Deep breath. We’ve come to the end of the 2010 fantasy basketball rankings for roto leagues. H2Hers, your due is due. Also, your Dew is diet. It was on sale. Also², those who actually took a deep breath a second ago should exhale. I shouldn’t have to tell you that. Why do you only do what I say? Use a little common sense. I suppose I should be grateful. If you didn’t listen to me, you wouldn’t have any reason to read these rankings and I would be out of a job. But that brings up a good point. These final 100 ballers are an approximation of where they ought to go in your draft. If you spent the first set of rounds drafting nothing but point guards (weird) while ignoring centers, don’t let the fact that Luke Ridnour is ranked higher than J.J. Hickson stop you from drafting Hickson. At this point in the draft, you’re picking for upside and to fill in the holes of your team. Only you can identify those holes. At this point, the difference between the No. 150 player and the No. 175 player is negligible. I’ve got no comments to make about these players other than their season projections which follow the FG%/FT%/3pt/Pts/Rbd/Ast/Stl/Blk/Tov categories. I already went over the top 100 for 2010 Fantasy Basketball, and only sadists would expect me to do it all over again. This list starts at 101 and ends at 200. Just like the lists grandma used to make. Without further ado, here’s the 2010 fantasy basketball top 200:

Adam, great shizz. Glad that Grey recruited you guys. Will there be any strategy post coming up? 12-team Roto league is easy to win if one drafts well and acts quickly on the wire, but I always have a tough time winning H2H. Hope that you can share some.

  2. Adam

@Quintero: Yeah, we’ll have plenty of stratagem for both formats. Stick with us throughout the season, we’ll be as thorough as a monkey searching for ticks.

Vinsanity at 108 ……….he deserves it on last years production
Howard at 136 …….not even at 336. If I recommend nothing else this season I’m saying AVOID ………let someone else in your league own this idiot and thus experience the frustration of owning Josh Howard.

@d2bnz: Let it out, d2bnz. You’re among friends. I’ve also owned Howard. I won’t judge you if you bust out a cathartic cry.

    172. Grant Hill ?

I’ll start this post by saying that I have ridiculous man love for Grant and I am completely biased. Grant was a rookie when I started Fantasy Basketball(the good old Sporting News mail/phone leagues). I’ll also say that I haven’t gotten this far in my rankings yet. But, I think Grant deserves a little more love than 172. Since landing in PHX, he has had decent value. They are planning on playing a lot of small ball this year and I see Grant’s looks increasing a little. He finished 112 last year based on BBM, I expect him to crack the top 100 this year. You should be able to safely draft him at 130ish with no downside.

  6. Adam

    Adam says:

@John: I like Hill a lot too, but a 38-year-old relegated to a bench role (behind Turkoglu) and an undefined role beyond that (thanks to Childress and Dudley) is a recipe for a chute, not a ladder.

Hey Adam, Any chance Kleiza jumps into the top 200? It appears that the minutes will be there for him.

@SteveV: Yup. I’d put him somewhere between picks 140-160 at this point.
