-team league as he was put on the block for depth and couldn’t make it work. I would hold onto Sanders and try to wait for his value to go back up. I think Barnes could have a big game too and I’d try to wait for that before moving him. I like targeting Chandler, maybe Barnes a deeper guy for him would work.

Should I drop Greg Stiemsma for one of the following FA bigs in my 10 cat roto league (fgm, fg%, ft%, 3pm, 3pt%, pts, reb, ast, stl, blk)? There is not much to choose from.

    STAT (no thanks)
    Biyombo
    Scola
    Pat Patterson
    Jason Thompson
    Marcus Morris

Making me laugh with your Korver comments JB. Good stuff. I only started warming up to him last year, and even though he’s in his 10th year it’s the type of skill set that should only get better with age and experience. Not like he’s reliant on a lightning quick first step or anything like that.

Any thoughts on Jason Smith? Obviously not the most talented guy in the world, but he’s getting the minutes and playing pretty well to start the year. Does Anderson’s eventual return knock him back to 15-20 minutes per game, negating his usefulness?

ROS: Corey Brewer/Martell Webster. Brewer seems like he’ll get more run barring an Ariza injury, but he certainly isn’t the shooter Webster is. Does it come down to where you need help?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@Don O.: Haha thanks man! Yeah I could see him being decent, but if the Rebs and Asts fall back off I can go back to 3s streaming. I think Smith falls down to the mid-20s, but not too much below that. Anderson will be eased in a lot and limited a tad with the toe. I definitely like Brewer more unless I need 3s. Brewer is bringing everything to the table and think with his slashing ability and running the floor he’ll start all year and get bid minutes even when Budinger is ready down the road.

I feel like ive hit the waiver sweepstakes with markieef and deandre…keep up the good work JB! If only tobias would get his azz on the court. Turner looks like hes out to prove ppl wrong this year and it seems to be working. Would u drop mario chalmers for p bev? Chalmers lines are never sexy but hes another waiver add ive grown to like. I think chalmers is ranked in the top 30 due to well rounded line. Think ill hold chalmers, need his high shooting %

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:

@allen: Awesome! Yeah I moved DeAndre up in the last rankings update, but obviously didn’t see this. Markieff will keep getting this run while Frye is ice cold. Yeah I’d definitely grab PBev there for me, just don’t see Chalmers keeping it up, he’s playing well beyond his line last year. P Bev’s line his last game is close to what he can do night-in night-out.

If so who should I drop Afflalo, DeRozan, Mayo, or dare I say the luminescent Lithuanian. I figure I need to keep Jonas for the lack of bigs depth but……I leave it up to you

    Jeff Green Bos – SG,SF,PF
    Arron Afflalo Orl – SG,SF
    Paul George Ind – SG,SF 

@Dad Boner: Hah, I’d keep the big LL. I know it’s been slow, but still have faith good days are coming. I like Stephenson and buy this being a career year, but I think I hold what you got.

c-mon JB!!! you need to jump on the Markieff band wagon.

yeah i get it, during his recent tear his FG% is clearly unsustainable at its current rate.

can it be that he is just a better player in his third year and now has a good opportunity for minutes because Phoenix is not a good club in general?

he can hit the occasional 3 and is at least decent from the charity stripe for a bigger player.

I’m kinda hoping this is real and he stays relevant for the entire season.

@Scrappy: Haha I mean, I own him in a league and not dropping! I’m gonna roll it while it’s hot. It’s definitely possible he stays relevant, Frye is old and not consistent. I’m hoping it works out!

Shallow weekly 8 cat h2h — thoughts on sending blopez Aldridge and zbo for horford ibaka and plumlee?

@Zandy: I like Horford and Ibaka haul. Biggest upside on that side and in a shallow league, I like that kind of move.

Need to start 1 G, 1 F and a Util out of this group, H2H pts league:

    G – Bledsoe (2G–@ Por, v Bkn), IT2 (3G–v Bkn, v Det, v Mem), D. Green (3G–@ Phi, v Was, @ Uta)
    F – Casspi (4G–v Tor, @ Phi, @ NY, v Den), W. Johnson (4G–v NO, @ Den, v Mem, v Det)
    C – Kaman (4G–v NO, @ Den, v Mem, v Det)

    Leaning IT2, Casspi and Bledsoe.

@Steve Stevenson: Yeah Bledsoe is a lock, I like IT2 as the UTIL, and I’d indeed roll the dice on Casspi in 4 very winnable and blowout games and Chandler Parsons is dealing with back spasms, so they may limit his minutes and maybe even sit him a game and I see Casspi as a big benefactor.

    Hey JB,

Hope your day is going well… I’m still toying with the bottom of my roster, which currently has Gerald Henderson and Reggie Jackson dueling it out for the bottom spot. There are some interesting free agents available, and it may not be long until they’re all gone. I always like to approach my pickups with some sort of long-term focus instead of as a streamer, so (a) which guy (or guys) below do I pick up; and (b) who do I drop?:

    Trey Burke
    Steve Blake
    Jordan Crawford
    Ben McLemore

    ————————-

    Thank you.

@chillmodious: Thanks man! Hope you’re week is startin off strong too. I’d hold your guys right now, and keep your eye on Burke, who reportedly saw a hand specialist today and we’re awaiting news. If promising it should be quick, there’s no way they don’t get him on the court for a lot of experience this year on a terrible team. If ominous, I’d keep holding unless McLemore gets more minutes these next few games.

@JB Gilpin: I had an idea of where I wanted to go before asking, but I wanted to get your reply to gauge my level of bias. My thinking was to lose Reggie Jackson for Steve Blake today, watch Burke like a cyclops with a monocle *tips cap to Grey, wherever the hell he’s honeymooning*, and then lose Gerald Henderson / Blake for Burke as soon as any kind of positive news breaks about his return.

Side question: can Steve Blake sustain some real value this season? I love his assists, but his career FG% is pretty awful.

        • JB Gilpin

          JB Gilpin says:
          (link)

@chillmodious: Yeah I’m all for that. Blake gives ya the production now. Sorry I’m a little late before tip. Hopefully Burke gets good news! I think Blake will sustain value but obviously not at this clip. Even with no Nash, Kobe will have the ball in his hand a lot.

          • chillmodious says:
            (link)

@JB Gilpin: So the news on Burke appears to be clearance to dribble and shoot, but no timetable to return. That smells like two weeks to me, but the way all this crap goes, he could be starting midweek (see: Westbrook, Russell). Or maybe that’s just my mind playing tricks on me, as a great poet once said. Anyhoo, do you think I make my move on Burke now, or hold until the next update?

            • JB Gilpin

              (link)

@chillmodious: I’d hold until the next update. The jazz can elect to dick around before they give him a big run, and who knows if they just wait a while. When he is back though, I see a lot of minutes coming.

Still think i should trade Plumlee and Duncan for Favors and Ryan Anderson? Plumlee looks pretty good and I have good 3pt shooters. I’m just more concerned about my rebounds and blocks going down.

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:
      (link)

@forwhomthejoiquebelltolls: Haha nice commenter name! Eh, it’s close, I’m worried about Anderson saying he might not be 100% and deal with pain as he goes. And the Jazz being terrible and might not give Favors huge minutes. I’d hold Plumlee and Duncan now if I said otherwise before.

      • forwhomthejoiquebelltolls says:
        (link)

@JB Gilpin: Yea i gotta change it once football season ends and I don’t use it in my FF league because no would get the reference. haha. But Duncan sitting today making it look more enticing though… i have till end of the day tm

@ThE sHiT: Nah I’d hold Hill still

  27. Brendan says:

I missed my draft and it auto picked for me. I decided to take it as a challenge instead of joining another league. For the first three rounds, it auto picked Derrick Rose, John Wall, and Ty Lawson, meaning I’m overloaded in point guards. The only players that it picked that qualify at center were David Lee, Derrick Favors, and Javale McGee. I have since dropped Javale McGee. This is a 12-team roto league, so it looks like I might struggle in categories such as FG%, rebounds, and blocks. I’m looking to trade one of the three point guards for a stud at center that will help me in the categories I mentioned. What are some names I should target in a trade?

    • JB Gilpin

      JB Gilpin says:

@Brendan: I think Ibaka is a nice buy low, same with Larry Sanders who still has upside. You could move a point for Sanders and someone. Al Jefferson you could also get for cheap, but there is the bum ankle to worry about. If you could do Rose and a throw in for Anthony Davis, I’d do that too.

    • Shoop Da Whoop says:

@Brendan: I’d shoot Rose for The Brow

@JB Gilpin: what about Kyrie/Tyson Chandler?

        • JB Gilpin

          (link)

@AJ: I like getting Kyrie, but would rather a guy playing over Chandler. I don’t think he’s a guy you need to hold onto in 10/12 teamers unless an IR spot.
