@Pat: I worry a bit about your blocks and FG%. That said, you made four smart upside picks at the end of your draft. Even if only one reaches his full upside, you should be in good shape.

@Adam: Thanks. I had real high hopes for Splitter coming into our early draft, but much I hate to cut bait on a promising spec pick, Daye’s looking pretty good this pre-season.

@Bob: Thanks, Bob. No one gives better counsel than Grey, but I'll come as close as I can. Re: Daye. I'd do it. By the time Splitter is back fully healthy and positioning himself to take over the starting gig that looked to be his most of the summer, you'll have seen Daye for several weeks and you'll have a decent idea how he's being used in Detroit and what he can do with that usage.
