Don't be shellfish...Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterShare on Google+

I trust everyone has been a good boy or girl this year, and has sent their wish list to Santa already, right? I have it on good authority that jolly old St. Nick is a huge NBA fan, so naturally I suggest you ask for fantasy help. And I have a strategy: bear in mind, if you ask for too much, you get burned for being greedy, and you will get coal bricks under your tree (like Drummond at the free throw line, amirite?? Awful, sorry.). So, that in mind, I’m simply asking for dimes. I need help with assists in my 2 leagues, I took Kyrie in both leagues, and he is not exactly packing that stat line, I have Jameer, and he’s been on and off the court… well, whining to you guys won’t do anything about it. But whining to Santa will. It has to, as there is no quality points on my waiver. And with that let me bend your eyeballs to a few guys that might make excellent stocking stuffers:

Buy:

Jon Leuer PF, C

Long Jon! Christmas came early for this big lug. Leuer has been hot since Ed Davis went down in Memphis, along with Marc Gasol taking the plunge first, thus providing minutes for the kid. In the last 3 games, he has averaged 16/8/.7/1.7/.66, with a 3pt per. And 6% owned, but it should go without saying that he will lose fantasy value when those other cats get back to  being healthy, but for now, that is one sexy yule tide log, keep it burning, Jon boy!

Reggie Jackson PG

I love what this kid has shown, but, sadly, the one thing he is not yet strong with, is dishing. In his last 4 games, he is averaging a trey per, to go with 15/3.8/3/.75/0, and with Thabo Sefolosha down, he gets more minutes in the rotation, and only owned in 1 in 4 leagues. If you need scoring, and a smattering of other stats, he’s not a bad streaming option.

Mike Dunleavy Jr SG, SF

The Bulls. In the stock market world, a bull market is a good one, an indicator that the market is going up, but these days, the Bull market in the NBA is bad. The D is sick, but they can’t score, with Derrick Rose and Luol Deng both on the sidelines with injury. Up steps Jr, and cans a pile of points, essentially being the only dude to produce on the team for the past 5 games. In said 5 games, he has averaged 17.2/6/3.4/1/.6, with 2.8 long balls, and that’s with his 3/4/2/1/0 point stinker against the Heat! And merely 15% owned. It might be cold in Chi-town, but this Hombre esta en Fuego!

Tony Wroten PG

I have recommended this dude before, because he’s only good when Michael Carter-Williams is out. And he is out. MCK, that is. So Wroten is worth an add to stream while the rook is down. Tony has averaged 17.5/6/5.3/.75/.75 in his last 4 with half a 3pt per (1.5 per?), and is 19% owned.

Amar’e Stoudemire PF, C

If you are desperate for Big man stats, Amar’e is playing very well for now. I can’t deny the production, (14.5/7/.5/1.5/1.5 in his last 2 games) but don’t drop anyone of any significance for Stoudemire, I have little faith at all that he can keep it up, and additionally, once Tyson Chandler comes back, he will go back to fantasy irrelevance.

Pablo Prigioni PG

This call is speculative. Putting that out there right now. But Raymond Felton is out, and somebody’s gotta run the point, right? It might fall on the shoulders of J.R. Smith and Beno Udrih, but I’m willing to bet that most of the distributing lands in the Argentine’s lap, and if you’re desperate for dimes like I am, he is only 1% owned right now. Worth a flier to see how he does this week, IMO.

Sell:

Amir Johnson PF, C

I have an outright, for-everyone-to-see mancrush on Amir. He is the Tits. A hustle, energy guy who has a non-stop motor. Except for the first 12 games, when he was nothing like that, and I’m sure more than a few of you out there in fantasy land considered dropping him, or even ditched him outright. But in his last 4 games, he has been deserving of all my love once again. He has 22.2/9/.5/.5/1.75 line in that time. The problem is that the Raps are blowing it up. Does this mean more/better touches for the big man, or less? Greivis Vasquez is a fantastic pick and roll PG, but Kyle Lowry is likely heading out the door sooner than later, so we just don’t know. Amir may himself be heading out of the Great White North at some point. The Magic 8-ball would say “future looks murky” on this one, so now might be a great time to sell high. He might keep this level of production up, or he may flame out again, but you may lack the intestinal fortitude to ride this roller coaster, and you should get a very good return at this point.

Kirk Hinrich PG, SG

This comes as no surprise to his fantasy owners. Captain Kirk is terrible. He can’t score, can barely dish, and is indefensible at this stage of the season. He broke through a stetch of 0 for 22 last night, finally. I would suggest that you try and move him for whatever you can get, or dropping him, failing that. Streaming a PG is a better option than starting this cat right now. I hope he gets it together, but I’m afraid I’m not optimistic, he’s definitely in decline.

Ok kids, it’s getting late, that’s all for today. Remember to get your letters out to Santa ASAP, the fat man will be breaking into your house before you know it!

What do you guys think of the following trade?

I get Deron WIlliams and Gerald Henderson

I give up Mike Conley and Greg Monroe

    • Sam smith says:

      @sam smith:

      anyone?

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@sam smith: Don’t do it, IMO. Greg Monroe has so much upside, and Conley the only backcourt dude in Memphis, gonna have the ball all the time.

  2. asdfasdf says:

    Hello,
Which 2 players would you bench out of:

    Channing Frye vs. Sac
    Bargnani @ Bos
    Hickson vs. Utah
    Leuer @Nor
    Tyreke vs. Mem

By the way it’s a points league, so I don’t necessarily have to go for a well-rounded stat line.
    Thanks!

  3. Dan A

    Dan A says:
    (link)

Bargs is in a bit of a slump, so he’s definitely one, and Frye is the second, also has cooled lately.

    • asdfasdf says:
      (link)

@Dan A: Okay, thanks for the help Dan

  4. Josh says:
    (link)

Do you think Taj can continue this level of production into fantasy playoffs or would it be wise to cut him for omer asik given the rumors that he’ll be traded by next week?

    • Dan A

      Dan A. says:
      (link)

@Josh: the entire bulls offense is sputtering right now. The playoffs are a long way away, so don’t get ahead of yourself, but if he is the only one to drop for Asik, I see your conundrum. But Asik will succeed or flounder depending on which team he goes to, he’s not a slam dunk just yet. That said, I don’t have a lot of invested in Gibson, so go ahead, and if Asik doesn’t pan out, you could stream an equivalent of Gibson’s numbers, I would bet.

      • Josh says:
        (link)

@Dan A.: thanks dan the man

  5. Jake Van Zuiden says:
    (link)

Hey Dan I was just offered Dwight, Kyrie, and Lee for my Love, Rubio, and Gortat

In the league that I’m in, there’s no FT %. Instead there’s FTM along with OREB, DREB, and DD categories so Love is kinda a big deal in our league lol and I don’t know if I want to give him up. What do you think?

    • Dan A

      Dan A. says:
      (link)

@Jake Van Zuiden: Rubio is also a dd threat, whereas kyrie really isn’t at this point. I don’t think I would do it. I’m really big on Kyrie, but Live would be a top5 player in your format, and Irving is still not where I expected him to be. You can’t wait half the season for him to round into form.

  6. Pavel says:
    (link)

aye this is my 14-team h2h squad:
PG: J. Wall, Mike Conley, Knight, Patrick Beverly
    SG: Waiters, Burks, Reggie Jackson
    SF: Kevin Durant
    PF: Ibaka, Henson, Jason Smith
    C: Gortat, R. Lopez

jb said that I shouldn’t take this trade. But others said I should. What do you think?
    I give: Knight/Gortat
    I Get: Iggoudala/Plumlee (phx)

    • Dan A

      Dan A. says:
      (link)

@Pavel: no. I don’t like it either. Just an opinion, but While I like Plumlee as a waiver get, you don’t trade away solid producers for guys who haven’t proven to be able to do it for more than 5-6 weeks.

      • Pavel says:
        (link)

@Dan A.: But am I not getting the best player in Igguodala in the deal. especially considering my team setup?

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Pavel: Iggy is still injured, firstly, and second, he is not a dominant fantasy player, moreover, hamstring injuries can linger all year. It’s not a great deal, IMO, just sayin.

  7. AJ says:
    (link)

So with Jon Leuer in the mix in Mem and Koufos looking like he is having some regression last 2 games and only 14 minutes of play today for whatever reason, would you say this is the time to drop Koufos?

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@AJ: I would be comfortable with ditching Koufos for Leuer. Kostas, however, has been solid at his position. He gives you more defensive stats, and not a lot of points. But if you want a stretch 4/5, with more of an offensive flair, Leuer is the better pick.

  8. Jason says:
    (link)

I’m in need of a big. What are your thoughts on this deal:
I give Jeff Teague and Jordan hill
    I get ibaka

I have wall, wroten, and George hill to back up at PG.

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

      @Jason: great deal for you.

  9. quintero says:
    (link)

    Dan man,
Would you look into the chance to trade for Nene?
I could use Frye plus Faried to trade for him, and find 3s on the wire.
    Thanks in advance.

    • quintero says:
      (link)

      @quintero:
14-team h2h league, this is my team.
      PG Goran Dragic(Pho – PG,SG)
      SG Brandon Knight(Mil – PG,SG)
      SF James Harden(Hou – SG,SF)
      PF Channing Frye(Pho – PF,C)
      C Amir Johnson(Tor – PF,C)
      Util Jrue Holiday(NO – PG)
      Util Pau Gasol(LAL – PF,C)
      Util Trevor Ariza(Was – SG,SF)
      BN Roy Hibbert(Ind – C)
      BN Kosta Koufos(Mem – PF,C)
      BN Andrew Bogut(GS – C)
      BN Kenneth Faried(Den – PF)

Lots of G/F on the wire, T. Ross, C. Brewer, J. Jack, and future stash Reddick, etc.
I could either stay put and hope Faried/Frye ride out their funk or aggressively looking for 2-for-1 seeking for a big man upgrade while picking up a 3s/stl/ast producer of the wire. Already tried for TD and DeAndre but nobody bites. Theoretically, I could go for Monroe but he doesn’t really block a thing.
Would love to hear what you think!

      • Dan A

        Dan A says:
        (link)

@quintero: T Ross is interesting. He had a great game against Philly last night, and is getting the start. He might be the 3pt producer you’re looking for, he got 4 last night. Dropping Frye would be the move I would suggest.

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@quintero: Nene is often hurt. I have him, and on many occasions I have considered dropping him, due to frustration. When he plays, his value is undeniable, however. If that is the offer you have tabled already, then fine, you’re right, frye is a type that can be replaced on the waiver, but it seems a bit much for a player who has missed 40% of the season so far. That said, if you’re comfortable, you’re not giving a ton up.

  10. Mike says:
    (link)

Trevor Booker I was able to pick up on all but two teams. I have 11 teams this is the guy to get. I have had Leuer and Wroten since Davis and MCK went down. In my twenty team league you can’t wait a couple games to see if a player is for real.

  11. Mike says:
    (link)

Thanks for the info on Pablo.

  12. TobiasFunkeAnalRapist says:
    (link)

I just dropped Brandon Knight for Jimmy Butler, good move bad move? I’m pretty stacked at pg and I like Jimmy a lot because he banged Miley… Thanks.

  13. Jake Van Zuiden says:
    (link)

    What do you like better?

My Westbrook, W Chandler, and Gortat for his Hawes, Noah, and Conely

    or

My Westbrook and Cousins for his Vucevic and Harden

    • Dan A

      Dan A. says:
      (link)

@Jake Van Zuiden: I much prefer the one where you get Vucevic and Harden.

    • Mike says:
      (link)

@Jake Van Zuiden: I would rather have Cousins and Westbrook. Harden hasn’t played as good as he did last year and Vucevic looked good the first week but hasn’t played as well lately. The only big man I would want over Cousins would be Love.

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Mike: @Jake Van Zuiden: Fair enough, but players ebb and flow, Vuceviuc has had several monster games, and just came back from a minor injury, which would explain the dip in production. Cousins is a point stud, but he Just got Rudy Gay as a teammate, who does not pass to big men much, and I believe that they will try to involve him a lot, thus affecting Cousin’s production.
But hey, I could be wrong. It’s not like you’re getting fleeced, Harden is averaging 24.5/5/6

      • Mike says:
        (link)

@Dan A: Yea I was wrong about Harden, I would rather try to trade Westbrook straight up for Harden. Harden numbers are very close to last year.

  14. Just traded Parsons for Brook Lopez. Both have lingering injury concerns. I plan on picking up Wilson Chandler off the wire to make up for parsons and cutting big baby.

Now that my spiel is over, what do you think of parsons for Lopez??

    • Dan A

      Dan A. says:
      (link)

@Derrick Yu: Lopez is much more central to Brooklyn’s offense than Parsons is to Houston’s. Good trade. Let’s just hope Brook’s foot holds up!

  15. I completely agree with selling Kirk Hinrich. He had a decent 13/8 line last night but you never know what you’re going to get. So much run but such shaky production. And I’ll readily admit, I’m a Bulls fan! I dropped him even with the PG position scarcity.

  16. Marco says:
    (link)

Hey, who won in the following deal: D Will and Koufos for Jeff Teague and Tobias Harris?

    • Zandy says:
      (link)

      @Marco: Teague and Tobias

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Marco: I would say teague and Harris, IF Tobias can come back to being the player he was last year.

  17. Sam W says:
    (link)

Any ideas on if Iguodala will be back this upcoming week ? I’m thinking of possibly dropping him for Martell Webster. Good idea? I’m not terribly weak in any category, just need stats and thinking Iggy will be out at least 2 weeks.

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Sam W: there is no timetable that I can find. The problem is that Hammies can linger all season, so perhaps see if you can include him in a trade before dropping him, he doews have some value.

  21. Gerald says:
    (link)

just got offered Big Baby, Pierce, and Boozer for my Harrison Barnes and Beal… with Iggy coming back somewhat soon would it be smart to take this trade?

    • Dan A

      Dan A. says:
      (link)

@Gerald: I don’t really have a burning desire to have any of those guys. Counter with Barnes for boozer straight up? When taking back 3 for your 2, remember you still have to drop someone, so tally that into your equation.

  22. Aj says:
    (link)

Better play for today Jonas V or Dunleavy, would drop Kofous and pick up Plum or Leuer 2marro

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Aj: Since the departure of Rudy Gay, the Raps have been really trying to involve the big man. He had 12/13/1/1/1 last game, whereas Mike D has a cooler game. If you need 3’s start Mike D. If you want more defensive stats, start Jonas.

      • Aj says:
        (link)

@Dan A: sweet thanks for the quick reply right b4 tip off

  23. Prodders says:
    (link)

MCDubs has missed a lot of time with a trivial sounding ailment. Is this going to be a recurring theme this season do you think? Would you trade him for Rubio or with a little sweetener for Bledsoe if you could? Cheers boss.

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Prodders: You kids and your vernacular! If you mean Carter-Williams, If you could get Rubio, I would do that deal, for the injury concern as well.

  24. moez says:

    hey man
debating trading my Holiday for wall.. should i jump on the wall? im looking for the better keeper
now saying that its not just 1v1 but im thinking long term like tossing him amir johnson so he’ll do it..
thanks man hope all is well
    happy holidays

    • moez says:
      (link)

@moez: yet I look at holidays numbers and he seems seriously under R.. those R’s.. yet wall has those steals..
wall maybe more upside?? im thinking but again when i look at holly his numbers jump out.. lol not sure wtf i should do hence I thought id ask you! rawrrr

    • Dan A

      Dan A. says:
      (link)

@moez: I like a wall for holiday. Adding Amir is a big kicker, IMO. True, Amir has under whelmed, but with the departure of Gay, he has flourished the last 6 games or so. But do what ya gotta do, I guess.

      • moez says:
        (link)

        @Dan A.:
        good
call im looking at Westbrook/Kanter for Holly/Amir/Deng Atm..! not going with the wall trade unless its 1b1 thanks a lot!

  25. Lasandro says:

Keepin up the great work I see

Trade away Pau for favors? Kitten mittens, or good investment?

    • Dan A

      Dan A. says:
      (link)

@Lasandro: hmm. Been a lot of talk that pau is on the move. So the question is: will it be better, or worse at his new abode? Favors has upside, but been banged up, like pau, and pretty much all bigs. I know I’m being a fence-sitter here, so pushed to answer, I would say do it, but it’s tough to call the winner right now.

      • Lasandro says:
        (link)

Yeah man it’s doing my head in. He’s now offered Deng and Favors for my DJ. Should Butlers return to chi town concern me re: dengs production? Cheers

        • Dan A

          Dan A says:
          (link)

@Lasandro: I like Deng, he was producing before when Butler was playing as well, so I wouldn’t be too concerned. Sorry, Who is he asking for? Derek Jeter? DJ Augustin?

          • Lasandro says:
            (link)

Haha Jeter! Deandre Jordan. As reference, here’s my current squad:

            DJ
            Holiday
            Afflalo
            M Gasol
            P Gasol
            A Davis
            DMC
            Hensen
            Demar D
            Monta
            Korver
            Drummond
            R Lopez

Appreciate your help on this one.

            • Dan A

              Dan A says:
              (link)

@Lasandro: As always, you have to think about who you would drop to make that deal work. 2 for 1 is never that, unless you happen to have an open roster spot. You need wing help, and as I said before, Deng is a multi tool guy, but it would actually be DJ and Robin Lopez for Deng and Favors. And if you need Wing help, check if Marvin Williams is on the waiver, he’s back from injury, and starting… If not, the deal is a good one, so don’t feel like you shouldn’t do it.

              • Lasandro says:
                (link)

Dude I appreciate your help! Keep it up and will check back tomorrow. Cheers

                • Lasandro says:
                  (link)

Sorry but had to add tht the further wings are on the wire: Nelson (not a wing I know), oladipo, w chandler, t Evans, r Jackson and the aforementioned Williams. Williams still the best choice to grab in place of Lopez (or Korver perhaps)? Thanks again

                    (link)

@Shaqtin’ACoon: I might think about dropping Jone for Wright, not Amir. And the Jones drop is only because there are reports talking about the Rockets acquiring a PF for Asik, which would affect Jones, clearly.
Mayo has been a total disappointment, I would rather have Ross at this point.

I think I have really good players but somehow my team as a whole sucks, currently 8th.
    Maybe because of injuries…

Well, so I’m thinking if there’s anyone to drop to pickup any of above guys.

@Tsilaeri: I might think about dropping Sanders, siml=ply because he’s in the hot water with the fight in the nightclub. It may turn out to be nothing, but the team, or league might issue a suspension.
But even with all that, I don’t know if I would drop anyone you have listed there. Maybe try to package a few of your better guys in a trade to get an elite fella. Like Al Jeff and Wall for CP3, or Lawson and Gerald for Lillard. Hill and Henderson for Deng? Then you can pluck a guy or two off the waiver to make up for the deficit.
And yes, those injuries will hurt your production. But something like 15 weeks left, plenty of time to make up lost ground.

    hey man
would u trade ur holiday for a Lillard? keeper league
    Im thinking long term
    lillard?? hmmmm

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@moez: I would do that trade 10/10, especially in a keeper.

  33. Kevin says:

Hey dan. I’m looking to build on my 3pt, FT%.

Do you think trading my oladipo, bledsoe, and Dwight for Kevin love and klay Thompson is fair?

I already tried to trade for guys like Ryan Anderson and lillard but no go. My league is especially picky with trades too. Unfortunately.

Anyways, thanks for your help, dan.

    • Kevin says:
      (link)

@Kevin: oh. And would you trade favors for parsons?

    • Dan A

      Dan A. says:
      (link)

@Kevin: I would say that is a fair offer.
Also, if you’re looking for 3pt, parsons for favors makes sense.

  34. Jason says:
    (link)

Is brook Lopez enough of an offer for kyrie? I’m helped by this team being overloaded on PG and short on bigs. What about lillard? He also has monta. Which is best bet?

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Jason: I would say you have the best chance of getting Monta Ellis for Brook. I don’t think you could reasonably expect to any of the others.

  35. Dreadz says:
    (link)

Is Harkless worth targeting in a dynasty league? Dunno if he’ll be starting next season with the emergence of Nicholson, so I’m not sure what to offer, or if he’s even worth it. I’m rebuilding and basically tanking, so I’m trying to stash some high-upside guys for next season. Thanks!

    • Dreadz says:
      (link)

      @Dreadz:

      I should mention that it’s 16 team h2h.

      • Dan A

        Dan A says:
        (link)

@Dreadz: I’m not a big fan of Moe. He had a lot of hype, he may turn out still, but at this point, I wouldn’t target him.

  36. sam smith says:
    (link)

    hey dan,
what do you think of this trade?

I give up Love and Kawhi Leonoard

I get Al Jefferson and John Wall.

I’m in a eight team rotisserie league.

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@sam smith: I would rather stick with Love and Kawhi

  37. Bobby says:
    (link)

Who would you recommend picking up for tonight’s game just for a spot-start?

Beverley, Frye, PJ Tucker, Leuer, Ed Davis, Marcus Morris, Mo Williams, or Jordan Hamilton???? Or someone else besides those?? Thanks Dan!

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

      @Bobby: Leuer, IMO.

  38. Fantasy Newb says:
    (link)

My Ibaka for Ryan Anderson. Should I accept it?

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Fantasy Newb: I would do that deal. Anderson was a dude I didn’t put too much stock at the beginning of the season, but he has continued to produce, enough to prove he’s legit. A poor man’s Love.

      • Fantasy Newb says:
        (link)

@Dan A: Thanks. Just one more if you don’t mind: My Monta Ellis for Marcin Gortat. Thanks again

        • Dan A

          Dan A says:
          (link)

@Fantasy Newb: I’d hold onto Monta, unless you need big man stats. Even then, I would target a better big, Gortat is struggling right now.

  39. Jake Van Zuiden says:
    (link)

Hey Dan. I was just offered IT2 and Hawes for my Westbrook and Gortat
what do you think I should do?

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Jake Van Zuiden: I wouldn’t. Gortat not doing much at all,

  40. m1chael says:

    Whats up Dan

JJ Hickson was dropped and I’m wondering if there are any guys I could drop for him. Here’s my team.

Curry, Wall, Lillard, Pek, Brewer, Ropez, T. Harris, Jeff Green, Hawes, TJones, Leuer, Derozan

I’m leaning towards dropping TJones but IDK my team looks pretty solid right now except I’m losing rebounds and steals almost every week.

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@m1chael: Jones has cooled off, and there is talk that Asik will be traded for a PF, so yes, I would drop him.

  41. Gerald says:
    (link)

got offered Ginobili, Boozer, and Pierce for George Hill, Beal, and Harrison Barnes

kinda getting sick of waiting for Beal and sick of Hill. Worried about Barnes’ numbers when Iguodala comes back too… would this be a good move in a 9 cat, 12 team league? i’m in last place

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Gerald: I know you’re sick of Beal and Hill, but what you’re being offered is no better. I wouldn’t do it.

  42. Kevin says:
    (link)

Drop terrence jones for larry sanders??
    10 team 9 cat league

    my team:
    Eric Bledsoe
    Jimmy Butler
    Kyle Lowry
    Kyle Korver
    Terrence Jones
    David Lee
    Brook Lopez
    Nikola Vucevic
    Trevor Ariza
    Trey Burke
    Kemba Walker
    Derrick Favors
    Amir Johnson
    Spencer Hawes
    Monta Ellis

Was gonna do it but wanted some input before I pulled the trigger. Need your help!

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Kevin: I would do that. Jones has cooled off.

  44. Frank White says:

    Wutup Dan… So I have in a 10 team league 9 CAT
    Conley
    Gordon Hayward
    Jeff Teague
    Jameer Nelson
    Millsap
    West
    Carmello
    Ariza
    Tristan Thompson
    Leuer
    OJ Mayo
    John Henson
    Reggie Jackson
    Marc Gasol
It might not look like a great team but I’ve been doing great cause it’s all about merging guys into all categories, right.. I’m in 1st place and I really don’t need much changes but a stream here and there cause I’m a big believer in not fixing what’s not broken but a guy told me he would trade Issaih Thomas. Do you think I should try to get him, and if so then who or whom would you offer?? Conley?

    • Frank White says:
      (link)

Also after picking up Jameer Nelson, which I thought was just gonna be a week thing, he’s been a CAT stud!! And Reggie Jackson! Sorry just sayin.. Lol

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Frank White: Dude, not still bitching about Melo?
If you could give someone like Jameer and Ariza for Isaiah, I would do that. The fear I have with Thomas is that he is logging the most minutes in the league, which is great for owners while he’s healthy, but the risk of injury is elevated.

      • Frank White says:
        (link)

Na.. Lol.. Mello is actually nice as hell. avr. 26 points good on boards n most other CAT’s.. Why should I complain right!!? Lol

  45. Aj says:
    (link)

    Would you trade Batum/Matthews for…A) Jennings/Pau or B) Jennings/Noah or C) Hold? Thanks

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Aj: I wouldn’t do any of those deals, Hold out for something better, if you’re dead set on trading those cats.

  46. itsadriel says:
    (link)

I traded my, wade, lawson, parsons, dwill, and jordan crawford. For Pekovic, afflalo, cousins, and holiday. I just couldnt take wade and parsons being out all the time. plus i feel like dwill will get injured again. what do you guys think bad or good? im in a points league system btw

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@itsadriel: I like it. You gave up talented headaches in Dwill, Parsons and Wade, for solid contributors.

  47. Frank White says:
    (link)

Hey Dan and Happy Holliday’s by the way!!! Sorry about the jibberish but every time I wrote a message it wasn’t working in basketball and football unless I used someone elses reply so I kept on sending tester replies to see if it worked. Grey ended up fixing the problem so my bad dude!

  48. Frank White says:
    (link)

Do you think Jordan Farmer is a good pickup for long term??

    • Frank White says:
      (link)

Oh and I was thinking about trying to trade OJ Mayo tp get Jared Sullinger.. I need a bigger guy but do you think it’s fair or do you think I should hold Mayo through the hard times??

      • Dan A

        Dan A says:
        (link)

@Frank White: Ditch Mayo, It’s a disaster in Milwaukee.

    • Dan A

      Dan A says:
      (link)

@Frank White: hw’a interesting, but it would be very speculative. He’s coming off a hamstring tear, so he’ll be sluggish, most likely, to begin.

      • Frank White says:
        (link)

So not a major pickup?? I saw that he wasgonna be a starter so ididn’t know if hewas a must pickup off the wire

  49. Aj says:
    (link)

Thoughts on offering up Robin Lopez/Eric Gordon for IT2? Too much or good time to try and sell Lopez

    • Dan A

      Dan A. says:
      (link)

@Aj: Lopez has a chance to hover at these numbers for the foreseeable future, he’s in a great position in Portland. If you don’t need the big man stats, it2 is hot right now. My concern is that he has logged the most minutes (averaged) in the league, and he will be ridden til the wheels come off. But he’s young, and dynamic. Your call. It’s a fair offer.
