Thanks! I’ve decided to drop Childress even though i always liked his versatility. Like you said..it’s easier to replace a player like him. And who knows, maybe Oden stays healthy this year…

@Kyuss: Thanks! If Batum is the gun, then Oden is the cannoli. Unless you think there will be a better pickup during the season than Oden, I'd burn the waiver pick on either Barbosa or Childress. Even if both exceed expectations and Oden is a bust (again), it's easier to replace a player like Childress than anyone else you might drop. On the flip side, if Oden isn't a bust (for once), there aren't too many other players who will give you what he does.

Hey Adam, great site, thanks for providing us with all these posts. Really appreciate it.

I could use an opinion if it’s not too much trouble. I’m in a 12-team roto league with standard settings (public league-9 categories) where both Oden & Batum have been dropped. Is it worth claiming either of them off the waivers (i have waiver nr.1) – if yes, who would you drop?
