As the holiday season quickly approaches, it’s important to make time for family and to give thanks for all the blessings in our lives. In between the turkey and tradition, Thanksgiving doubles as one of the most significant sporting days in the nation. With professional football on the holiday dating back to 1920, it’s easy to get lost in the hype surrounding your pigskin potlucks.

While many fantasy football owners are focusing their energies on a potential playoff push, fantasy basketball owners need to continue to do the little things like setting your lineup and checking the waiver wire.

For the dedicated players, their weekly conquests are as certain as death and taxes or the 76ers and losing. As we spend the day traveling back to our families and loved ones, let’s glorify the Razzball fantasy stars of the previous week.

Check out how your teams stacked up in week 4 of the 2015-16 RCL Master Standings Table table, and here’s how the action went down in the fourth regular season week across our 22 RCL Leagues:

JB’s Random Commenter League – On the heels of a 8-1-0 performance in week 4, Carolina Cougars (28-8-0) expanded their league lead to five games while pouncing (Cougar pun) on the top spot in the RCL Master Standings for this week. Having only made four waiver wire acquisitions up to this point, Carolina Cougars’ success is largely due to his masterful drafting. I highly encourage you to give a TED Talk to share your methodology in approaching the draft.

Slim’s RCL – Cronos’s Team (26-9-1) continues his hot streak to stay atop the standings in week 4. The biggest beneficiary of his season-long success is actually me since I finally remembered where to place the apostrophe after spelling it for four straight weeks.

Adam’s RCL – Moving into a three-way tie for first place in the RCL Master Standings, Walkers Wingmen (27-7-2) have continued their league lead after going 6-3-0 last week. Judging by his consistency, it’s safe to assume the Wingmen are doing anything but winging it this year.

Kap vs. Razzball – Sniff & SCurry (25-11-0) has claimed sole possession of first place with a 3-game lead over second place with their 6-3-0 victory in week 4.

Khang’s RCL – This isn’t a joke: Drew Holiday (25-11-0) and Nick is Razzy (25-11-0) are tied for first place after both teams went 3-6-0 in week 4. Does anyone else think this is ridiculous?? I’m convinced both teams have identical rosters and somehow Yahoo has screwed up allowing two entries of the same team.

Stanley’s RCL – MemFitz Grizzlies RB (24-10-2) becomes the new leader in the standings after going 7-2-0 last week. While this has nothing to do with MemFitz’s successes, I just want to call attention to the fact Marc Gasol was dropped in this league. If this was done by accident, totally understand as Matt Forte was dropped in my fantasy football league. But if you happen to know something I don’t know, please email me, I could really use any fantasy advantage I can get at this point…

Drew’s Premier Razzball League – Rising to the top spot in the league after going 6-2-1 last week, Some Type of Mudiay (23-12-1) looks to take command of the standings heading into week 5, and I’m willing to bet, he’s feeling rich, homie.

Al’s RCL – Even after a pedestrian 5-4-0 victory in week 4, Sydney Kings (23-12-1) claimed the top spot heading into week 5. Also now that I understand the IT2/3 joke, it’s okay to start making the joke around me again!

Phil’s RCL – El Toro Lloilo (26-10-0) jump to first place after winning 8-1-0 last week. With a lineup featuring both Steph Curry and Michael Carter-Williams, let’s take a second to appreciate the simultaneous ownership of the best and worst shooters in the Associate.

Sock Puppet RCL – After jumping into first place in the standings, Thragnovs (27-9-0) makes his first appearance in my RCL recap while moving into a tie for fourth in the master RCL standings. So I can think of better jokes to use next week, can you give me a little insight into the meaning of your team name?

The Pete Nice Challenge RCL – Also tied for fourth in the master RCL standings, Smokin’ Fine Cubans (27-9-0) continues his season-long residence in the league’s penthouse. A bit of preemptive advice assuming you end up winning the league championship, don’t do what Mark Cuban did.

Slim’s other RCL – Continuing his reign atop the league, Prestige Worldwide (25-10-1) has a four and a half game lead in the standings heading into week 5. I think it’s safe to assume Prestige entered this fantasy season with this one simple goal.

London RCL – Tied for first place in the master RCL standings, megaloMELOmaniacs (28-8-0) finally broke his streak of three consecutive 8-1-0 games by going 4-5-0 last week. I’m not sure if this article will reach you in time, but you have two empty spots in your starting line up.

Adam’s League #2! – DunkeycornApocalypse (22-12-2) remains in first place for the second straight week despite going 4-5-0 in week 4.

Khang’s RCL – Part Deux – Despite it not currently being the best time to emulate the Laker legend, Just like Kobe (25-11-0) continues to lead in the standings.

JB vs. Slim – Despite going 4-5-0 in week 4, Mr Green Beans (25-11-0) remains in first place with a five-game lead over the next closest competitor. I’m not sure whether or not his below .500 performance confirms the prior PED allegations, but either way, expect to see Mr Green Beans atop the standings for the immediate future.

RCL is my hot hot _____ – After a 7-1-1 victory over the then second place Bricks n’ BallersSBC (24-10-2) remains in first place with a commanding four-game lead.

ATOWN RCL – James’ Superb Team (25-11-0) remains in first place for the second consecutive week after going 5-4-0 last week. With only a 1.5 game lead over One Bid Barker (23-12-1), James will have to keep being superb to hold onto first place.

JB’s surprise RCL – Team GIANT (27-9-0) leveraged their height to climb into a three-way tie for fourth place in the master RCL standings after going 8-1-0 for the second week in a row.

EmasculatingHoopsLozengesRCL – Also making their first appearance in the RCL recap, Pop’s Team (24-12-0) has jumped into the top spot in the standings. If Pop’s Team even remotely resembles the Spurs head coach, I assume he will not spend too much time celebrating since it’s just another day at the office

Charlie’s RCL – Brixton Guns (25-10-1) are really good. I’m not… But it’s totally okay because I’ve won five straight in my main fantasy football league. Do you think Yahoo will allow me to allocate some of those points into this league?

Kap vs. Razzball Round 2 – So nice, he did it thrice. Gasol Gas Hole (25-11-0) stays in first place for the third consecutive week after a 5-4-0 victory.
