Razzball Nation!  So if you’re reading this you’re probably in the playoffs of your fantasy league, but if not and you read for my mere musings and devilishly witty forays into the intricacies of the English language (and obtuse adjective overuse), then huzzah!  And huzzah for a site like DraftKings.com where you can draft a new line-up every day and play the matchups that you decide for the players you pick on a nightly basis.  Maybe you squeaked into your playoffs with all your hopes and dreams that Derrick Rose would be playing by now, only to get crushed by the 3 seed.  Either way, if you lost your fantasy league buy-in or it seems to be as useless as a Bernie Madoff investment, why not play in daily tournaments where your winnings can be much higher!  Today DraftKings is running their SUPERQualifier for their $150k Bank Shot, where 25 people will win a ticket into their huge $150k contest.  First place will win $50k for picking the best lineup tonight in only one day of fantasy goodness.  It’d be like winning your NCAA bracket in a single night.  Would be a rush.  More a rush than going to see Rush.  Ok, so they were before my time, but I like their music when it’s on.  Here’s who I like tonight to give you a rush of cash:

Jonas Valanciunas ($4,200) – Gets a soft matchup tonight at the Bobcats and coming off tying his second highest points output his last game out.  Was 7-8 FG and 4-4 FT for 18 points against the Heat on the 17th and I think could go for 20-10 tonight starting at the 5.  Easily one of the best values tonight, I like him to bring ya the green.

Andrew Bogut ($5,100) – Bogut is another center I like, who doesn’t do it flashy on the scoring end, but puts stats across all categories with reckless abandon.  Went 8-9-5-1-4 against the Hornets Monday night, and while the matchup tonight at San Antonio looks back on paper, remember it’ the boards, assists, steals and blocks that make Bogut what he is, so it should be a gritty game for the Aussie to get the numbers.

Gordon Hayward ($4,700) – Scoring consistently, hitting 3’s consistently (3 in both his last 2) and gets a great matchup against the fast pace Rockets.  Played 37 and 38 minutes in the last two as well, so I see a nice 20+ points game coming from the Jazz swingah.

Mo Williams ($4,400) – Another Jazz player I like in what should be an up tempo, high scoring game is Mo-Will, who I think can go something like 14-6-8 with a few threes and steals.  Will be a fun game to watch.

Dorell Wright ($4,200) – A great value tonight for Wright, who is another player who gets a matchup that shoul be fast-paced and high scoring, at least high for the Clippers, which means the Sixers will be shooting from deep.  Has had increasing minutes in the past 4 games and along with the obvious scoring and 3-pointers is contributing in other categories as well.

Wayne Ellington ($3,800) – Gets the start tonight with Dion Waiters out with a sore knee.  With a tough matchup trying to break LeBron’s streak, I could see Ellington getting a lot of shots in this one.  For the value, you won’t find anyone with much more upside tonight than Ellington.

Good luck tonight, and if these picks win you some money, buy me a Crown & Coke on my new donate button on the main basketball page.  Win that money!
