“Whoa JB, two straight titles with ‘Triple Double’ in em.  You get an F for creativity, ya wank!”  Well, I have an F for you troll commenter!  Hard not to talk about trip dubs, especially when you have only two games and with under ten seconds left the dude hurts himself again.  Monster line from Blake Griffin in the loss to the Mavs, putting up 25/10/11/1/1 on 9-23 shooting, with 7-7 FT.  After missing a game with back spasms, Blake was able to suit up and was no worse for the wear.  For 47:51 that is.  Well, except maybe getting posterized by Brandan Wright.  Bias alert!  TNT didn’t show A SINGLE replay of that dunk.  Say whaaaa?!  Anyway, with under 10 seconds left, Blake took an inbounds pass and rolled his ankle on the court with no contact.  They were down six anyway!  Reminds me of Rob Gronkowski on the special teams and breaking his arm on a PAT up like 30 points.  Eh, maybe not the best comparison, but the game was over!  He said his back is ok and his ankle is fine, he’s just clumsy.  “Clumsy Clara!”  We’ll get more updates throughout the day, but if he has some swelling in that ankle or his back is still jacked when he gets up this morning, we might get a DNP.  Which spells terror for title bids coming into the final weekend for standard leagues.  Spells apocalypse.  Which ironically I found hard to spell for the longest while… The horror.  The horror…  Here’s what else I saw last night in NBA action:

Patty Mills – Hot off the barbie!  Big game for Patty hitting five treys for 21/6/1/1/0.  No Manu Ginobili helped the minutes.

Tiago Splitter – Gets the start and gets the Pop treatment.  Only 19 minutes, but did go multi-cat for 2/3/2/1/1.  Really a bad fantasy day across the board for da Spurs.

Serge Ibaka – 11/12/0/1/3.  Looking like a steal where you got him!

Russell Westbrook – A solid game, but sitting out tonight since a back-to-back.  Hey, at least he played on the light schedule night!  Interesting banter yesterday in comments – is he droppable if you’re heading into your last weekend?  I’d be sure your waiver rules are set so he can’t be picked up for Sunday.  And be sure you’re getting three games out of it via streaming that spot – rather than two of waiver fodder over one of Westbrook.  Probably would take one of Russ.

Reggie Jackson – Looked good off the bench, still got 30 minutes, but the volume is still hard to see for me to rank him very good next year.

Caron Butler – While working highlights for this one last night, I yelled “how the hell does Butler have five steals!?”  I yell it again.

Dirk Nowitzki – I like the nickname he pitched to Conan: “The Germinator!”  So many fun ways to take that nickname.  Well, Shawn Kemp is technically the germinator, but that’s the fun!  26/11/1/2/1 with four treys.  A steal of a pick.

Samuel Dalembert – Got manhandled a little bit by DeAndre Jordan, but still a 12/6/1/0/2 game.  And surprisingly sunk 6-6 FTs!  I guess I should’ve had a little more faith coming into this game since no other Mav can do much on DJ, the Haitian was Sensation-ing!  Well, sorta.  Not really.  Was fine.  Satisfying.  The Haitian Satisfaction!

Shawn Marion – I was talking with my buddy, and we decided we both loathe how slapping down on the ball for a strip can be scored a block.  It’s outrageous!  7/9/2/0/3 and one of those “blocks” was definitely a strip.  The last time I got so mad at a strip was when Demi Moore busted out the fakest things I’ve seen this side of a David Blaine magic trick.

Matt Barnes – Shot miserably going 2-9, but still a decent multi-cat of 6/6/2/0/1.  If you have unlimited moves though, I think you can move on from this stream.  Deeper leagues can hold since some of the vets might be donzo (below).

J.J. Redick – Another reason Barnes’ value takes a hit, with Redick getting 24 minutes in his return and shooting labradoodles.  3-10 for 12/2/1/0/0 and a couple of treys, and I don’t see any way he’s valuable unless in very deep leagues.  He’s a bacne-infested Dookie!

Jamal Crawford and Danny Granger – Kum bay ya, my Lord, kum bay ya.  Oh Lord, kum bay ya.

Really nothing too exciting from Thursday, so be sure and hit up any line-up questions you have tonight below!  Since most leagues are H2H and in the Finals, I’m moving to Monday, Wednesday Friday recap posts for the last stretch of the season.  I hope everyone brings home their titles over the weekend and good luck Razzball Nation!
