Oh man, the jet lag is real!  Sorry for the later daily notes again this morning, I’m in sunny Florida but couldn’t get my ass up in the morning!  Still on LA time!  And you could probably say the same for those lousy Chicago Bulls these days, they were sleepwalking in Orlando.  The walking of the Bulls!  Doesn’t have the same ring as running of the Bulls…  But they looked old last night, even on only 1 hour difference, and no one covered Elfrid while owning from the Shelfrid!  20/14/14/2/2 last night, in an epic rainbow tripdub from Elfrid Payton.  As voluptuous as his hair!  He’s been unreal the past week going 16.3/10.0/8.8/1.5/0.8 hitting 66% from the field.  Of course it’s just a hot streak, and in the daily notes I’ve been really apprehensive the minutes/production would go back down, but things be hot hot hot in Orlando!  But one thing that occurred to me is Nikola Vucevic went down 4 games ago, and these last 3 games have been without Vucci Mane and his USG-whoreness down low.  Replace him with Bismack Biyombo down low, and you need a lot more playmaking elsewhere.  So while yet another season of SKIIIIIIIIIILES!!! residue and inconsistency for Elfrid has me hesitant to push for him yet again in 17-18, if they move on from Vuc and keep more-or-less this same core, I’ll be buying right back in and getting him on my Shelfrid on 17-18 teams.  Here’s what else went down last night in fantasy basketball action:

Nikola Mirotic – Wow, this sucks.  Got a straight up DNP-CD, yet the Bulls – still in it for a playoff spot – lose last night at Orlando.  Playing super annoying King Joffrey, what’s that about Hoiberg?!  Your mom super overbearing and blonde too?!  With that blonde hair, he TOTALLY could be a Lannister!  Joffrey Lauvergne got 29 minutes off the bench for 7/8/4/0/0 on 2-6 FG and 2-4 FT.  Yuck.

Jeremy Lin – Sigh.  Maybe I gotta start waving the white flag on my anti-Lin rhetoric…  16/3/8/1/0, but still only 25 minutes.  The Mess are just such a horrific team, that the pace will be there in that kind of run.  Sure he probably should be owned, but I’m not expecting consistency.

Sean Kilpatrick – Back on a nice run himself! 27/4/1/1/0 with 3 treys, helping the Mess keep pace with the Hawks.  3 straight games now of 20 points.  He’s a little weirder than a normal ThrAGNOF since his 3s have a wild variance, but I would add him while hot.

Dennis Schroder Just needed that benching from Coach Butthole last game to wake up Das German inside him!  31/2/5/3/0 on 10-21 shooting and 10-10 FT.  Of course, this was against the Mess, but good to see he can avoid arguing with Dwight Howard in good matchups…

Cody Zeller So much for weaning a guy back from several injuries!  42 minutes last night for 8/5/2/0/2.  Even with the high run, he’s still pretty typical-Zeller…  Back-end big.

James Johnson Returned from a lacerated elbow (did he just have TJ or something?!) for 10/6/5/1/3, and the Heat are an NBA best 20-4 the last 24 games.  Unreal the reacharound they’ve accomplished.  Oh wait, I mean turnaround, I always mix those up…

Jonas Valanciunas Whoa, actually getting minutes!  Although it makes perfect sense against the Pels and their twin towers…  I’m not expecting a full reacharound here.  Dammit, I mean turnaround!  25/13/2/0/1 and played most of the 4th quarter, but I’m not buying this as the norm.  I would say sell-high off this game, but the trade deadline has passed in most leagues.

Jrue Holiday Leaving Cojo in his wake!

While he had an awesome drive there that was uber-GIF worthy, still only 7/0/6/3/0.  But that said, might have that consistent bigger role again with…

Anthony Davis …Brow going down with a wrist injury.  Mannnnnn, he had stayed mostly healthy all year!  Wrists are just too effing scary, sure X-rays are negative, but we all know they can linger.  Crossing our fingers here he can make it back by next week/the fantasy playoffs.

Derrick Favors Oh no.  Man, super pessimism back-to-back!  Sat with knee soreness, and after the rough start to his season with IT band syndrome, this is no bueno.  Joe Johnson got the start and went 16/2/2 with 2 treys, but a little aided since they played the Rockets.  That said, some deep league ThrAGNOF value from JJ if Favors misses games into the playoffs.

Ryan Anderson – Let’s go pessimistic three in a row!  Sat with back soreness, and he’s had his own history with several back ailments and a fusion in there I think.  Eric Gordon got the start as they went smaller, going his typical 14/2/2/2/0 game with 2 treys.  Might be looking to dump your Ryno.

Stanley Johnson – Weird game for the Pistons, as they got blown out and my KCP-addiction took yet another turn to the dark side…  17/5/2/1/1 for StanJo, but this feels like a weird rotation-blowout game is all…

Willy Hernangomez Got back into the starting 5 and the Knicks pushed Kristaps Porzingis back to his normal Goose position at the 4, and Willy went 13/12/1/2/1.  That said, 6 TO?!  Whatchu doing with the ball so much, Willis?!

Giannis Antetokounmpo Greek is fleek!  Isn’t that something the kids say???  32/13/7/4/2 with only 1 TO and 3 NBA top ten dunk highlights. Unreal.

Malcolm Brogdon Yup, this is what you get on a Kidd team.  Smh…  22 minutes of blah, and just to add insult to injury, Jason Terry led the bench with 30 minutes.  Broggy and Delly still straight split 48 minutes at PG, but still really annoying.

Tyreke Evans – Blew up last night for 26/2/4/2/0, but man the Kings line-up is a straight “F You!” to fans wanting to see them rebuild.  You’re starting Reke, Anthony Tolliver, Kosta Koufos, AND A-R-Ron Afflalo?!  God, what garbage.  Not starting any of the young guys, maybe since it was a Spurs matchup?!  I dunno, but that would be a PERFECT learning opportunity!  Kings can’t even get rebuilding right!

Patty Mills The Spurs sat a bunch of guys too, and played the few remaining regulars low minutes as well, like Tony Parker (16 mins).  Opened it up for the bench guys, and Patty the Aussie lit it up for 17/1/10/1/0 with no TO and 4 treys.  Even with barely playing any of the starters (Kawhi, Aldridge DNPs, Parker/Pau barely played), the Spurs still beat the Kings by 10…

Bojan Bogdanovic Yup, this is why you ThrAGNOF!  10/2/1/1/0 is still pretty decent I guess, but only 21:33 and missed his treys.  Swap him out for Kill Pat!

Gary Harris Career-high 26 last night, on a 26/2/4 line with no TO.  Slim literally did Irish jigs all last night while seeing this line.

Mason Plumlee Got another starting nod with Jock Itch out with a severe case of jock itch, going for 19/10/5/1/0.  I wouldn’t be keeping him around though, once we hear Jock Itch used some tough actin’ Tinactin (sp?  is that even the right cream?!).

Jamal Murray Looked great last night for 17/3/5 off the bench, and pushed Jameer Nelson down to only 24 minutes, exactly how I predicted this shituation turning into a legit time share as the Nuggets PROPERLY rebuild.  Taking notes, Kings?!

Kelly Olynyk Man, only real interesting night from the Celtics players, in a pivotal win at Golden State.  They had been struggling on their West Coast road trip, but 17/5/5/3/0 from Olynyk and an unreal +26 in a 13-point win was pretty Savior-ish.  Olynyk of Nazareth showing his Golden Rule!
